This match is as important as the match in 3 days' time. Hazard and azpi have been our 2 best performers of the season. "Resting" them for a match of this stature will be idiotic. Specially when at this moment we need a good performance to boost the morale of the squad, more than resting our best players and putting in a second string team and losing the match and any chnace of a title. You do realize that we are playing STOKE CITY and not some semi pro team. Stoke have already beaten arsenal, chelsea, united and drawn with city this season. We lost a match to them at the brittania this season and we were barely able to beat them in the domestic cup. Seriously???!!! In 2007-08 we were one of the best squads in the world. It was a 2 horse race in PL and the CL was dominated by PL teams showing the class of the squads. We had players in their prime. Players like essien, makelele, JT, DD, FL, Ballack, cole etc. These players could literally WALK into any team in the world. ANY BLOODY TEAM. Tell me how many of iva, JT, gc, azpi, luiz, rambo, oscar, willian, hazard, torres could get into the first 11 of bayern, barca, RM or even psg. Or even man city for that matter. Agree with a lot of what u said. But as u said, jose questioned the character of the players, does not wanting to play and prove that he is good enough fall in that category. When your team starts a qf in CL without a recongized striker not as a tactical ploy but cos your strikers suck to that degree, you know what the main problem is.
