According to Henry Winter (daily telegraph football correspondent) our fans wasn't singing 'Jose Mourinho' it was the Birmingham fans. He also said he asked all the other reporters in the press box and they agreed.

Kalou is not as bad as some people think... He's not great but he's decent. Sturridge should be playing as a striker, sometimes it's like playing with 10 men when he's out on the wing...

I agree, even though it's hard to compare these great players.

I wouldn't say lamps is in the top five, there's been so many greats, Contona,Zola,Henry,Bergkamp,Ronaldo,Scholes and Giggs. Also Ronaldo has to be in the top 5, he just didn't score goals he had many assists, flair and skill. Maybe it's a tie between Gerrard and Lampard...

I know they were positive, like most of us, but the fact is when the going get's tough they complain and say the manager should be fired... and this was only in October. I honestly think that AVB is not a bad manager, he needs time to build his own team. This season - Our defence are prone to making mistakes (it was because of the highline, but still out defence is not the force it once was), Our midfield is not creative enough. Our wingers are not wingers...Sturridge is a striker, and for the last month or so he hasn't been playing well at all. Mata also has some on and off games, only when he is playing CAM we get to see him control games. Our strikers have been poor, Torres hasn't scored in months, and Drogba hasn't been playing much better. We need to get rid off the old, and bring in some new, young, hungry players who at least try. If we sack AVB, we probably wont get the overhaul we need, and the 'old' players will get another chance. I know we managed to finish 2nd last year, but we weren't playing much better, this time last year we were only 1 point better off.

Yes, they are. Correct about what? they just love when we're losing or going through a 'bad patch', it means they can complain and write nonsense. If we do finish below 4th, i would rather him stay, mainly because if we get a new manager the old players will probably get another season. Last season at this stage we were poor, so we cant just blame the manager, we need new players, young, talented players who care. We have so many problems with our squad, Defence prone to making errors, midfield not creative enough ( yesterday as an example, mostly side passes and/or backward passes) our wingers are not wingers... Mata should be CAM, Sturridge is a striker, at first i liked his new position (rw) but as off late, he's been so ineffective in games. Our strikers are not scoring/ playing well. Torres has been abysmal, and even though Drogba offers more he hasn't been playing much better. If we do get a new manager, i doubt we're going to get the overhaul we all want/need, a few new additions, but i doubt many will be leaving. If we keep AVB, i think we will get an overhaul, he keeps mentioning 'next years plan', and that's what we desperately need.
