in the long run, maybe... but how many of us would have accepted 2 home losses in 3 days to united specially after the whole united match fiasco at the bridge... sometimes decisions have to be made for the people and the fans or just have to be made by the heart rather than the head... rdm did what was needed at that moment... btw it is unfair to call them "reserves"'... there is one hell of a difference between reserves and ""squad players""... hernandez, welbeck, rafael, lindegaard, fletcher, nani (until last season) are far more than just reserves....

thats a little harsh... the manu game was a revenge game... 2 consecutive home losses to united would have been bad... most of the chelsea fans in the world would have wanted us to start with a strong team but we still gave starts to piazon, azpi, moses (both of them were not in the 1st team players then), romeu and bertrand... plus caliing the united team "reserves" is an understatement... except for their cbs (keane and wooton) the rest are in and out of the team continously. i mean calling chicha, welbeck flanked with giggs and nani with fletcher and anderson in the mid is barely a team to be called "'reserves""...

hearing rumors of ZOLA getting the job...
-
well this is the difference that has come after being just 2 months under fsw. just 2 months ago oscar was ""THE MAN"" for the job and tipped to be the replacement for lamps and now suddenly he has changed into an overrated brazilian. for me oscar is a good player very much ""ready"" for chelsea. i dont what is wrong with this club because no youth player ever seems to be ""ready"" for it. dont forget that this was the same guy which fit in perfectly for the first 10 or so matches of the season. oscar is defintely not playing the same football he was playing under rdm. under rdm he was far more confident than what he looks at this moment. his runs have stopped and their is far too much aggression than he had under rdm. it is quite obvious that he is not a winger but fsw's persistence of playing him there is not helping him. if fsw wants a hardworking winger he could have put rambo their with oscar in the pivot. as for his only pl goal, it was a penalty so i dont think thats somethin to hoot about.

such a talent being wasted... good going rafa...
-
a draw in my opinion. rafa will go defensive i feel. we would probably line up this way cech azpi iva JT cole luiz lamps hazard mata bert BA get a draw and we will still have a 4 point lead over arsenal (if they win their remaining match). JUST DONT LOSE THIS MATCH. PLEASE>>>>

qpr flash back..

glad to hear that...

some1 who has this opinion is not worth arguing and wasting my time with. as fas as today is concerned what did u expect after what has happened in the last 2 home games. do u think he would have taken a chance of starting with torres and hearing 42,000 people boo him and his blonde whore when we would have been losing... plus i dont know why we are praising rafa for today's match selection. he has put a strong team with the intention of winning, and that is the job of a manager (the primary one). any1 with an ounce of brain and footballing knowledge could have put this team on the pitch, or are we just going to write his name in golden letters every time he does the right thing by dropping a useless and past his prime player (torres) for one who can help us win a match(BA)?
-
so then dont make him the reason we are winning. what sense does this make? if we lose its because the players screwed up but if we win then it was because of rafa's mind-blowing and out of the world tactics.
-
first of all the losses were barely when "he had inherited the team"... i m not talking about the fulham game where this "excuse" might work... secondly, for converting of chances, do u actually believe we dint deserve to win the wba game or the liverpool draw or did we deserve to lose the game to united which started the ""slump"" and what if hazard and mata had taken their one on one chances against the juve... so lets not go into the debate of what might have happened if we had taken our chances. both qpr and swansea games were for a major part his mistake, for uneccesarily resting mata and hazard for the first one when the next match was an fa cup match and not making changes sooner even though we were trailing since 38th minute in the swansea match.
-
very true because losing to teams like juve and shakhtar (away) is far far worse than losing to qpr and swansea at home... right?
