Reus and Sanchez both work tirelessly off the ball as well but the big difference is they offer 100x more than Willian in the final third... IMO he's a vital squad player and does reminds me of someone like Ji Sung Park, a player who can play in the big tactical 'chess' games but is not really a regular. Having ineffective attackers in the final third will cost us in the CL, look at Real, Barcelona and Bayern.. goals everywhere. If Hazard and Costa both have a poor game who's going to score? it wont be Oscar or Willian, thats for sure.

Matic is definitely one of the best DMs in the world, one below par game doesn't change that...

We need more goals and assists from our attacking players, Cesc, Hazard and Costa are the only ones producing the goods week in week out. Oscar and Willian are simply not effective enough in the final third and it's cosing us big time...

He's especially poor at defending, wingers go past him with such ease... he needs time to settle in i think.

His finishing has always been his weak point IMO, you can tell he's never confident of scoring when through on goal.

Willian hardly ever produces anything in the final third, i mean i appreciate his pressing and hard work off the ball but it's simply not good enough. Oscar is very hit and miss when it comes to goals/assist as well.. if Costa and Hazard goes missing we struggle to score 9 times out of 10... it's kind of worrying.

Last week we were 8 points ahead of City, this week only 3... football, a funny old game. I was actually working so missed the match, i have no idea how we played so cant really comment, lets just hope we regain our early season form soon..

majority of our players were invisible, the tempo we played at was shocking (far too slow) and the fact Sunderland defended very well. You can call it parking the bus but lets not forget our own team has done it plenty of times in the past and we praised it saying they were 'heroic' 'warriors' etc..., it was just one of those days.

Lol fair play, we know all about parking the bus so it doesn't bother me.

Bale is WC no doubt about it, cant believe some people on this thread are saying they wouldn't want him he may not have the best dribbling ability in the world but neither does Reus... these players are game changers.

Matic is still a leader on the pitch, he doesn't really need to be the most vocal.
