  1. Really? Blimey, i hope he is properly ready and not rushing back too fast.
  2. All the big clubs are all about the money making, which is why Man you recently did that trip abroad during the season and the pre season trips are always to places that "have market potential"...... the businessmen deal with the business and the footballers play the football, unfortunately thats the way it is.
  3. He needs to get regular games though, it looks like it could be Charlton after the weekend which would be good for him. If he can do well there over a period of time it will put him in good stead for next season.
  4. Leicester City have been told they are not good enough to sign teenage Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair on loan. Foxes boss Ian Holloway was eager to bring the 18-year-old to the Walkers Stadium and thought he was on the verge of getting his man. But Holloway told BBC Radio Leicester: "We have now been told we can't have him. Chelsea do not want to let him go to a team that's where we are. "There's one struck off that we had half-planned and half-promised." Sinclair is back at Stamford Bridge after a loan spell at QPR but has fallen down the pecking order following Florent Malouda's return to fitness. Holloway thought he had a good chance of landing the England youth international but has been told they want him to play for a side near the top of the Championship table. He added: "If they do loan him out they want to loan him to a club with a chance of getting in the play-offs because they want him to experience that." Holloway was also previously manager of Bristol Rovers, from whom Sinclair joined the Premier League giants in July 2005. Source: BBC
  5. Well the only way anyone will get the fans to metaphorically suck them off is to lower the ticket prices to a reasonable level - and at the end of the day that is all we really care about other than the football. But again not likely to happen - especially while we are selling out every game
  6. Ooooppss, erm - i i meant the tea lady is a lovely lady Ahhh, tis a nice dream but it's not very likely to happen is it? All the business side is a load of bollocks as far as we are concerned, but they go through the process of advertising all the marketing crap to appeal to new fans and to make us look good in the media.... it's all a s**t but what can you do. Get someone else in his place? Won't make a blind bit of difference.
  7. Lol, well don't ask Kenyon then. All he cares about is how popular we are in other countries, how good our sponsorship deals are ect.... at the end of the day team affairs mean jack to him - it's not his job. Besides we don't need to particularly like Kenyon, as long as he does his job why should we care? It used to be the 11 players on the pitch was all that anyone cared about, these days everyone is a wannabe businessman/manager/scout and need to approve of every level of the club right down to the tea lady (who incidently is a right old cow!!)
  8. Lol, what would someone else have done differently? He was brought in to make the business side of the club better!
  9. Chelsea's FA Youth Cup quarter-final match away to Port Vale will take place on Tuesday 26 February with a 7pm. The venue is Vale Park and admission will be £4 adults and £2 concessions. The game will be shown live on Chelsea TV. Should Chelsea make it through to the semi-finals, Aston Villa, who beat Carlisle 2-0 last night and are coached by former Chelsea player Tony McAndrew, await. The semi final is played over two legs. The Under 18s have reached this stage of the prestigious and long-running competition by beating Stevenage, Shrewsbury and Leicester. Source: Chelsea FC
  10. Whereas if we had got someone else in rather than him they would have done.....????
  11. I have no problem with Kenyon at all, he is doing the job he is paid to do! And doing it very well as far as i can see........
  12. I wish i could watch EVERY youth team game! But unfortunately they only show the FA Youth Cup games on CTV! The last one was excellant though....
  13. From the way he is talking he will go to whoever offers him the biggest pay day! Now this is one player that would be a sensational signing for us and me a massive deal. The guy is class and exactly what we need.
  14. Would be a leathal force against most defences let alone Huddersfield. Although it is a bit of overkill playing against them, i think it will only be used if he wants to experiment in preparation for the big cup games....
  15. Completely agree, in these cup games Stoch is our key man. Although in general the youth games (including the cup games) have been dominated by the creative spark of Kakuta. The pair of them together has been leathal, when the opposition trys to double mark one the other takes over the influence - the last cup game was prime example, Kakuta wiped the floor with them first half, second half was all Stoch.
  16. Would be good to see. We havn't made it this far for a very very long time, and to get the semi's would be a huge deal too. But i honestly think we have the players who can win this! Our attacking options are just top class and we can always get goals.
  17. Daniel Alves has revealed that he wishes to leave Sevilla as soon as possible. The Brazilian international was strongly linked with a move to Chelsea last summer; however a switch failed to materialise. Real Madrid and Barcelona are also thought to be keen on the attacking full-back, while Alves' former manager Juande Ramos - now in charge of Tottenham - has been linked with a swoop. And the 24-year-old, who joined Sevilla in 2003 from Bahia, has explained that he is looking to move in order to further his career. "I want to leave Sevilla by the nearest exit," he said in the Daily Star. "I believe I deserve it. I don't want to leave the club, to which I owe everything, on a bad note. "I want to play for one of those clubs that can influence your career and your life, where you have to earn the interest of the manager and have a good income. "I want to improve as a professional and as a person." Source: Sky Sports
  18. The following 2 games are huge which does mean that there is every chance that a basic second string team will go out for this game. But there is also the issue of trying a few things out (formation, personel) in preparation for the 2 big games......
  19. Now that would certainly be very interesting to see, i could see it working very well actually.
  20. I don't mind valentines day as long as it doesn't get tacky. Having some flowers delivered to the missus at work and we going to have a night in with a take away and a movie.... a good excuse for a bit of romance )
  21. I think he may start with Didier and Anelka just to see how they can work together, would certainly be interesting. Although i think Sheva is fit too so maybe he will get a start...
  22. Yup, KO'd by Sunderland. lol... It is a very interesting one for us i think, we have a great team and a fantastic chance to win it this year..
  23. With Joe Cole and Kalou both playing very well and established players we could afford to go an get someone younger who we can play semi-regular and allow them to become world class with us.
