marin at genk? i think u meant kdb. but i dont think rambo and mikel would be a good combo defensively. plus both of them dont have that range of passing as lamps as he showed in the barca match with the diagonal ball to rambo and that has got to be the most important aspect while playin in the double pivot.

kdb is a winger, ramires should not play as dm. josh has already had 2 years on the professional circuit and on the bench plus how do we know he is not ready. let me ask u, how old is hazard? 21 right. but we expect him to be our saviour for the forseeable future, who can say if we had put some trust in kakuta and josh, they would not have become the hottest prospects. i think many of us confuse real football with fifa manager mode in which if we play a youngster too much, his development stops, thatr is bull-shit. hazard has been a 1st team regular for 3 years. its all about getting chances but unfortunantely we dont give any.

kdb? kakuta? josh as a cam? rambo playing as a dm is not a good move because his most potent weapon is his spped to break but if we play as a dm that is nullified. also even if we do play rambo as a dm that would mean mikel/rambo/lamps/raul/romeu/and now people even want felliani or modric for 2 spots.also what about our youngsters? piazon/kakuta/josh? buyin hulk is a statement that we dont trust our youth system.

i have not seen hulk play so cant say much but rambo is more than potent and he had been improving as the season went along. it would be wrong/unfair of us to relegate him to the bench.

precisely what i have been saying since the hazard signing. we dont need hulk. every1 is worried about the depth but that is kind of over with the departure of kalouda and the signings of marin,kdb,hazard. with kakuta coming back and rambo (one of the player of the season for me) and i think every1 has forgotten about benayoun, i think we have a strong and quality bench/1st team. there were always going to be 2 ways to go after winnin the cl and almost announcin the overhaul, we could go out and buy great players or at last trust our youth to come good for us. i would choose the latter.

lets not become a madrid. they bench kaka, what can be worse. i think we have a good squad with the signings that we have done. we have a strong maybe not as strong as city or even united but a good strong squad none the less. and lets not forget what a very strong squad can do, it can break the team. and we, more than any other bunch of fans in the world know how important it is to have a good squad atmosphere (pre and post avb period). hulk might be a great player but have a feeling he might not be a good signin now.

if we want a striker then cisse or ba or even dempsey would do and they would cost a 3rd of hulk. no point of spendin 30m on him just as a back up plan. does not make sense to me.

right about kdb but i think lukaku has shown he has what it takes to play for us and would probably benefit more playing here as our 3rd striker (1st for carling cup and easy games in fa and probably even cl group stages) and 2nd in case of an injury to either sturridge or torres.their was no depth in our squad because the players were not good enough but we have already changed that have not we?hazard and marin for kalou and malouda is an awesome deal. now suppose we have the tottenha-barca-arsenal-barca thing again, we can easily play torres lukaku hazard mata rambo sturridge marin piazon which would definitely be an upgrade even without hulk. i just dont want us to spend a 30mil to come and sit on the bench or even push rambo on it. also we have a good pool of youngsters comin like piazon,kakuta,lalkovic.

lukaku? plus sturridge to rotate with torres and hulk would mean permanently benched. also rambo is best when playin on wings or atleast as a rm or lm rather than cdm. considering we keep our shape of 4-2-3-1, their will be just 2 spots for rambo. i dont want to see one of our best player of the season to be relegated on the bench.
