there was a period of time when the commentators said "torres shoot and its a goal". then there was a period of time when the commentators said "torres shoots but he has missed an open goal". now the commentators say "torres tries to shoot and the ball has ,expectedly, gone for a throw in"...

the only good thing about this match was that it was an early kick off otherwise i would have to have watch this match till 3.30 in the morning. anyways some pointers - 1. hazard should have had atleast one or maybe 2 assists in the 1st ten minutes of the game itself if we had any other striker in the world. i mean it. any other. one who barely plays professional football. i mean there was a 10 metre gap between the center halves with hazard cutting in and torres was hiding behind one of them. 2. marin is abysmal. cut in, cut in and cut in some more. he is showing the reason y both rdm and rafa prefer bert on the wings in an epl match rather this selfish player. 3. oscar's best position is cam. end of story. 4. we need fresh legs in the mid. during the end of the match i think even ramires was tired. i dont know how "fresh" mikel would be, but i ll take anythin and any1 right now. 5. TORRES SHOULD STOP PLAYING FOOTBALL.

forget for once that lamps is 35 going to be 36 next year. just answer one question, is he or is he not our best midfielder right now? game in and game out he is showing that their is a lot left of him. he is showing that he can do more than just be a super sub worth 100k+ a week. we click with him.resigning lamps IS as important as buying a deep lying playmaker.

age is an important number. i can understand why some club would be trying to get rid of a 35 year old box to box midfielder but this is , as you said, FRANK fucking LAMPARD... time and again he has shown that he has still got what it takes to be counted not only as the best in the CHELSEA team but best all over the world. losing someone like him would be a catastrophe to the club.

i dont understand any other possible better way in which a player can actually show a club and its board and its owner that he deserves a contract. the point is not if RDM was an average manager or a world class manager... the point was, did he work for chelsea? and the answer for me will always be YES. he was not given a proper chance and was sacked at the first sight of a slump. u cant sack a manager for 8 bad matches which were 2 against united, 2 against shakhtar, i against juve , i against pool and away games to swansea and west brom both of whom were playing good at that moment. RDM dont deserve the sack at that point and i am shocked that rafa hasnt got sacked at this point.

mata's moment of magic gave us the lead and at that point of time we were looking real good. then torres got the ball at his feet and gave it away as a bithday present. cisse got the ball in newcastle's own half but terry for stupid personal reaon (cisse put an elbow to JT's face) tried to slide in and intercept but missed it leaing us completely naked. iva was standing out of position and it was 1 (cahill) on 3. so that is how newcastle got their 2nd. for that moment onward newcastle continued the momentum. with looking far more dangerous than us. our great manager, the "master tactician" made some great tactical changes and substitutions (oh wait) no he dint. he still kept bertrand on the pitch while an option of benayoun and marin was available hence settling for a draw and not going for a win. in the last minutes taylor made a run into our box with iva backing off him. then taylor just laid it to sissoko at the edge of the box who drove it low to fuck my life. so there u have it.

its the type of fixtures we have... our last 6 games are tot,liv,swansea,manu,villa,everton. these games (against newcastle,reading,south) are must wins games for us. we cant win a game right now forget about going on a winning streak. the only reason we are even 3rd is because we had an amazing start to the season when we had 22 points in 8 games. take it out we got 24 points in 17 games (can u believe that!!!!)... if this continues there is no way we would be able to finish 4th.
