  1. did i say its enough to change positions or "TO MAKE SUITABLE ADJUSTMENTS".. plus if oscar if so un-flexible that he cant perform against teams like sunderlamd on the wings then whats the point of such a player. (which i feel is total BS because if we he is fresh into the next season and made to play on the wings he would do a good eniugh job). for heaven's sake dint bertrand do the job, was not ramo used on the wings. or is it the first time in the history of football that a player is bein g played out of position to suit the needs of the team??? are u serious??? people here want oscar to play in the pivot so by your logic we should not expect any tackles from oscar as he is so lean. also what is next? josh is a cm but due to his physique we wont expect him to do anything. or for that matter LAHM who is one of the most dimunitive footballers i ve seen but defends crosses and what not. is u dont see a problem in oscar's attitude after the sunderland and the kazan game amd not to forget the southampton fiasco and the united nightmare, then there is no point of this debate because u have already made up your mind no matter what i say. also i would advice growing up to you because one joke is funny once only. repeatedly saying "watching the 240p streams" is just embarassing urself because it shown u got nothing more, also i watch my games on a big flat screen tv and not a 13 inch lappy with a crappy internet feed and a closed "oscar" oriented mind but a chelsea oriented mind.
  2. 20mil down the drain for me... should have been used to buy a proper dm. would have been great if we would have trusted in lukaku and de bruyne to fill in the striker and cam cum winger position for the next season.
  3. the point is do u need quality crossers. i mean look at united. they just keep putting the ball into the box resulting in own goals, deflected goals, poor clearances resulting into goals and what not. mean while more than 50% of our intended crosses are blocked by the first man and most of the rest are over hit and there are only 1-2 that make it thru in the whole match which are not enough to hassle a defence into making a mistake.
  4. better than watching football wearing oscar tinted glasses...
  5. no one is saying that mata dint have a poor game but oscar was awful too. he is been playing on the wings since FSW took over and that is november. 4 months should be more than enough for him to make the apt and suitable adjustments in his games and especially show some character in such a big game. i totally agree that he was good when playing in the pivot. but that does not give us any solutions to our current predicament. oscar cant play as a DM even if our only option there is MIKEL. he seems so fatigued i seriously doubt if he can play in the box to box role and do as good as rambo in that role. which leaves him behind the striker. that position is fixed for mata and justifiably. plus sending mata on the wing would be going down the same road as RDM's where iva was exposed thoroughly due to absolutely no cover from the winger. so the point is if oscar fits our current system with his current limitations specially since we have a more than good replacement in moses.
  6. accepted he was not the man of the match but their is only so much he can do. the bayern match was a poor showing by the whole team and till the 87th minute even DD was no threat. our main threat was mata who saw most of the ball we had and tried to create something out of absolute nothin. plus in the barca match if you say kalou had a good performance but not mata. mata played his part as a defensive winger as much as kalou. just because he was not involved in a goal does not make his performance bad.
  7. this is the first time we have given RB a true run-out. forget about his one game in a month phase because most of the time players are hardly match fit when that happens. the last 3 matches he has shown he has the quality in him to be more than a squad player. he has taken a run that would make cole and evra proud, he has crossed the ball more number of times than cole did this whole season, and he has defended really really well. plus i dont see the problem of 7/10 performances. i mean PF was never a 9/10 guy. yet he was a major part of a season in which we conceded what 15 goals overall. the point is RB is showing he has what it takes to be a good LB. but people discarding him as average and no more than a squad players after the performances he has put given that this is his first real long stint in the team, is really disappointing.
  8. the exact problem with the fans. unless their is media hype surrounding the player saying that the player is the next pele or zidane or beckenbauer, then the player just is not good enough to make the cut. laughable.
  9. what??? let me exactly what is mata expected to do when the possession starts read 75-25 to the other team. he is a player who thrives when the ball is with his team or on his feet. against bayern mata had atleast 2 players around him (bastian + one of the cbs) every time chelsea had the ball. against barca he had 9 touches in all of 120 minutes of football and chelsea in general wanted to just sit back and defend. plus dont forget it was mata who took the cross in the final for DDs goal. how can u say that these 3 were his worst games is simply beyond me.
  10. even mikel had a 85% pass completion, does that make him better than mata statistically.
  11. the only option that makes sense is BOARD. how many of us here knew that torres and sturridge as our only striking options would be a failure. still the board dint buy any strikers. loaning essien and selling meireles while having 4-5 players with absolutely no epl experience was always going to be difficult. the mid is arguably the most important area of the pitch and for the 2 positions of the pivot we had 4 players mikel, lamps, rambo, romeu. with absolutely no back up. chelsea were in 7 competitions in the start of the season and a team like chelsea should always be aiming for all the trophies they are playing for that is about 65-70 matches in the season or atleast 60 matches anyways yet we went into the season with a 20 man squad which included piazon and a relegated malouda. at the 1st sight of a failure/wobble we discarded a fan favourite manager hence losing the home support to an extent which was followed up with a shocking and abysmal appointment of FSW. how can this season not be the board's fault. from the decisions in transfer market to squad selection to the management appointment, they screwed it all up.
  12. simply cant see us beating them. just hope we dont lose. get a point out of this game and steer a point clear of tottenham. also hope for everton to get a draw or a win at emirates. honestly speaking i feel both the matches will be a draw. so the 3-5 spots would look something like this arsenal 33-60 chelsea 32-59 tottenham 32-58 torres hazard mata moses lamps mikel bert luiz JT iva cech subs- turnbull, ba,marin, yossi, rambo, azpi, ake. but would love to see ba torres mata lamps mikel hazard bert luiz jt iva cech i know the latter formation would probably have fulham dominating the mid but its lamps-mikel combo anyways that means we will get our asses handed to us. dont see how azpi and rambo can start this game having played 6 in 15 days already. oscar can stay away from football for as long as it takes him to give a crap about the team.
  13. cant hold the ball. cant dodge past players on the wings. cant cross. plus the worst attitude i have seen in any young player for chelsea. HOPELESS.
  14. first half - horrendous... second half - good fight.. mikel was awful, oscar sucks... we have no squad to relieve MAZA... season's over for me..
  15. norwich scored.... i repeat NORWICH SCORED!!!
  16. blown totally out of proportion... it was an argument... every1 has it....
  17. i know. its just that, even we would be without our frontline ideally for this match. otherwise we would have to play mata and or hazard every game.any ways done and dusted now. u got your wish.
  18. the same that we would have to or atleast WANT to do...
  19. my preference order would be 1. fene 2.basel 3.benefica but considering all the shit that has happened in the season, u just know we ll get benefica.
  20. first of all no need to get snippy (MR. genious). if u want a discussion/debate i will give u one but let it be clean. all of us have different opinions and there is no need to ridicule one just because it is different from yours. secondly, obviously there is a big difference in oscar that played under rdm (centrally) and the one playing under FSW (as a winger). but read my comment again. do i complain more about his performances or his attitude. if its not clear from the 1st comment its his attitude that bothers me. his performances have been dropping consistently and there can be a number of factors contributing to it (played on the wing, fatigue, over-exposed) but lately i have felt a lack of passion from him. ps - accepted he has struggled on the wings, but i still feel his 2 worst performances have been when he played centrally (against qpr at home and southampton away) when both mata and hazard dint start.
  21. the one great thing about torres apparently "BACK" is that we might that some cash out of it at the end of the season. there are and should be no "ifs" here. he has to leave and will leave for his own sake and for CHELSEA's.
  22. i can see his going the "josh-way" if we dont change our revolving door policy for managers. we will loan him out for a couple of seasons and when he turns 20, we ll end up saying "not good enough" and shipped to hamburg. a lot of chelsea and this guy's future depends on roman's actions. as for his performance, thought he was good in the deeper role but was found wanted in the 2nd half when mikel became our cdm. he literally seemed to be chasing ghosts on the pitch.
