Very poor decision by Scolari. Scolari made so many fuckups. The Brazilian side does not have the talent of the old teams but Scolari just killed them this game. There was practically no midfield the whole game.

He did have a very poor game though but I am not overly concerned. We have at Chelsea the players available to utilize his genius. We'll have Luis bombing down the left hand side to overlap and aid Hazard where Belgium played the Center Back Vertonghen ! We have Fabregas picking out his runs where they have the oaf Fellaini, who even the United fans hate ! We have Matic to link the defense to the attack. We are miles ahead and it is no wonder you see a different Hazard with us, even though he also has poor games with us.

Belgium's biggest problem was they simply could not get him involved because Argentina were defending with 10 men all game after than quick goal. Their midfield was poor with Witsel and Fellaini. You guys keep talking about runs but there were numerous times where he got into good positions but they could not pass it to him leaving him visibly frustrated !!!!

Poor game but some people make me feel embarrassed to be a Chelsea fan.

I would be very angry if we sign him. Center back is at least one position I feel where we have good youth prospects who can make a step up to the starting 11 in Zouma and Christensen

On his instagram it says "Central Midfielder" for Chelsea fc so that means he probably isn't playing the #10 role.

It was a brilliant finish from Lukaku. And that is all that really matters as a striker. Origi had two much easier chances in the game and he hit both of them straight at Howard whereas Lukaku found a goal in an impossible space. Origi is a very good player obviously but it doesn't seem like he can finish.

People only remember the good and forget all the bad regarding Mata. Mata is very good when he has the ball at this feet. However, if he doesn't it is as if you are playing with 10 men. I don't think I've ever seen a player with poorer defensive ability. Cesc will be a substantial upgrade. He does the good stuff Mata did better (through balls) but even as an average defender he is miles ahead of Mata. I think actually that it's very possible that they sold Mata having had some kind of verbal agreement with Cesc regarding his transfer here. It might never have been an Oscar vs Mata situation but rather possible that the club found themselves in a position to make an improvement one of our best players (Mata) and make a lot of money doing so. I am also very excited to see the impact Cesc has on Oscar. I am sure that it will make his job much easier as Cesc is always moving about to make passes easier for other players and is a great passer himself. As Henrique said, Cesc is also a winner. He has the mentality that a lot of our youngsters lack and is really the only barrier some of our players are facing from becoming truly world class. If he can impart some of that hunger to our youngsters then the league better watch out as I think we even though last year was an accomplishment on Mourinho's part, this team is nowhere near performing to its full potential atm.

He is played out of position. Scolari's decisions this tournament have been a mindfuck. They are going to get walloped by the first good team they come across.

Even if both Cech and Courtois go it is not a worry as we have Hilario to steady the ship.

Oscar is more suited to playing the Lampard role I think. Playing Cesc deeper and Oscar at #10 exposes the weaknesses in both of their games imo.

If we get him we still have the worst striker amongst the top European teams etc Barcelona, Bayern, Real, Utd, etc. Doesn't really change our position much in that regards and he isn't cheap or old either so we'll be stuck with him for quite a while and if things don't work out this deal is really going to hurt us.

Also as for Leonardo after his elbow he visited Ramos in hospital and was crying when he apologized. Suarez's action wasn't as severe but has shown absolutely no remorse and in fact believes there is a conspiracy against him. All the more reason to punish him if he doesn't see his faults.

Treating like a criminal ? He is a fucking criminal. He bit a person, which is assault. If he was an everyday Joe and had bit a person out in the streets for the third time right now I can guarantee that he would be getting bummed in a public jail. What is wrong with obligating him to see a psychiatrist ? He is clearly mentally ill. If I was working at an office and my coworker started biting other people I'd want the guy to be fired. If not, I'd need some assurance that the poor fucker is being treated and hence my health is not endangered every time I am in the same room with him. Every time defenders face this guy next season they better be careful turning their backs to him. If they ban him from just international competition Uruguay will just organize meaningless friendlies making the ban completely ineffective. If you have any doubt about that, consider the fact that even their president is out to meet him. It's not like there are any major international tournaments coming up anyways after this in the next few months. An international ban would be useless. As everyone else has also said before, this is the THIRD time he has done this. Seeing that a ten game suspension was in fact not enough to keep him from doing this again the ban should have in fact been larger than 4 months.

I am happy he is not going to be loaned again. Based on last season he deserves a chance irrespective of how he performs in the World Cup. I just hope however that he will shut up and let his game do the talking.

We were so close to getting Neymar as well, for substantially less than what Barcelona paid. I remember Pele came out in the media and said he shouldn't go to England. Hazard + Neymar + Modric ! It's the ones that got away that always leave me thinking of what could have been lol. On the flip side though we also missed out on duds like Robinho.

To me, he is more talented than Ronaldo, Bale and Neymar. Ronaldo is a better footballer, but Hazard is more talented. He is a kind of player whose presence on the pitch by itself alters the game, even if he isn't involved. You can't say that about those other players. They have the end product that Hazard doesn't have, but he is only 23.

In most of our supporters mind a player is either World Class or useless. There is no middle ground. Some of it is frustration from wanting a player to reach levels that are not within their capability. Oscar is not world class, he is still a very good player though and is only 22 ! He has a lot of time to improve.

You can not compare to Robben because all game Belgium struggles to even get him the ball.
