Well it is pretty obvious that we will be signing Ivanovic now and also the Franco Di Santo deal is one that should be going through as well. Don't know if there will be anymore though, who knows.

Aparently we got the permit agreed and he is over today finalising the details. Aparently Kenyon said on CTV that there will be another signing this week and it looks like this is the one.

OK so i have just had the new catalogue from Adidas with the football shirts for next season in it land on my desk, and................... unsuprisingly they have not confirmed the pictures in the catalogue However what i can confirm is the colours of the new Away and 3rd kit. The away shirt for next season is Black/White The 3rd shirt for next season is Pure Yellow/Reflex Blue - i would guess this would be a more pale version of the current yellow shirt. What i will say though is that they always have photographs taken in the factory to show much like the one on the first page, so there is every chance that it will be like in that pic.

Lol, very good point, but still it's nice to be optomistic and we do have a fantastic chance of winning it back again, especially as we are now really starting to hit form.

It's a big game for Anelka now, he will 100% start now that Pizarro has taken a knock and he will need to show that he can do it for us for 90 mins and be an asset to the team even if he doesn't score, although i believe he probably will.

Birmingham will of course try to stop us from playing and try to do us on the counter attack. But as for Fergie giving tips on us, he hasn't exactly had the most luck in stopping us from playing in recent years has he

Well that would be a massive bonus for us. Although missing JT hasn't been as big of an issue this time around. Mainly due to the form of Alex for us. But we need our captain back as soon as possible and for him to get over his recent injury jinx.

His mentality seems to have changed somewhat over the years, he has said in the last couple of days that he wants Chelsea to be his last club. Now he has to show that he is good enough to stay, because we can afford to buy the best strikers around and he has to be able to compete with that. The only thing he can do is bang the goals in, and it looks like he will do.

It has been a crazy season so far and we would never have expected to be in this position. The team is bearing up well even though there are clearly a few players who are not up to scratch we have looked at covering that. I would say now that we are in great shape to at least win something this season which will be a great achievement.

If you take Sidwell out we was playing on Saturday with the only possible midfield we could have put out. Without Sidwell we will be in trouble if we lost one of them through injury, although Lamps should be back soon, hopefully for the game against the Brummies.

Excellant post Ollie.... We certainly have been able to cope more with the loss of big players this season than ever before. Before we have seriously struggled but this season we have coped well with the players stepping up for the challenge. What we have lacked though i feel in the absense of Drogba is a out and out goalscorer which is what i hope Anelka will bring, we create plenty of chances at the moment but we are taking enough of those chances.

10 days on and EVERYWHERE has him down as a Chelsea player, yet nothing from the club and no sign of him yet.... very strange as there is no work permit issue with him.

Yup, already heard that we will find out today if we can get the permit for him. So hopefully we have the deal done and dusted this week, although i did read somewhere he is getting married this week which could hold it up a bit.
