Indeed, thats because he isn't THAT good, and why this story was rubbish from the start...
-
The only way it will happen is if we let go a left back, which i can't see us doing, there is simply no room for him here.
-
Can't see it happening for a start. BUT if there is a grain of truth in it then there is no way we should do it. Maybe sell him, but NOT to united, Sheva is class and it would be typical for him to go there and recover his form.....
-
With a weeks rest before this game we should be in good form and well prepared and i fully expet us to beat them. Would love to absolutely smash them because i can't stand that w**ker Keane....
-
Lol, great draw for us and should be a cracking game. Sinclair and Sahar will be back from loan by then and i would seriously doubt we would let them play Mancienne against us. Will be interesting thats for sure.

Great to see someone in the press finally give Mikel some credit, every single other young player gets untold praise on them when they play well because they are young. And Mikel deserves the same.Mikel is a class class player, he is getting better all the time. I hope that the holding role is not going to be a permanant role for him because as we say on Saturday he can offer so much to us going forward and can be a fantastic creative influence. It is going to be fantastic watching this young man grow into a truly world class player.

Lack of disipline??? I don't think so anyway. The red cards we have taken have been nothing short of shocking, none of them warranted a red.And as far as the West Ham game goes, FB is right, if the ref had sorted out the West Ham players at the start it would never have got that bad. Mikel was targeted constantly, you could see him getting wound up because the ref took no action, he flew in once and was still targeted after that, but he kept his cool and was fantastic, so full credit to him. There is no lack of disipline as far as i can see.
-
Glad they are doing something, it is awful the way we are targeted, watching the Arsenal game at the weekend they surrounded the ref at every chance, nothing will come of it. It is blatantly wrong and i am gald the club are doing something.

Drogba Wins Bbc Footballer Of The Year
EskWeston replied to rissy-cfc's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
He deserves more than this award, he is by far the best striker in the world. But because he is not a show pony he won't win the biggies...But as far as we are concerned he is the best. -
What a brilliant article.........Another supberbly written piece based on snippets from a Chelsea "Source".... Ahh the fabeled Chelsea source a character of such solid foundation, how we have loved reading his cracking information in the past and how we love it still.Could maybe have had a little bit more credability if the story got it's facts right as well. Saying that Mick McGivern is the scout and that Emanalo takes the place of Rui!!! Shocking reporting, not to mention doing Villas Boas a huge dis-service by calling him "football manager obsessed" as if he got all his info from there....Awful article
-
There was some good performances from the game though which was good to see. I thought Mikel was fantastic, he is really becomming an important player for us, the few times he got forward with the ball really showed what his true potential is. Drogba was class as always, the man is by far the best striker in the world, and Joey Cole had another good game and is really starting to hit some form.....
-
Was a very tough game, West Ham were determined to kick lumps out of us right from the start which made it very very hard for us to get any sort of rhythem going, but we got stuck in and played a lot better in the second half and created enough chances to win the game and we took one of them which was a great finish from Joe who had another good game...
-
Cheers, it's not a problem if i keep on top of it.....
-
It should be a good game though, missing Essien from this game is a blow, but it will give Sidwell a chance to show us what he can do as Maka will be rested now for the Arsenal game i would have thought.
-
Oh please god let us stick 6 goals past this bunch of twats and their retarded manager, i can't stand them.....

More likely that it isn't suprising considering the shocking state of most of their stadiums!!! AND they are going to hold a World Cup there!!!

Andriy Shevchenko Still Unhappy At Chelsea
EskWeston replied to EskWeston's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
If he is not happy here and wants to leave and there is no sign of improvement then he will let him go.... -
He did OK, wasn't invloved as much though, most of the play went down the Left with Cole..Would be typical for Carlton Cole to score past us.
-
Well they shouldn't be such useless twats then should they!!! Just something we will have to get used to...

Andriy Shevchenko Still Unhappy At Chelsea
EskWeston replied to EskWeston's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Not sure if he will leave in January, it is a very difficult time to let players go. But if these comments are correct then i am sure in the summer he will leave. It's a real shame when you can't get the best out of such a top class player, one of the problems for him was he was never suited to the Chelsea system... -
Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko has raised concerns over his future at Stamford Bridge once again after he said that he was at his happiest while on international duty.Ukraine international Shevchenko came off the bench to replace two-goal Didier Drogba in Rosenborg last night as Chelsea ensured their passage through to the knockout stages of the Champions League with a 4-0 victory. He had hoped to establish himself in Chelsea's starting line-up following the departure of Jose Mourinho. Since Avram Grant has taken over, Shevchenko remains to be left on the sidelines and continues to lose patience in west London."I'm not happy but what can I do?" Shevchenko told a Croatian newspaper. "I'm quiet and work hard in training every day."While Shevchenko struggles to score in the Premier League - he has only scored five goals since his arrival in 2006 - he holds an impressive goals-per-game ratio on the international stage."The biggest joy for me is playing for Ukraine," the 31-year-old said. "Every time I'm with the national team, I recharge my batteries which run low in London because of the things that are happening to me. "I'm very happy when I'm at home and I just can't wait for the next games." Shevchenko is likely to go up against some of his Chelsea team-mates in Frank Lampard, Joe Cole, Ashley Cole and Shaun-Wright Phillips when Ukraine face England in their 2010 World Cup qualifier.Despite England's failure to reach the Euro 2008 finals, Shevchenko believes they will come back stronger and are favourites to top the standings to book their spot at the tournament in South Africa."England are the best in our group. Just look at which clubs the England stars are playing in."England didn't qualify (for Euro 2008) but they are still one of the strongest national teams in Europe. In my opinion, something like that will not happen again for England."Source: Telegraph

Grates??? F**king has me fuming at the blatant injustice!!!! How dare we win the league, it was a really nasty horrible thing for us to do.......... c**t's
-
Ahhhhh, furry muff then. Means more cash for us then through a new sponsorship deal, which is nice.

Valencia won't count, means nothing now.... but the other games should be crackers.
