  1. I get what you're saying. I respect Rafa for what he has done to Chelsea so far and having RESPECT for someone does not make me or you any less fan like some try to indicate. We are playing more tactical football, our defense is better.. now I hope people won't start to draw comparisons that I like Rafa more than RDM because I dont, but I have respect for him regardless of what other people think who usually just want to 'howl with the wolf pack' to fit in so to say. For obvious reason it's easier to bash Rafa for every bad decision he has done and completely ignore times when he should be praised. This is life, people have popular beliefs and unpopular, just stick with your own opinion and dont let some muppet tell what's right whats not. We are all Chelsea fans and digging in old quotes wont make someone more of a fan. In my honest opinion it was wrong to sack Ancelotti, but that's history and a different story. History belongs to the past... onwards and upwards. As much as I'd like Mourinho back, I'd love to see Low in charge.
  2. The less they care the more you should look up on YouTube what to do and how to do it. Be selective, bcs not everything on there will give good advice.Just try to eat healthy, avoid fast food etc, train regularly without having any of the overtraining signs and you'll see a huge difference in 6 months, guaranteed. Off topic a bit, but I wanted to see if all this talk about people who normally would not work out come to gym after NewYear and man oh man, it was by packed Now it's getting emptier and emptier but the theory was plausible. It hurt me to see how some guys tried to use huge weights and do something with it.. eg. someone tried to do lat pull downs and chose to use almost all the weight you can apply, couldn't even move the bar while hanging by it.. same goes for people who do bicep curls or tricep curls on the machines with cables, trying to pull the sucker up or push it down with brute bodyweight while not incorporating any of his bicep/ tricep fibres. Seemed like they were doing involuntary pull ups.. I dont know what gets in their way, egos perhaps, because they can't seem to realise that results come with perfect form - using the muscle group you INTEND to work out - not tried to end up with hernia from pushing your guts out.
  3. Good post, mate! +1 If they meant 3 lbs of pure muscle than that impossible yes. But 3 lbs a month as total weight gain is quite achievable if you dont expect to be a bodybuilder with super low fat %. Definitely agree on the workout part, mixing it up will help you overcome the plateaus. If it feels strange to eat all sorts of capsules and supplements, making you feel like an old person, then just eating fruits (lemon for C vitamin etc) will do the trick.
  4. I don't know you personally so I cant give exact information, but lets say you're ectomorph and hopefully a bit of mesomorph. Also how old are you? Now eating a lot will make you gain weight, but mostly it's fat. So ask yourself what is your goal. If it is to pack on some muscle and gain weight by doing that then we are talking about years to get a good increase of body mass through clean bulk. What kind of workouts do you do? Are they intense etc? If you over do it, you'll get over-trained (overtraining symptoms are weakness, dizziness, aching joints/musles, feeling hot all the time, INSOMNIA, drop in performance etc...) It means you'll actually do more harm than good, you will get smaller, weaker etc bcs your body does not have enough time to recover, especially when one is just starting to work out. Now eating mass gainers and proteins aren't steroids that make you buff just like that. They are just nutrients and vital biological structural components for you body to recuperate and build. When it comes to supplements, the rule 'the more I eat them the bigger I get' does not apply. Your body will use as much as it can but excessive intake will just be taken out of your organism. Im not going to say it will DAMAGE anything in your body but your kidneys and adrenal glands take a not needed pounding. Every good thing takes time so don't expect miracles. When you accept that and set goals for yourself, it all will start coming together. It's great that you're trying to change your lifestyle and I can guarantee that once you achieve your goal, it will be amazing, so keep working hard, but smart - less is more. I like the fact that you mention that you have planned atleast 6 months ahead, shows you mean it and have dedication - truth be told, that's the only way you will get changes, it wont come overnight. On a more positive note, first 'gains' usually come very fast so that will hopefully keep you motivated. Keep it up, mate. About your question regarding weight gain - every cal of energy you eat and don't use, will be stored as fat. So if you're gaining shitloads of weight in the first month, then something is wrong. Then just adjust your food intake and keep finding that perfect balance. In theory you only need like 100-200 excessive calories than you use to gain weight. I guess gaining between 1-2 kgs (about 2-4lbs) a month is a good and healthy way to gain weight without becoming fat in the process. Depends on the person, their metabolism and well.. frame that they want to fill. A few extra kgs will not be so visible on a 7ft person than on a 5ft person. Far fetched comparison but hopefully will help to make my point. PS. I would suggest dividing that 40 grams of protein in half and consume it in 2 separate portions. Makes more sense, bcs your eating habits are OK, so you will get a lot of you needed protein anyway from your food so a lot of that 40g would go to waste. Keeps the so called protein spike stable in your body. Other than that, you're eating like a beast, hopefully this all works out for you, because in the end of the day, you know your body best. Best wishes, SinineUltra
  5. Some of the reasons brought up are plain stupid. What are a few cobwebs going to do to you? Rusty pair of scissors?
  6. So only solution - if this does pass, highly doubt though- is to build a bigger stadium / expand Stamford Bridge but not lower ticket prices just to get in revenue. I get why clubs with big stadiums and/or very low owner investment would like the idea, but it is very harsh on others and really cements the top clubs without others having a chance.
  7. Then again Marco Verratti played in Serie B before his move to PSG, so we can't write him off yet.
  8. Good managers are managers who have tactical awareness and have complete respect of his squad. They have a new pep talk for every half time and keep their men motivated on the task hand. Now that's a skill. Best example being Mourinho / SAF, who prepare their teams like they would be going to a real battlefield fighting for their lives.
  9. Do you realize you are as biased towards brazilian players as are they towards belgian players? Especially the way you worship Luiz. Talking about the pot calling the kettle black. Edit: I also believe that Mata is better than Hazard atm, but they are both very vital for our squad. The two players we always want to see in our starting line-ups before an important match. Regardless, I don't go around calling people idiots just for a simple fact that I might not share exactly the same views.
  10. It was a good tackle by Kompany, in my eyes not even a foul, let alone a red card. Man City should appeal, they stand a good chance of it being revoked than anything.
  11. Playing youngsters has never been an issue for sacking. Must have been the UCL game and results, hence the trophies. Damn shame really. (He maintained a very good win percentage during his 2 year reign - 61,47%, Mourinho and Hiddink have higher, but keep in mind Hiddink was in charge for only like 20 matches)
  12. One season without a trophy shouldn't have been a reason to sack him. He was undermined by sacking of Wilkins and death of his father. As soon as we get rid of the player power problem in the squad, we will get a manager for a longer term than we have so far.
  13. X-rated played me off the park while playing at my home ground. Good job, mate! Sinised JK 0 - 3 X-Rated
  14. Hazard is man of steel. He gets dead legs and random knocks and he gets up and smiles in the face of the culprit. Loved it!
  15. A year extension with lower wages would be an idea situation. Though then we'd face him and Terry leaving in the end of the next summer.
  16. People are ripping each other's heads off but come to think of it - isn't it great to have atleast 3 MOTM candidates and none of them being Mata for a change?
  17. He was ok. Held up the ball for time to time and did link up plays. Gave A.Cole and Lampard good chances to score, both got saved by excellent Begovic. He outmuscled Huth to have a shot at goal but Begovic saved it. Did a lot of defensive work, especially in the first half,
  18. Stats are on our side, but didn't expect a solid 4-0 win. Big thanks to Walters -feel sorry for him but- that's life. MOTM is Hazard, he was amazing. Lampard could have had a hat trick if he had scored the 2 sitters but in the end of the day could, would and should do not count - all in all good game for him, amazed how he still manages to keep his cool and dodge tackles of grim reapers' of Stoke. Luiz was very good, super interceptions etc, so was Azpilicueta. Bertrand was useless in the first half, second half he didn't caught my eye with anything negative atleast. Ba created a lovely chance for Lamps, otherwise didn't have much to work with to be fair, did a lot of defensive work in the fist half.
  19. Taking the lead so end of the half time is always great. Hopefully Bertrand can stop being useless.. he seems so scared on the pitch
  20. Very good post and points - well done mate
  21. Ancelotti did a brilliant job, sacking him was the worst managerial decision the club has ever done.
  22. --------Turnbull-------- Azpi-Cahill-Ivanovic-Cole ---Oscar-Luiz--- Hazard-Mata----Marin -----------Ba----------
  23. You've got a point, mate. But you also could realize that Sturridge's body language and actions on the pitch made him less liked my some members. So it's not all about his media image and how they are trying to depict him.
  24. I agree with you ,Henrique. I can't remember people raving about Lampard and especially Drogba a few years back. Now suddenly after they are gone/about to go, people wake up and start to worship them as irreplaceables. Seems a bit odd and hypocritical. There were threads how Drogba was not good enough, he was diving etc.
