  1. It's pretty pointles discussion anyway because he will never be in the running for the job. Latest odds from Victor Chandler.... Redknapps odds are shortening interesting..... Guus Hiddink – 11/4Jose Mourinho – 3/1Harry Redknapp – 4/1Andre Villas-Boas – 11/2Pep Guardiola – 6/1Marco van Basten – 10/1Frank Rijkaard – 10/1Mark Hughes – 14/1Martin O’Neill – 14/1Louis van Gaal – 16/1Rafa Benitez – 16/1Didier Deschamps – 18/1
  2. Re: O Niell no-one has mentioned what he achieved at Celtic and Lecister. I know the Scottish league is crap but he won everthing every year and he made Larrson an even better player, so can manage big players. He also got Celtic to the Europa final, with the majority of the team on a very low wage where he only lost to Mourinho;s Porto..... At leciester he won the league cup and got them top 6 every year, remarkable for the players he had available. The job he did at Villa is now highlighted, got them top 6 consistantly and now they are fighting relegation with the same team plus Bent...
  3. Disagree about Moyes and O Neill - both of those r better than Carlo in my eyes. Just because they are British does not make them poor managers...
  4. There are also huge rumors that Avram Grant will be back as director of football. How will that be recieved by the fans??
  5. Agree with Moyes - very underated. Martin O neill should also be mentioned but would not work with Roman. Guardiola wont take it, Hiddink don't want it, Boas is to young. You are also missing off Jose on the list, but he wont get it. If I was putting money on it I would go for Van Basten, Hiddink is in Romans ear to give him the job but I think it would be a msitake and we would be back to square one....
  6. Sinclair is slightly different, had a loan at Wigan where he was poor. Has always done well in the championship but PL is to big a step for him. Borini on the other hand will be a hit at the top level, due to his finishing....
  7. Can the people in the know on here, start a thread where we can vote who we would like as the next manager. Carlo is surely not gonna b the manager for long, 2 many press stories for them all to be wrong...
  8. I just hope that this does not piss the board off and they do something stupid.....
  9. Is that a joke?.....Kalou aint good enough to be a regular starter.....
  10. Guys have a look at Sky Sports.com, bad noises being made by Sturridge......When the board reads this he could be on his way.....
  11. No I like it, alot of people on here won't get it but I agree.....fits in well with the queen visiting Ireland at the moment!!!!!
  12. Why only offered a 1 yr deal when Kakuta and Bruma got long term deals??
  13. Love your profile pic by the way....
  14. Realistically he would not have picked him from the start anyway. he would have a few sub apprearances to his name. Getting him out on loan was the best thing....
  15. This situation is very frustrating. Borini has tons of talent and will be a good player, Ancellotti done the right thing by getting him out on loan where he has done the business. We do not know the ins and outs of it but it appears Borini would have been willing to stay had he been offered a suitable contract. It sounds a bit funny to me, why did they offer Kakuta and Bruma long term deals but not Borini??. I think something has gone on here that we don't know about.....
  16. It will always be the same as long as Roman owns the club. However, where would we be without him??
  17. He has to play Drogba for this one....Torres does not deserve to start the game on current form...
  18. A wage of £6million a year will always attract people to the job.....
  19. At the end of the day it is the paying fans whose opinions count the most.....
  20. The powers that be will take more notice of the people in the stands because they are paying the huge ticket prices that keep the club going.
  21. If we let him go for nothing then someone needs a big kick up the arse, espcially if we end up offering Bosingwa a longer deal. What I have seen of that boy he looks the business - maybe Torres could learn off him!!
  22. Does anyone know the deal with Borini, is he definately gone this summer??
  23. Disagree, he gave the ball away against Newcastle more than any other player. That said he also played the most dangerous passes of any of the midfield players. So I guess that balances it up. I think Josh will be a great player, but he either has to play every week for us or send him out on loan. I agree he certainly is capable ability wise but stuck on the bench for a few cameos is no good for him.
  24. That would not happen with O Neill......has already managed a big club in Celtic and learn't from the master Brian Clough....
  25. I've said O Neill for ages, got Celtic to the Uefa final where they only lost to Mourinho's Porto, always done well in PL and has experience of managing big names. Moyes does a good job year in year out at Everton....I agree I think they are both better managers than Carlo but just from judging Roman's mindset since he has been here I don't think he will go for them...
