  1. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now get another, please... for fuck's sake... please...
  2. out - essien in- oscar. will just come back to watch the 2nd half. this is just depressing.
  3. laughable 11 minutes!!! essien is probably the only player who has looked good... what a shame!!!
  4. now even mata makes a poor pass... wtf!!! dint they do their warm-up???
  5. city will beat barca if they draw them. only thing is pelegrini should get his tactics right!!!
  6. still feel pool vs everton was a better match but yes this match is right there too.
  7. people expecting 4-0s and 5-0s are in for a BIG suprise,
  8. WTF LINE-UP??? did schurrle have an affair with jose's wife or somethin... the minimum he deserved was a couple of continous starts.
  9. ba for 12-13mil, add one of essien/mikel to that too and buy sven bender with that money... please...
  10. now i can safely say that u r not getting my point. mikel's performances this season have been so average that that i feel even romeu/chalobah could have filled his shoes. his and lamps performances coupled with mvg's season long injury have almost made it compulsory for us to go out and buy a DM. let me try anothr way, do u think chelsea should buy a DM this winter. as u r a chelsea fan, i would guess your answer is YES. lets say we buy sven bender. now our pivot options would be sven, rambo, lamps and mikel. and i can safely assume that mikel will be the 4th option, a job which can very well be done by chalobah when he comes back from his loan spell.
  11. double standards!!! what double standards??? agains i would simply go back to a previous point of simply having a peak at the FL thread and see how many people have critisized him and asked for lamps to simply retire and never play football again. but to be honest, i would expect a few poor performances creeping into lamps game when he is playing 3 games a week at the age of 35 years. on the other hand, mikel is 26, prime of his career, peak of his physical fitness, and yet if this is the best he can do then i am sorry, we deserve better. honestly, i cant see the difference in keeping chalobah/romeu instead of him, i am sure they would be capable of giving those 6-7/10 consistent performances too but unfortunately we need much more than that from the only recognized DM in our squad.
  12. he has been consistently average in almost every game until last night. the level of at which mikel is "consistently" playig is not the level that is expected of our players, and the fact that he is being displaced by a 35 year old lamps at his own game, for his own spot goes on to say a lot. and please dont use this "mikel get the stick for no reason" thing. have a look at the FL thread. look at people having a go at him. people here (except for phil, obviously) have given mikel the benefit of the doubt plenty of times before but he has almost always failed to deliver.
  13. but it does leave us with a big conundrum. lets have a look at our pivot options rambo lamps essien mikel mvg. mvg is gone for sure till the end of the season. essien is finished and should not even be considered for cup ties as they are better used in ake/chalobah's development. that leaves us with only 3 options and if we buy a DM,lets say we buy sven bender, this has to be a straight forward and clear as a crystal indication to mikel that his chelsea career is over. which means, he will leave. that effectively leaves us with just rambo-lamps pivot to be played in the CL no matter what. not a situation we would want ourselves to be in.
  14. please dont. would be a great favor to the 2 of us.
  15. consistent in what dude?? giving 6/10 performances!!! i know you are a mikel fan but give credit where its due. ramires has been one of our POTY so far. only players i can think ahead of him would be oscar and probably hazard. he has consistently been giving 8/10 performances and even on a bad day he makes most of it up thru his running and tackling. to compare rambo's performances this season to that put up by mikel and to say that mikel has been more consistent, is nothing short of blashpemy for me!!!
  16. i just hope rambo is not a member of this forum and never reads this cos he would just end up killing himself.
  17. why the hell is the smiley which depicts a person hitting his head on the wall, not available to me. cos this situation is exactly like that. what have i been saying??? we line up as 4-2-3-1 but considering at what happens on the pitch we change to 4-3-3. there have been many matches where we have remained 4-2-3-1 or even gone to 4-1-4-1 when in attack mode. but it still does not change the FACT that we line up as 4-2-3-1. that is our base formation. players thruout 90 minutes do not maintain the same position. this is not foosball where the plastic players are pretty much hinged and cant move. so for the last time, our base formation is 4-2-3-1, which can become 4-1-4-1 or 4-3-3 according to the situation in the match. its like talking to a child.
  18. u know, u r treading down a dangerous road. lets just leave it at "luiz was great last night, and i hope he continues this for chelsea's sake".
