Blah Blah Blah, every bloody week there is a new this player and a new that player comming out of South America. The fact is English clubs are always going find it difficult/impossible to sign young South Americans because of the work permit issues and also the weather and more physical nature of the PL. IF he is that good then we will be looking at him...

Ivanovic Tipped To Be A Premiership Star
EskWeston replied to Steve's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
New Chelsea signing Branislav Ivanovic is more than impressed with what he has seen at Stamford Bridge and is hoping he can repeat the impact on the Premier League made by compatriot Nemanja Vidic. The 23-year-old signed for Chelsea last week from Lokomotiv Moscow in a deal worth just under £10million. "My first impressions are fascinating," Ivanovic told Serbian TV B92 "I haven't seen much but everything until now is just phenomenal." Vidic has made a huge impression at Manchester United, since he moved from Russian football, and Ivanovic is hoping to take something from his experiences. "I haven't spoken to Nemanja Vidic in recent days, but he managed to explain to me several things from before," he said. "He warned me that I am facing a very difficult start, but as time goes by, it should become more easy. "I have a period of adaptation in front of me that I must pass as quick as possible." Ivanovic's first hurdle is to get up to match fitness as the Russian season finished in November. "I haven't trained with a team for a month, but I have worked regularly by myself. That's why I am not in full shape, so I would need to wait some time." Source: Sky Sports -
Should be an announcement sometime this week i would imagine.

There is no way we will sell him until the summer, when we will rebuild. The injuries just keep comming and the ACN is a pain in our backside. We need him at the moment so there is no-way he will be going.
-
We should have ourselves in a position to be able to win the tie without too much problems. We had them under control in the last leg and we should be able to do the same this time. We need to take our chances better though and bang a couple of goals in to give us the comfort.
-
Not a classic by any means but a win is a win and you get games like these and we came through it. Man you and Arsenal have bother stuggled against them also but we managed to get the win which is all that mattered. All we need to worry about now is being able to put a team out for Wednesday.

What a load of crap. Drogba was awesome in 2007 and Adebayor was no-way near as good, not even close. Even the Arsenal fans call him a f**king Donkey for gods sake......

Ivanovic Tipped To Be A Premiership Star

It would look as though for this season at least he will be utilised as a right back. He will need a bit of time to get used to training with the team and getting his fitness level up. -
That may be the case, but you are not going to tell me that Man you and Arsenal play sensational football every game because they don't but they get the "Hard fought victory line" We are hated by the media and as such are hated by everyone but Chelsea fans who lap it up. Who cares, do we honestly WANT other teams fans to like us?
-
It's one thing to be critical of a players performances but it is completely wrong to get on a players back like that. During a game the fans should give every Chelsea player 100% support. Although it does seem to be the Chelsea way to boo and openly critisise players and club these days...

Won't anything official until he gets here over the weekend and has his medical and signs his contract...
-
Can't disagree with what he says. He didn't get credit for scoring as many goals as he did last season. Similar record to Crespo who was very highly regarded by the Chelsea fans. And he did just start to hit form when injury hit him again. With Anelka in unless we start to play 2 up top then he will struggle even more to find time to get a run in the team.
-
By all means, dream away....
-
Trouble is he won't get enough games there soon once we get Essien and Mikel back.
-
Ooooooooo they are delightful.... A chic showing off her knockers: http://www.pages.drexel.edu/~jh76/chick_knockers.jpg
-
Duff is just about ready for the knackers yard!!!! Got rid at the right time, just like we did with Robben
-
Lol...... Well here is a right pair of tits for you:
-
You think SWP could become World Class in the attacking midfield position? Hmmm, better than some of the names who are regarded as world class already? I dunno if he could...........
-
Yup seen that one, it is always hard to get a feel from videos though. The fact that he is in the Argentina youth team though says a lot about his ability and that he is so highly rated there too.
-
Of what? Collar or Bust?
-
Lol, that HAS to be completely made up for sure...... He does look a very intelligent player and ideally suited to play for us with his height, but he will take time to get used to the more physical nature of the Premier League, his quick feet and speed will be an asset to us as well, and i look forward to seeing him play for us,

But you are forgetting that football fans are the scum of the earth and should they be allowed to stand who the hell knows what could happen..... -
I believe that the terms have been agreed with both the club and the player and it is now just a case of him comming over at the weekend to take his medical and to be officially unveiled. Not too sure why we waiting till now as the deal had been done for a while....

Official Stadium Plan Announcement Soon?

We have had massive attendances in the past, but i wouldn't say on anything like a regular basis. Also the area would not have been as built up and health and safety issues were pretty much non-existant. -

Well that is the only problem that everyone all exits onto the same road and there are not many ways around that which is why we can get permission for a larger capacity.
