okay here's my ideal squad for next season - goalkeepers - CECH, blackman, backup goalie. = 3 defenders - azpi, kalas(rbs), iva, JT, cahill. luiz (cbs), cole , bert (lbs) = 8 midfielders (PIVOT) - rambo, lamps, romeu, essien(mou is never goin to let him go so instead just sell mikel), WITSEL = 5 (FRONT 3) - MAZACAR, kdb, moses, schurlle = 6 strikers - ba, LEWANDOWSKI = 2 thats 24 players + probably have lukaku as a backup too. u have a great bench, insured on injuries, rotate the squad and still put a decent team and i think we have a back up too, for eg - if we have a couple of injuries in the mid. now lets take into account what u r saying - is 4 strikers. that means a player from the mid will have to be sacrificed. meaning again more stress on just a particular group of people (normally its mazacar) for us. rather than having torres watch us from the stands while earning 200kpw, ship him off to any club that wants him and get a replacement for the mid.

the transfer window is yet to start. y are we assuming torres would stay? there are already rumors about rafa+torres to napoli and i for one belive that jose would never go with torres as his 1st, 2nd, 3rd or even 4th striker. so we have a situation of lewandowski (i would prefer him over cavani and definitely over falcao) + BA and maybe lukaku. so that means we are going to have BA on our bench which is a very decent deal.also a bench of BA, kdb, lamps,moses, iva, cahill, backup goalie to a starting eleven of cech; azpi, luiz, JT, cole; rambo, witsel/moutinho; mazacar; lewa will probably be good enough to challenge any team in the world. as for your 4 strikers for 1 striker system goes, please tell me how is that supposed to work? lets not take into the question the very possible and probable problems that the playing time might cause but do tell me about the rest of the squad and how you would shape it? it would be folly...

thats OTT dude... we need 2 strikers for a one striker system. maybe have lukaku as a backup/supersub but 4 strikers is suicide. simply destroys the squad harmony . also with 4 strikers for 1 striker system + 3 GOAL KEEPERS + 8 DEFENDERS = 15 players. so for the rest 6 midfield position we have only 10 options. thats just insane. also dont forget that if we have injury issues, moses can play as a striker, our almost done signing schurlle can chip in too. but 4 strikers in possibly the worst thing mou can do, and i m pretty sure we ll start the season with half the numbers that u actually want.

i seriously doubt that. the club(RM) have confirmed that jose wont be there manager from JUNE1. if jose signs a contract with us saying he will be CFC manager from JUNE2 and we announce it in this way, i dont see anything wrong. ther is no point of ethics here. dint bayern-borussia make a transfer concerning gotze? that dint stop him from playing for them. man united confirmed MOYES to be their manager before the season ended and there was nothing wrong in that.

precisely. how does buying khedira solve chelsea's current problems is beyond me. for me the team first team should be cech azpi luiz JT/cahill cole rambo PROPER DM MAZACAR BA lampard, essien (lets be serious, he is not leaving because of jose) and oriol/mikel are enough of back up. even luiz can chip in if we are hit by a series of injuries. we need to sell mikel, buy someone like WITSEL/VIDAL for the midfield. also there is no need of buying some1 like rambo. his greatest attribute is his stamina. he can easily play 45-50 games a season and still be up for the next game the next day and u know what he ll be the only guy running on the pitch in the 90th minute leading to a counter. hence, khedira is not needed or better put, he is not the player to solve our problems right now.

we had 2 problems this season. the pivot and the striker position. i dont think your squad solves any of the 2 problems.

so now its wrong to get excited about a 20 year old who was the 6th/7th top scorer in PL playing for a mid table team and who played almost half the minutes compared to the players with more goals than him. some comments here are atrocious.

the thread is good, the voting is bad. need to have a multiple option thing. anyways lukaku and KDB for me for the next season. we gave lukaku a chance to prove himself in PL, and what a way to do that. now he deserves a fair oppurtunity at chelsea under the best manager in the world. seriously cant see it going bad. as for KDB, he too needs to be given a place in the squad. with just MAZACAR and moses for the front 3, we were found wanting this seasom. need some1 with quality to relieve the pressure off these guys. and kdb seems just the person to do that. also our management need to take a decision on CECH. he is without a doubt still world class but i dont know how many more seasons we can simply keep loaning courtouis out to other teams.

no one is saying that crap. the only thing people are saying is that he is a much better option than torres. also lukaku is a chelsea player. what is the point of loaning out a player who can score a hat-trick against man united or score 17 league goals in less than half the minutes required by our current striker. plus we have all already seen what magic mou created with another BIG-HULKING striker the first time around, so we just wanna see an encore.
