Knowing how much of a madman Conte is when it comes to training I wouldn't be surprised if he has our players doing the same stuff as he was last season but due to the much more hectic schedule they're being pushed too hard. If we had a huge squad filled with quality like the Manchester sides do or other elite sides in Europe it wouldn't be a problem because we'd be constantly rotating. We're forced to continue playing the same players match after match. Looks like it's going to get worse now because Bakayoko and Luiz appear to be injured.

Hahaha, that may be true. It would just be such a Chelsea thing to do which is why I named him. If Conte goes I hope our next manager is someone who plays aggressive, progressive, possession based football. I want us to take the game to teams rather than being reactive. I just hope Conte can get us back on track. May not be possible with the injury list piling up.

I don't even think he's close to the sack at this moment in time. Pick up 0 points against Watford and Bournemouth and I think he's a dead man walking and a change could be made to galvanize the squad before playing Roma again. I hate to even speculate or think about it because I love Conte, but both Ancelotti and Tuchel are out there waiting for another big job.

When it comes to him actually making saves I still think he's one of the best around. It's when you compare him against DDG, Lloris, and Ederson with the ball at their feet that you see a chasm between them. Thibaut is absolutely horrific at playing it out from the back. Poor distribution and poor when being closed down. I've watched Ederson in particular a lot recently and he looks as comfortable as an outfield player with the ball. Can't see Courtois ever developing those sort of skills.

Normally against these small teams I list a bunch of things that we must avoid doing ourselves in order to avoid an upset. Here, I actually expect us to lose. At home. To Watford. They'll press us high, they'll physically bully us, and probably similar to that abysmal Palace side we just lost to theyll somehow pass rings around us. Marco Silva is a great coach and will have a week to prepare for us whereas we'll have a quick turnaround of just a couple of days. And now Conte has just said that both Luiz and Bakayoko just picked up injuries. This is quickly developing into another season from hell. I'd be very surprised if we win this one. Which is insane to say about a team who is midtable at best.

The whole point of Fabregas is to use him as a fulcrum. He needs to start dominating the ball in midfield and keeping Roma nervous about pressing too far forward. Don't remember him getting the ball in the middle of the pitch once. We just finally get the ball and hoof it forward like Stoke or West Brom. Hold the ball and play it on the ground! Stop letting them walk through our entire team, ffs.

The 2 moments of individual class apart for our goals that was as bad as City for me. We looked as though our players have never played together before and didn't have a clue what to do.
