There was some good performances from the game though which was good to see. I thought Mikel was fantastic, he is really becomming an important player for us, the few times he got forward with the ball really showed what his true potential is. Drogba was class as always, the man is by far the best striker in the world, and Joey Cole had another good game and is really starting to hit some form.....

Was a very tough game, West Ham were determined to kick lumps out of us right from the start which made it very very hard for us to get any sort of rhythem going, but we got stuck in and played a lot better in the second half and created enough chances to win the game and we took one of them which was a great finish from Joe who had another good game...

Cheers, it's not a problem if i keep on top of it.....
-
It should be a good game though, missing Essien from this game is a blow, but it will give Sidwell a chance to show us what he can do as Maka will be rested now for the Arsenal game i would have thought.

Oh please god let us stick 6 goals past this bunch of twats and their retarded manager, i can't stand them.....

More likely that it isn't suprising considering the shocking state of most of their stadiums!!! AND they are going to hold a World Cup there!!!

Andriy Shevchenko Still Unhappy At Chelsea
EskWeston replied to EskWeston's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
If he is not happy here and wants to leave and there is no sign of improvement then he will let him go.... -
He did OK, wasn't invloved as much though, most of the play went down the Left with Cole..Would be typical for Carlton Cole to score past us.
-
Well they shouldn't be such useless twats then should they!!! Just something we will have to get used to...

Andriy Shevchenko Still Unhappy At Chelsea
EskWeston replied to EskWeston's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Not sure if he will leave in January, it is a very difficult time to let players go. But if these comments are correct then i am sure in the summer he will leave. It's a real shame when you can't get the best out of such a top class player, one of the problems for him was he was never suited to the Chelsea system... -
Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko has raised concerns over his future at Stamford Bridge once again after he said that he was at his happiest while on international duty.Ukraine international Shevchenko came off the bench to replace two-goal Didier Drogba in Rosenborg last night as Chelsea ensured their passage through to the knockout stages of the Champions League with a 4-0 victory. He had hoped to establish himself in Chelsea's starting line-up following the departure of Jose Mourinho. Since Avram Grant has taken over, Shevchenko remains to be left on the sidelines and continues to lose patience in west London."I'm not happy but what can I do?" Shevchenko told a Croatian newspaper. "I'm quiet and work hard in training every day."While Shevchenko struggles to score in the Premier League - he has only scored five goals since his arrival in 2006 - he holds an impressive goals-per-game ratio on the international stage."The biggest joy for me is playing for Ukraine," the 31-year-old said. "Every time I'm with the national team, I recharge my batteries which run low in London because of the things that are happening to me. "I'm very happy when I'm at home and I just can't wait for the next games." Shevchenko is likely to go up against some of his Chelsea team-mates in Frank Lampard, Joe Cole, Ashley Cole and Shaun-Wright Phillips when Ukraine face England in their 2010 World Cup qualifier.Despite England's failure to reach the Euro 2008 finals, Shevchenko believes they will come back stronger and are favourites to top the standings to book their spot at the tournament in South Africa."England are the best in our group. Just look at which clubs the England stars are playing in."England didn't qualify (for Euro 2008) but they are still one of the strongest national teams in Europe. In my opinion, something like that will not happen again for England."Source: Telegraph

Grates??? F**king has me fuming at the blatant injustice!!!! How dare we win the league, it was a really nasty horrible thing for us to do.......... c**t's
-
Ahhhhh, furry muff then. Means more cash for us then through a new sponsorship deal, which is nice.
-
Valencia won't count, means nothing now.... but the other games should be crackers.
-
Etihad is already a sponsor.... Is the Samsung deal already comming to an end? Wasn't very long was it?
-
Well if thats the rule then it should be enforced, but it is a bit silly, arms go all over the pace, but and elbow swing should be a straight red.I have lost count of the ammount of times now we have been done for something when the same or similar happens in other games without punishment.
-
I would love to stuff the cockney f**kers and i hope we do, they are pretty vulnerable and we need to keep the pressure on them to stop them breaking on us. The games against them are usually either excellant value (i.e we stuff them) or they are cagey affairs...
-
There has been a lot of talk about our defense being shakey all season, i agree it doesn't exactly look rock solid but the clean sheets speak for themselves and we wasn't REALLY troubled that much......It is going to take time to get the football more slick, but we have had some cracking games now and it can only get better.
-
I dunno about a red, there is a huge difference between swinging an elbow and a hand in the face. They are clamping down to heavily on the silly things and letting things like kung fu kicks go.
-
He was fantastic last night, but it was one of those night for him right from the start, he should have just given up shooting
-
Absolutely, and as far as we are concerned it is pointless. But from there perspective it is a big deal, not bothered by it, and if through this we manage to snap up a star out of nowhere then it will be good too.
-
Yup, bit of a shame as he is the only decent English candidate. But the FA won't touch him with a barge pole now....
-
Now that was a quality performance, good to see us again taking it to a team. Pisses me off though the way that everyone says that Rosenborg were poor, yes they were but by the very definition of a 4 - 0 loss they were bound to be poor, when Arsenal, Man you or Liverpoo thump teams there is no talk about the opposition being poor. We played excellant.Lamps, Drogba and Joe Cole ran the show last night, all 3 of them were right on top of their game and it's a shame Frank didn't get a goal he deserved. It was great to see us keeping the pressure on from minute 1 to minute 90 and it could have EASILY been a hell of a lot more, and should have been with the chances we created. Now we have qualification secured and we can breathe a bit easier.
-
And also shooting them everywhere, his shooting boots were definately left at Cobham for this game
