I appreciate Roman and all he's done for the club, I can't be more thankful but that unfortunately not the point. Does he really TRUELY love the club? In my opinion, no. If he did, he was care about the fans/legends/history and ethics of our club. It's of my opinion that for Roman Chelsea has just become his rich toy - and thus we are left as just puppets for his empire. I can see why you'd be so passionate about him and I can sympathise but Mourinho was a big blow which took a lot of time and proved wrong - Ancelotti also. Then there was AVB with the seeming stability with him cut short, lucky that led us to RDM and now... After getting that long target CL (and an FA Cup), making a blistering start to the season, still in contention for all the major cups, and he has a manager who has finally in my opinion started to fill the shoes of Jose and is a club legend who the fans love and players respect he now rids of him after 5 disappointing games. Now the games were not even THAT bad: United - we were absolutely robbed Swansea - hard place to go, not a great result but a draw isn't terrible at all. Liverpool - our bogey team, were much the better team and again a draw isn't a bad result. West Brom - unlucky to be honest, bad result but one that can be over looked we were much the better team Juve - a team that's lost twice in 18 months away from home.. not a lot more needs to be said. RDM was a fantastic manager, made great transfers, had a good team policy, played good football and had fans and players respect and Roman and his boys have shunned him just to play around more with their Chelsea team. Once again, I'm grateful for Roman's fortunes and what they've gave us but if it was up to me I'd much rather be that 5th/6th place team with a huge amount of dignity and respect then be taken for a fool by our owner and being the laughing stock of world football.

And who's to say they can't be involved? It's a matter that effects all Chelsea fans. I know it's unlikely but I really do think a protest/boycott is needed NOW or we're gonna go on like this for God knows how many years. This has to be the final straw.
-
I think him and his bumboys have quite clearly proven that they don't give a fuck about us. The only time they'll care is when it starts hurting their pockets - i.e. boycott games/merchandise/replica. Extreme? Maybe, Effective? Certainly.
-
To be honest mate, no attack but that's bullshit. It probably makes you more of a fan for stop supporting the club now rather than seeing the team we love just become a joke. Continuing to support the club now would just be out of possibility of success for most people and roots/ethics/history/tradition/identity of the club has just be eradicated by this joke of a board. Not saying if I'm going to quit supporting, but it's a real possibility. We all have our tolerance levels and how much can you put up with supporting a team and thus a board who are simultaneously running and ruining our club?
-
I think we really need to go on a real, proper protest against Chelsea now. We can't accept the way these self righteous pricks are simultaneously running and ruining our club.
-
Struggling to find the motivation to keep supporting this team as much as I love(d) it, this board are killing the reputation of Chelsea FC with every season that passes. We're a walking fucking joke. Fuck this.
-
Sacked this morning. Can't believe it. What the actual fuck!? Our board still manage to surprise me, how can they do this to someone who started the season well, won us the FA Cup and Champions League, has the faith of the players AND is a Chelsea legend. This would meant to be THE transition year as well - will we ever have one with this joke of a board?! Fumin'.

I'm done. This has gone on too long. Just release the guy, I don't care if he cost £50m he's not worth a shade of that. It's a disgrace that he's even wearing the Chelsea shirt and he looks like at best a Championship player. I can see literally no positives in his play and has probably got worse since last season... His link up play is terrible and can't pass a ball, his pace is never used because he's always confused on the best option, he hardly gets chances because he floats around the box and out wide rather than in a box like a striker should and when he does he messes them all up. And then he likes to complain, strop and laugh things off. No heart or desire. He's past it. Pretty much any other striker in the PL I'd happily swap for Torres. Get him out.
-
Lavezzi has no pace? I'm sorry what?!!!!!
-
statistics can be so skewed... best tackler in terms of numbers but what about accuracy? whenever I see him play he tends to foul quite a lot... 79% isn't great passing in my opinion at all it should be 90+ for a CM/CDM, otherwise it's a bad day.. and he may have won 88% of headers but you have to remember they are mainly from midfield/goal kicks and not many midfielders can out jump him! I meant in an attacking sense... I love Belgium players but Fellaini does nothing for me at all. Incredibly over-hyped. Where did you get your info/stats from by the way?
-
I agree, seriously don't understand the hype with Fellaini. Not a great tackler, passer, or good at reading the game, and for such a big guy he ain't too good at headers either! Seriously don't understand it, I think the maximum of his potential is to go somewhere like Tottenham, never a Chelsea player in my eyes.
-
okay now im confused

anyone got working links? firstrow aint up atm never mind it is now

FA Youth Cup Final - Chelsea v Blackburn
KingEssien replied to Bir_CFC's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Kane, Ake and Chalobah were all beasts!!! Blackman had a really good game too especially at the beginning. Although Piazon got 2 assists, he didn't do much, think he stuggled against the physicality of the Blackburn team. -
would like same as we did for second leg of Napoli in terms of Ramires on the left to nullify Alves' threat and either Torres or Sturridge on the right wing to really test their defence
-
I don't understand why we still have these transfer rumours open. Same shit is gonna happen that has for the last few years... the players we need most will go to a team with a MANAGER and by the time we've sorted it out we'll get the leftovers. With the exception of Mata, it's become the rule for CFC. No manager, no signings.
-
I agree with you completely and no way am saying he shouldn't be dropped. I was simply expressing my disgust at the "fans" that boo him when overall he's been one of the stand outs this season. A few games shouldn't change that, and certainly shouldn't get you booed off by your own fans.
-
It's not that, why to try make things so simplistic? It's about what's expected from you as a striker and what's expected as a winger, changing to adapt to different expectations whilst still playing the gameplay you know best takes a lot of time and experience.
-
Torres is 27, Drogba is 34, Anelka was in his 30's. They have experience of playing along the front in a lone role in all positions. Sturridge is 22, all he knows is playing as a striker, off the shoulder and shooting. You just can't compare experience.
-
But this is the point I'm making, what do you expect from a CF playing as a winger? He's gonna be selfish, deal with it, he's a striker. Malouda is a winger, he shouldn't be selfish, it makes sense. Torres chants were far before he hit the post.
-
No it doesn't. But the fact that Torres played today, and played poor and still got chants whilst Sturridge got boo's puts it in a good place to show the difference. You say any player that isn't playing well gets stick but I'm sorry you can't say that, Lampard and Torres are still chanted round the Bridge every game no matter what their performances. All I'm saying is .... Sturridge scores last week + poor game this week = booed of the field Torres scores last week + poor game this week = chants around the bridge. Don't use the "always compared to Torres" thing as a scapegoat if it's true and you can't back your argument up another way.
-
My argument wasn't on his preferred/better position, we all know it is Centre forward. It was on the basis of how poor and disgusting some of the "fans" are.
-
No, don't try to twist words at all. Comparing a players performance from 2-3 seasons ago and saying they shouldn't be criticised is pathetic, your argument is pathetic. Sturridge has only been poor since around February, NOT for 3 years, thus it is a dip in form not from becoming shit. I didn't call anyone fake fans, just frankly ridiculous. How can you expect a 22 year old striker to play on the wing week in week out and be a world class winger? He done phenomenal in the first half of the season, but has clearly struggled in the last few months. It doesn't give any fan the right to boo a player off who you all were calling our best player just a few months ago. That's a thing with a lot of these "fans" on this page, they want instant success and are attracted to names rather than performances. Torres gets his dick sucked for hitting the post and having a poor match and poor season, but Sturridge (who also scored last week) gets absolutely slated just for having a bad game, what justice is that? Don't give me this Malouda, Essien BS cos that's completely different to this Sturridge situation. I wouldn't blame Sturridge if he decided to leave, he doesn't get half the respect or support he deserves and if he did go you would all be criticising eachother for slating him.
-
Some of the fans disgust me. He's been overall one of our best players of the season. He's been asked to play LW/RW when he's a CF yet give him stick for shooting at half chances - I'm sorry isn't that what you want your strikers to do? Torres was through twice and slipped over like a bitch, what happened to him? Chants of his name at FT. It's bollocks how we treat our players, so what Torres hit a great shot? Sturridge has been far better than him this season and playing out of position and is still young, give the guy a fucking break.
