I agree we need to close top targets but also we need money to fill up other positions too... the one player that I really wanted us to sign was Tolisso The only thing I was pissed about the Lukaku deal was Mourinho, he was the reason Lukaku left and now that ******* is getting him such an ********** I would have been ok if any other manager or club had gotten Lukaku just not Mou**** and United. They seem to be on track to shaping a good team.

I would be pissed if we dont sign anyone at all but we still have plenty of time to land good players. Same goes for Conte, he can't get agitated this early in the transfer market. Yes we didn't get the player we wanted but then for that money I wont feel comfortable blowing our entire team rebuilding project on one player. After what happened with Lukaku my skepticism level for news online has increased.

hopefully this is real news and there isnt another club waiting to hijack this deal... Not going to have my hopes high till it actually is announced in the official site.

I think it all fell apart when Costa didn't respect Conte after knowing that the Chinese club came for him. Remember how he refused to train? well can't blame Conte for that. Conte is the boss he probably doesnt want to deal with the fact that he has a player who refuses to cooperate at the crucial junction in our title race again, nothing wrong about that. Even if we did have Costa I think we need a/another top striker to compete in all competitions. It would be a stroke of genius if Conte can defend the title this season judging by how our transfer market is going( I know it is a little early but still). There isn't a sense of urgency shown from our club. Really hope that Lukaku wasn't in our radar and it was just a fantasy story cooked by some journalists to get viewership.

Youth needs the right kind of development so that they can turn into something of a value for us. We wont get wonderkids by loaning them out to lower division teams. If we want them to play in PL/CL level then we need to train/develop them in that direction. It is a lost cause to have any expectation that someone from the academy would make it to starting 11.

It could be rough when you are thinking we got a striker all along and bam some thing like this happens. Looks like our board is doing the business in a clandestine manner or that they are just pissing Conte and waiting for his resignation ( hilarious isn't it?)

It will be very interesting to see Lukaku go to United after what Mourinho did to him at Chelsea. I mean it was his fault that he isn't with us in the first place.

It is going to be really hard to see him play for Villa but guess that is life, was gutted to see Lampard play for city can't take legends playing for any other team in the PL. Guess Drogba was true legend in that respect. Every other legend looked to someother club in PL (not blaming them here just stating the fact)

What kind of madness is this?? give the man what he wants and let him rebuild chelsea. But if he doesnt get the players he wants I would be more than happy to see him go. I dont want him to have a bad exit at Chelsea, I want him to be the hero we didn't deserve. Are we the only club that haven't signed any player yet? I know we like to do business late but we also wont have the right kind of players to do business with.
