His passing and dribbling are definitely not bad. He's actually a very good dribbler for a box-to-box midfielder. Technically he's perfectly fine, but he's just lacking in intelligence/effort.
-
I trust Jose's judgment over fans of a mid-table Italian team. We'll see how good Guarin can be for Chelsea when he gets here. Sometimes you just need the right fit, especially when the player in question has problem, not in quality, but in consistency (see Sturridge at Liverpool)
-
That's been the story of our team for last few years - unconvincing against shit teams, surprisingly cool against good teams.
-
Hopefully this kid can be our Varane
-
He can be a cover for Ramires who's irreplaceable at the moment.

I was just joking hehe

Di Marzio reported that Inter would be willing to sell for 15M if it's paid in one installment. That Mata rumour is obviously a joke. It would only make sense if they were including Kovacic and Ranocchia too.

Witsel is the key player for Belgium, and the first midfielder on their team sheet. I'm sure a lot of posters here have watched Belgium play numerous times over the last couple of years, including myself. Benfica and Zenit have also played in Europe, so he's not some mysterious player. As for Ki, you wouldn't even consider him if he weren't from your own country. Played well for Swansea? Is that why he's on loan at Sunderland? Because he can't even beat out Shelvey. Played well for Celtic and Sunderland? Who the fuck cares? SPL sucks and so do Sunderland. Played well for Korea? Give me a break. WCQ in Asia is a joke. He also has a grand total of 1 game of CL experience, so you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. We would have simply kept one of Romeu, Chalobah and even Josh, if that's the kind of quality we were after. LOL at the idea of Chelsea getting a Swansea reject on a loan. Btw, Shaw is already quite strong for a fullback. AND he's only 18.
-
Why the hell would you sell Cahill? Perfectly serviceable and homegrown.
-
http://www.gianlucadimarzio.com/calciomercato/chelsea-makes-offer-for-inters-guarin/ Di Marzio's reporting it, so I'm inclined to believe it's not BS.

Here's what you do: Buy Zouma, send him and one of our current strikers out on loan to Monaco Get Falcao on loan Re-evaluate the striker situation in summer when Lukaku comes back.
-
Unless we are going to do the unthinkable and turn him into a false 9, no thanks. Max Meyer is another attacking midfielder who also happens to be a midget. NO THANKS. It's clear from Jose's interviews that we want to improve defensively and at the striker position. Draxler doesn't address either.
-
If we can get a player of Mikel's level for 4M, that's a steal.
-
I would absolutely go after Balotelli. Clear we need a goalscorer and Milan are doing horribly in Serie A
-
He's actually poor defensively. His positioning blows.
-
I know A Bola linked him to us, but is Sporting willing to sell? If so, for how much?
-
Yeah I've always felt like Lukaku talks to the media just a bit too much. It's refreshing for a young player to be available for the interview all the time, but not necessary at the same time. In the end I think the loan was a good move for his development. He's effective, but is undoubtedly still very raw.
-
Although we got good money for him, I kind of wish we just kept Meireles.
-
(Unlikely) rumor of Lukaku-Balotelli swap. Balotelli's talent is undeniable and even more impressive than Lukaku's, but the difference in maturity levels is just too significant.
-
How are those two things related? Anyway I know it will be a very unpopular answer, but I would still do it *hides*
-
Ramires and Oscar were poor too, but Lamps really needs to improve. He hasn't been the best this season
-
http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3518290/title/traore-contract-agreed He's officially ours. Question is will he be able to stay in England.
-
If we don't beat Newcastle, we don't deserve to win the league? What kind of bullshit is this? United lost to Norwich last season, City to Sunderland the year before, United to Wolves in 10-11, us to Wigan and Villa in 09-10. We won't deserve to win the league if we don't finish atop after 38 games. That's the whole reason why every team plays 38 games, ain't it?
