  1. Chelsea boss Avram Grant is ready to splash out £45 million on Spanish Liga stars David Villa and Daniel Alves this month. The Mirror says with a deal for Lokomotiv Moscow defender Branislav Ivanovic being wrapped up, Chelsea are going back for Sevilla right-back Dani Alves, who was priced out of a move to Stamford Bridge in August. Grant also has the backing of Blues owner Roman Abramovich to bid for Valencia's unsettled strike-ace Villa. Valencia have signalled Villa could leave for a non-Spanish club if the right offer comes in. Alves, whose on-off move to the Bridge last summer collapsed when Sevilla rejected a £17m bid, is likely to be available as the club seek cash for rebuilding plans. Source: Tribal Football
  2. Lol, the chubby twat spent as much as anyone else in the summer and now he has no money to spend in January he is moaning again gotta laugh at him really havn't you.
  3. Lol, quality.... Oh don't forget Pizarro, we can add him to the misfit list as well.
  4. It is very good to hear Frank say this now as we have not heard anything on this for a long while now and it is good to know that his intention is to stay still. I agree though that 6 or 7 years could be very optomistic. The problem for us with these January transfers is that we need them done very very fast because of the ACN mainly and our massive injury pile up so we have no time to beat them down on prices, chances are we will pay slightly over the odds for most players this January...
  5. Frank Lampard today committed his future to Chelsea by revealing that he wants to stay at the club for the next "six or seven years". The midfielder's pledge provides a timely boost for Avram Grant as he tries to overhaul Arsenal's lead at the top of the Premier League in the second half of the season. The Chelsea boss is close to recruiting two new players - striker Nicolas Anelka and defender Branislav Ivanovic - but Lampard's insistence that he wants to "stay at this club for the rest of my career" is much more significant. Contract talks with chief executive Peter Kenyon are on hold, which prompted speculation that Lampard was set on a move abroad in the summer. The midfielder, 29, who has 18 months left on his contract, is still not expected to put pen to paper until the end of the season, yet he has assured fans that this is not a reason for them to worry. He said: "On a scale of one to 10, Chelsea is a 10 for me in terms of importance and I'm not just saying that. Everyone around me knows how much Chelsea mean to me. In my life my family comes first, but Chelsea come second. "I don't think I will receive the love I get from the Chelsea fans anywhere else. I feel strongly about it and I'd love to have another six or seven years of it. I'm at a club I love and living in an area I love." Anelka has confirmed for the first time he wants a move to Stamford Bridge and revealed that the two clubs are in talks - even though that was denied last night by Bolton boss Gary Megson. The 28-year-old France international is eligible to play in the Champions League despite playing for Bolton in the UEFA Cup and, while Manchester City are also believed to be interested in him, he hopes a move to Chelsea will be completed soon. Anelka said: "The chairmen [of Bolton and Chelsea] are discussing it. I hope it happens but until the contract is signed and I am presented to the press in my new shirt, nothing is done. "I want to go to a bigger club and that's what Manchester City have become under [sven-Goran] Eriksson, who I was ready to join in 1999 at Lazio. Staying at Bolton, where I am very happy, wouldn't be a punishment either." Bolton signed Anelka, who played in their 1-0 win over Derby last night, from Fenerbahce for £8million last year but they want around £15m for the striker. Chelsea also expect to secure an £8m deal for Lokomotiv Moscow defender Ivanovic. The Serbia international can play anywhere across the back four and will bring more depth to the squad with captain John Terry out for several weeks with a foot injury and Tal Ben Haim struggling for form. 6. Lol, yup City will spend big and Sven seems to have a good eye for players. Whereas Rafa reportedly has to sell Crouch, Riise and Sissoko just to be able to get Mascherano permenantly....
  7. .....................................Cech....................................... Alves..............Carvalho................Terry......................A.Cole .....................................Mikel...................................... .......................Lampard...............Ronaldinho......................... ..Messi................................................................J.Cole.. .......................................Drogba................................... Subs: Cudicini, Alex, Ballack, Kalou, Villa
  8. Well it would be good to get our first signing under the belt for January as soon as possible. However i would say that a Centre back is not the most pressing of positions needed to be filled at the moment. Midfield and a striker are the most important right now...
  9. Rafa can stay for ever as far as i am concerned. With him in charge they will win feck all in the league thats for sure. And with City playing well this season they could be in danger of missing out on a CL spot..... City will spend more in January as well.
  10. He was getting forward a lot in those YouTube clips. And he definately looks like he will be able to physically cope with the Premiership which is always good to help players to adapt.
  11. His latest injury has come at an awful time for him, just as he was starting to find his form. Can still be very good for us though and hopefully he will..
  12. They have gone on something of a spening spree very quickly already this transfer window and picked up a few decent young players. Although we should be able to overcome them at home without too many difficulties. Would expect at least Sinclair to get a run out in this game and would like to see a couple more on the bench for if we have the game won like Stoch and Bertrand.
  13. No reason to pick one, both are top top class players who can and will play together in a midfield 3 when Lamps is back. Ballack has been very impressive in the last few games though and he will be a big player for us for the rest of the season.
  14. Papers have this one down as virtually a done deal. Would be good to see us bring in someone like this to replace Ben Haim who looks massively suspect. He is young too and looks a very strong lad...
  15. Berbatov is becomming one the most overrated players around. Decent player but we could do a lot better thats for sure..
  16. He is never going to be able to cut it with us and like Ben Haim needs to be replaced, ideally someone young and with hunger.
  17. This game was a very good result for us, with Fulham having a lot to prove for many reasons it could have been a real Banana skin for us. The first half was very tough and with all the players we had missing we were really struggling to get anything going. But the second half was fantastic from us and we fully deseerved the win. It is good to see Kalou getting in the goals again, i still think he can be a top class player in time. And Alex is getting better and better with each game, although Ben Haim is still a massive liability.
  18. At the end of the day you don't sell your top players to your rivals. Just can't see it happening to be honest...
  19. Well he could have picked a better role model but the boy is certainly class. He has a while to go yet as he is not yet fully established in the reserves but once he does his progression i feel will be rapid....

  21. Thanks for the birthday wishes guys errrrrrrrrrrrrmmmm, but leave the hairy arse out next time eh
  22. The papers should be forced to give the same coverage to their apology for a false story that they gave the original one.
  23. Through the back doors with his "Dodgy" clubs in countries where there isn't much difficulty in them obtaining an EU passport quickly. Also at the moment because he picks them up at about 20(ish) the chances are they already play regulary for their national team so there is no permit problems then. To pick up 16 year olds for the academy would be very very hard indeed.
  24. Bringing them into the Academy is a problem as well because they do not have an EU passsport....
  25. Too right, i am very confident that we will make the final again, and i think we will be playing the Arse Kids again
