  1. lukaku, sturridge as our strikers compared to lukaku, ba and torres would have given us so much more confidence.
  2. sigh: some people just dont understand. its like knocking your head on the wall. not worth it.
  3. so a person who got what 3-5 (i seriously doubt if it was even 3) starts in half a season was worse than some1 who was absolutely hopeless and was still started. and we wont take into consideration the fact that sturridge needed match time, match fitness, a little trust from the management (and voila see what he is doing at pool when given the no.1 striker role, just scored an awesome long ranger). also when did we play blackburn last season. what u mean is wba away where sturridge started on the right wing while torres started as CF. after 60 mins of hopelessly playing walking dead on the pitch, torres was taking off for mata and sturridge was pushed center. then he had 3 one on one and all of them had a big role by sturridge's own movement, the word which is no longer in the person who you are calling our best striker's dictionary. so no, that was not the time any1 realised that sturridge was no.2. infact even rdm dropped torres for the juve match after realising how hopeless he is, but unfortunately FSW came along that was the end of sturridge's chelsea career. (i seriously dont know what u meant by blackburn away, the only blackburn game i do remember is our last home game in 2011-12 but i have gone on a limb here). i wanted to construct a post last night itself but i simply dint think that yours was one which deserved so much time and attention since it was that bad, hence the comedic effect. to say we knew at the START of the last season that torres was our best striker is wrong on so many levels. the only thing we knew was that we let go off DD to give torres a real shot at the no.1 striker, loaned out lukaku, and dint buy a WC striker so that torres dint feel threatened. we all knew that sturridge is/was a better striker than torres but simply shot ourselves in the leg by the blind faith in torres. and that is the fact. as for DD, i would like to discuss that in person (or rather not in public) as it would be a loooooooonnnnngggg discussion.
  4. i rest my case. this is what i have been saying. u can definitely judge how good a player is based on what they have done in their career but that does not AND should not guarantee them a start. otherwise LAMPS would be our starter no matter what. so thats one pathetic argument of yours and one of the main points i have been trying to get across to you. by my logic a player should not be judged and hyped/exaggerated to infinite limits unless he has actually atleast played in our shirt and in our system. so as i see, the only sensible part of your post is what i have been saying all the time (and to make it even more clear to you i have increased the font and made it bold). CONCLUSION - moses is in better form. he has put in better performances and if it was not for the international friendlies, i am sure jose would have had a toush decision to decide between moses and kdb, which is what i am trying to argue about since you so confidently said that "there is no way moses starts over kdb-oscar-hazard" in your first post. so there you have it.
  5. coming from some1 who thinks we dont need rooney.also when i have been repeatedly insisting upon a player's performance in CHELSEA BLUE JERSEY, CHELSEA BLUE JERSEY, CHELSEA BLUE JERSEY and then i get a counter argument of exactly all kdb has ever done in his life and over a year and blah blah blah. talk about a weak argument. also i seriously dont NEED to worry.
  6. hahahaha... hilarious one dude... we dont need rooney in the transfer thread and now this post... you crack me up. i have said all i wanted to say in the previous posts. seriously dont like to go and argue in circles with no actual outcome. unlike u i am very realistic about the players and what they ca acheive, so i see no point in continuing this.
  7. well lets agree to disagree there. i feel mancs are a disaster waiting to happen. u do know the difference between time to settle and actually struggle is, right? again never said moses was a BETTER player. when i asked "HOW", it was for me to get my point across that kdb is yet to play in chelsea blue and none of us no how good he would be for the team, so stop hyping/exaggerating him. all i have been saying is form and performances should be given preferences to name, potential and talent (which would make it clear to an infant who i think a better player is).
  8. we came 6th the season mata joined us.. no one expected us to be the PL champs in those season. right now we are the favourites and its our PL to lose. the margin of error has reduced drastically/exponentially. azpi's first start was in COC if i am not mistaken and was barely used by rdm in the first 3 months - so YES, he needed time to settle. as for michu, hahaha, lets see what he does this season. also players like malouda, rvp, henry + majority of the ones who have played in PL would like to add something to this.
  9. no one with the first name of fernando or with the last name of torres should ever be signed by us again no matter what.
  10. hard working torres - i am sure only a BLIND RAT that has watched our matches would say that. hard-working and torres, blind and watched - paradox of paradoxes.
  11. why is it a bad example? and did u even read my post? did i deny kdb potential? did i say moses is a better player anywhere in our 5-6 post discussion. all i said was kdb will need time to adjust to PL JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER PLAYER IN THE WORLD. u cant expect him to simply fit into the system. and (god forbid) if he does not stand upto his potential it will be people like you who are exaggerating kdb to a limit, who will be the most disappointed.
  12. sheva was an awesome player for milan and ukraine but was not half the player for chelsea as for them. as i said before - reserve your judgement on him till he actually plays a professional match for chelsea. also as i said before, the team should be decided on form and performance, not on talent and potential. no one is denying kdb's potential but lets not jump the gun with him. i am sure he will need time to settle to PL's pace and physicality just like anyother player in the world. with people expecting miracles every time he would touch the ball, a lot of us might be disappointed with the reality.
  13. not at all but i would like the criticism to be well-distributed and most importanty it should be just. do u mean to say there is absolutely no favouritism and scape-goating on here. for eg- if moses had had a pre-season like the one schurlle has had, i can bet everything i have got that 90% of the forum would have said - SELL HIM or NOT CHELSEA MATERIAL. kalas makes tons of mistakes but "he still has had a decent pre-season" or "look at him athletism, he is our most athletic defender", cahill makes one and that too against scotland, every1 loses their mind. and lets not get into the amount of BS and unjust criticism that players like kalou and mikel have got over the years. every defeat/ lost point would have people ripping into them for no reason whatsoever.
  14. in the asian part of the tour - yes he was our best player. in the us tour - moses was our best player. kdb is a better player than moses - HOW? he is yet to play a professional match in the chelsea blue. lets reserve our judgement on him till he plays atleast 90 mins.
  15. kalou then sturridge then moses and now cahill. if none of the normal ones are available, we have our ever-green debatable player in mikel.
  16. hard-working TORRES - perfect example of a paradox...
  17. then i simply dont understand why some1 like moses should/would even bother try playing good and impressing the boss if "no way he would play in front of KDB in my opinion" this is the attitude adopted by a manager. the pre-season performances should mean something especially if some1 has been exceptional, because i simply dont see any other way for a squad/fringe player like moses to fight for a 1st team spot. a player's performance should precede his name. if moses does not start tomorrow i hope its only because of his international friendly commitment and nothing else. (for his own sake).
  18. it was a reply to someone saying that moses dint deserve to start ahead of kdb-oscar-hazard.
  19. nope, no exaggeration. the asia tour was more about getting back fitness. none of the players needed to or had to come out of the 2nd gear. even though the US part should be treated the same as the asian part of the pre-season, i feel that is where the performances should count. i mean in the RM match we got to know that DL was a necessity now, or the roma match showed us exactly how pathetic torres is. so i feel there is no exagerration in saying the moses was our best player in pre-season.
  20. sorry but i dont believe that. moses was our BEST player in the pre-season and deserves a start in the first match. i am sure jose is a performance based coach rather than one who already has his teamsheets jotted down, no matter what. so at this moment, based on the pre-season and current form moses should be starting ahead of kdb on the right wing moses - oscar - hazard.
  21. moses should be starting this match. i will be gutted if he misses out due to the bloody stupid friendlies and all.
  22. oh my god!!1 this guy again... 200 pages of BS - thats the only thing that is going to come out of it.
