  1. Would definately be a fantastic signing still, i would just like to see us bring someone in who can give us their best years and a lot of them too..... which hopefully we will get from Di Santo
  2. Very true, winning it by default can't be very good..
  3. Well we have no idea what goes on behind the scenes. But while we are winning and doing as well as we are i am happy to keep my mouth shut and give the management team my support.
  4. Lol, should have kept my mouth shut....
  5. Whilst i would not exactly be dissapointed to see us sign Ronaldinho i think we should be concentrating more on signing the younger stars of the future rather than the ones who we are only likely to get a few years out of.....
  6. Grant has been mocked for not having the correct coaching badges (among other things). But he has always had the highest coaching badge he needed because previously Israel were not part of Europe so he would not have needed a UEFA licence. Was mentioned in a different version of the story.....
  7. It's looks like he is going to be the big transfer story in the summer! All the major clubs are going to want to sign him. He will cost a fortune because a bidding war will start and also we all know what Lyon are like when negotiating transfers!!!
  8. Really?? A award ceremony right in the middle of the ACN! Then when he said he wouldn't go because he wanted to concentrate on the ACN they tell him that he will stripped of the winners award....
  9. Good to hear that Di Santo is settling in nicely and the players are looking after him. The club have clearly explained to him the situation knowing that depending on his progression it could take between 2 months and a year to break in. I think it will be tempting for the club to give him a run out against Huddersfield especially if he is doing well in training.
  10. It's not rocket science though, i am sure we ARE looking at him. We would be mad not to with the way he is impacting at the moment.
  11. A lot of work has gone into the Chelsea womens team recently, and this just goes to prove that. When it comes to womens footie you have to be looking to compete with Arsenal because they just steamroll it.
  12. I agree, however this is going to be the first time we have really had to deal with it for these midfielders. Before we have either had injuries or Mikel just learning and also playing the diamond to keep them all in the team. Now only 3 of 4 absolute top top class midfielders are going to play every game...
  13. The problem for him is that as far as going forward is concerned both Ballack and Lampard are better than him at it! So he will not get forward as much for us.
  14. Well maka will go back to being rested and saved for the big games. SWP won't be played in the centre after everyone is back and isn't as influential down the wings. The difficulty will be deciding how to play and rotate Mikel, Essien, Lampard and Ballack.
  15. Yup i would agree with that, although having either back to play alongside Lampard and Essien would be a huge bonus. Will be good to have a first choice central midfield again, and just in time to play the Scousers.
  16. This is a very important game in the season for us. To take 3 points away from this game with be massive for us and give us a good motivation to kick on in the league. Having Lamps and Mikel back is going to be a very very big bonus for us and make us a lot stronger in midfield. Yes Ballack and Lampard can play in the same midfield together and they will show that hopefully in this game. It will never be an easy game but i would think we have the quality to be able to beat them at home.
  17. He should get bloody knighted if he does that
  18. It should be that we hope that Ref's can use some common sense and not send him off for nothing challenges.... Would be fantastic if we could put out Mikel, Lamps and Ballack for the visit of the theives...
  19. Nah, it has already been confirmed that his suspension will be served while he was in Africa.
  20. Will be great to have Mikel back, and also at the same time as it looks like we will get Frank back too. Mikel served his ban while in Africa so it isn't a problem.
  21. Again it is funny how these stories come out when we are doing very well and actually look like having a successful season. At the end of the day who gives a s**t! Couldn't care less what players get up to off the pitch as long as they are doing the business on it.
  22. I do hope that story is true, and it would have been even better if the whole team had wiped their arse on it before handing it back
  23. No we didn't fill those slots, Sam Hutchinson and Lee Sawyer went onto "List B" which is for players born on or After January 1st 1986 and to have played for the club for an uninterupted time of 2 years since their 15th birthday. We can only have a 23 man squad because JT is our only "club trained" player (This is a player who has been registered with the club for 3 years between the ages of 15 and 21) This is the sensible thing for the club to have done, Ballack and Anelka can be vital for us and better options than Sidwell and Pizarro.
