Thinking about the sacking, it's just sad, looking at the first page how many people had high hopes, how some of us thought we were going into a new era... all of it's just sad. AVB deserved more time, but no point in thinking about it now. Hopefully we can just bring back Mourinho... he will get this club back into shape.

I know emotions are running high, but i still think he is a Legend. Maybe people are overreacting a bit, i'm pretty sure if we see Lampard holding up a trophy this year (unlikely but you get what i mean) many people will change there mind. Even if he was one of the reasons AVB lost his job, he is not the only reason. But i am disappointed if it's true about the way he treated AVB... it's devastating that AVB slept at the training ground some nights, he was so devoted but i guess we just have to move forward...

Good post. i don't think i will pick any manager over Jose Mourinho, i think he will change things if he comes, remember before he left he said our squad wasn't good enough and that was back in 2007, so he knows we need change. But to be honest i don't know much about Bielsa...

I think Roman and Jose have patched up there friendship, a year after Jose left, Roman bought him a Ferrari... but who knows, I've always said that if AVB got sacked i only want one man to replace him... Mourinho, i'm honestly tired of replacing mangers every season, not me literally but you get the idea

I do think most of the pundits underrate Luiz, they mostly just jump on the bandwagon... although he get's overrated here i feel, some people refuse to blame him for his mistakes, also when he had an okay game (no mistakes) people say he has a great game. Now don't get me wrong i rate him so highly, he has the potential to be great, i just think SOME people on here rate him a bit too highly.

I will be delighted if RDM plays some of the youngsters, they really deserve to play... either way i'm looking forward to this game, hopefully RDM can get us playing again.

It's a bit weird that Jose Mourinho was looking for houses in London a week ago, apparently he was meant to be in London today as well... Can you imagine Mourinho's first Press conference for us if he did come back.... one can wish.

Moyes is a better bet than anyone else on that poll, excluding Jose. Also does anyone know what's the deal with Terry and Jose? i remember when we played inter a couple of years ago Terry just ignored Jose. In Makelele's biography, Makelele said John terry couldn't work with Jose any more and handed in a transfer request... Kenyon then got rid of Jose.

Nice guy, but it still amazes me that some people think he's a World class CB, he's good but needs to improve a lot... he's at fault for many of our goals this season... he needs to improve his positioning and decision making.

I still feel sorry for the guy... i mean that daily mail article was disheartening to read, he slept at the training ground for god sake... while the players just go home after a 3-4 hour training session, they got it lucky ffs. I have no doubt he will be a great manager... he was the only manager who dropped Kalou, Malouda etc he knew that we needed wingers and a playmaker while managers in the past didn't have the slightest clue.

Moyes is a great manager, he's proved it with Everton... he has the experience and if you ask me he will do well at a top club... I think people underrate him because he's British, and not Portuguese or whatever. Sir Alex did say he wants him to replace him at Man utd. Now i would rather someone like Mourinho (obviously) but i wouldn't be against him being our manager.
