Well, although I dont feel the need to crack open the Sherry, I think its a decent appointment. Its certainly a daring one anyway, Given the fact that the guy has never managed a club side in Europe and cant speak a word of English. He certainly has a reputation that people respect and I dont think he'll take any shit off the Govan one. He must have been offered a kings ransom because he was quick in turning down the England post when he seen what the gutter press were about. I just hope he doesnt think its going to be any easier handling the press being Chelsea Manager. I'll be backing him 100%. I have one or two nagging doubts, But, after the last scrotum, It's an appointment that should certainly have a positive effect. I think Drogba will still be off, And if we sign Deco that will give Lampard the reason he's been looking for methinks. Pizzaro, Sidwell, Belletti, Malouda should all hopefully be escorted out. I know the French were poor against the Dracula XI the other day, but Malouda was beyond pony, He really, really has been a very poor signing.

Bruce Buck: Chelsea close to new manager

Aye true mate. If Its Big Phil then I'd be more than happy with that. Mind you, after Grant, I'd be happy with Steve McLaren Lingering doubt for me how close he got to the England job, then turned it down at the last moment, citing press intrusion as the reason. I only hope he is aware that the press are going to over him like a rash if he takes the Chelsea job. -

I'd be happy with Scolari to be honest. Mind you, after the charade of the last few days I'd settle for Martin Allen If Boswinga is all part of the Masterplan then how come they apparently approached Ancelloti? Hard to say really, typical Chels -

I dont particulary fancy Mancini or Rijkaard either, But If I was forced to choose it would have to be the Dutch Master Gobber. Mind you, we'll probably now get a wire through that Right Said Fred (thats Kenyon to the unaware's here) was seen in the Dorchester having a "Deep" conversation with fucking Curbishley or the like. -

I personally wouldnt mind if he fucked off now to be honest, I know it would leave us in the lurch but I had high hopes for him, But he's turning into a right 'mare. I still cant get over the decision to allow Kenyon to lead the team up to collect their medals in Moscow. I mean, For fucks sake. Man Ure send up Bobby Charlton, The Bin Dippers could send up Kenny Dalglish, The Arse could put up Liam Brady, While Chels put up........................Peter Kenyon -

If we are no clearer to finding out who the new man is then who, or what, was the reason for binning Ten Cate? Was that just done on a whim, or maybe Kenyon guessed that he might not suit the new manager?! In short, Just what the fuck is going on? Roy Keane anyone?! at least he would cause a stir. Dennis Wise? Steve Clarke? Bobby Campbell? John Hollins? -

This situation is absolutely fucking pathetic. It seems that they never even bothered to sound Hughes out. Fucking shambles once again which begs the question - Just what are Kenyon and Buck doing to justify their jobs? Why dont we just "Head Hunt" the new Southampton duo and be done? Roman and his little bunch of yes men are making a mockery of us. -

Sky Sports News understands Chelsea are in talks with the representatives of Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti. Chelsea are homing in on their new manager after sacking Avram Grant less than two weeks ago after just eight months in charge. The Premier League runners-up are understood to have narrowed down their short list for the job to two names. Blackburn Rovers manager Mark Hughes, who is also interesting Manchester City, is one of the Blues' targets to replace Grant. The other contender is an overseas coach and it appears Chelsea have made a renewed attempt to prise Ancelotti away from the San Siro. Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani revealed at the weekend that the club had turned down Chelsea's request to hold talks with Ancelotti. However, Sky Sports News understands that the Blues are meeting with Ancelotti's representatives to discuss the possibility of taking charge at Stamford Bridge. Sven Goran Eriksson, Frank Rijkaard, Guus Hiddink, Luiz Felipe Scolari and Roberto Mancini are among the names to have been linked with the Chelsea position, but it now seems to be a straight fight between Hughes and Ancelotti for the job. -
Ah, But there are long benches.................and then there the West Stand benches. Stuff of legend. Mind you, they were a bastard to throw onto the pitch

Yep, thats the cunt

The sad fact of life is that every working class supporter that gives up his season ticket will be replaced by some fucking Rupert. Then for some strange reason the clubs and TV will universally complain about the lack of atmosphere at grounds. Give me the 70's/80's any day of the week. Sometime's I even start to pine for the old benches, piles et all. Would rather that, than have to sit next to some Pimm drinking fucking Giles.

Alex Ferguson ~ A Lesson in Hypocrosy

Bang on mate. Thinking back, I cant remember once when he's accepted that we have deserved to win against them. Not once, in 22 fucking years. The pinnacle for me being in 99' when we put 5 past them, with Ernie having a wee nip at Butt and "assisting" in his sending off. Ferguson's face in the press conference after the game was a joy to behold. Even more so when they asked for his opinion on the Dennis Wise incident. -

I'm not buying into the mancini method. Inter were HUGELY fortunate because Juve had been relegated and Milan docked points, he is generally a lucky manager and, just in case, he made an ass of leicester. He may bring Zola, or Vialli in, but he would be a poor mans Jose, given the fact that Mourinho as taken his job in Italy. Which leads to on major question? Are we willing to employ a manager who is a cast off because of Jose? -

Precisely, Tevez too. Pardon the phrase, but he gets off scot free. Its fucking ridiculous. And, even worse, so very blatant. Even the BBC with MOTD have the right to get managers to comment after games. Win, lose or draw. And they all participate....except Ferguson, Yet he gets away with it. All because of a previous bust up the Alan Green (mind you, scouse cunt). Hang their collective heads in shame -

He just winds me up the older the cunt gets. I used to have a lot of time for him, especially wen Aberdeen were regulary coming down to Glasgow and horsing the Old Firm. Nowadays, he has become a bitter, spiteful and greedy old man who should fuck off and rot. Its a Pity the Coolmore duet didnt carry on with their propaganda against him a couple of years back, and had him fucked off out of Man Ure. They really were pretty close to it. They exposed his son Jason, for the amounts he was charging Man Ure for "Transfer deals", And Ferguson was bottling it big time, And all because he got greedy and well well, out of his depth regarding the "Rock of Gibraltar" champion horse. Strange that you never really hear about him at the racing now eh? He know's his card was well and truly marked. The Legendary Scottish managers of yesteryear, Busby, Stein and Shankley were generally likeable men but were winners and weren't to be crossed but FergusonI dont think will ever be ranked in this mould, I think he's generally disliked by Football men and journalists across the board. Mourinho had the measure of him big time. Ferguson must have been fucking joyous when Roman sacked him. -
Funny as fuck about hearing Fergie whine like one has never whined before about the Ronaldo/Real situation. How he has the front to bang on about Madrid lacking in moral's, openly tapping players up, blah, blah, blah. When, History has showed, that he has done it more than most. Stam, van Nistelrooy, Rooney, Hargreaves were all approached by Ferguson before their own clubs were notified. Much as I hate to say it of a fellow Glaswegian, But he is a two faced fuck pig of the highest order. He threatened today to leave Ronaldo "Rotting in the reserves" if need be, oh aye Red Nose, Can see the Yanks openly let £60M plus labour in the reserves. Oh, and another thing regarding this cunt, How the fuck did he and Quirez get off with the slagging they both gave the ref after they had lost to Pompay in the Cup? Fuck me, if that was Jose he would have got banged up! No bias though eh!

Aye but thats Kenyon for you. Two faced lying fuck pig of the very, very highest order. And it was a disgrace him going up to get that medal in Moscow. I mean, why the fuck him?? That, along with Salmon features as manager had us as laughing stocks once again. Why not ask Ronnie Harris, Roy Bentley, Charlie Cooke, Kerry Dixon, etc, etc to do the honours? Fuck me, dont we have enough legends of yesteryear to turn to? No, we have to send our very own Right Said Fred up.

I feel the same mate. The more I think about it, the more I want Hughes.....And the less I want Mancini.

I'm not convinced aout Mancini or Deschamps to be honest, although would be more than willing to give either of them a go, considering who we have had to endure over the last eight months. Rijkaard has seemingly stated on more than one occasion that he wants to take a year out, whether thats true or not. Mark Hughes? I'm firmly in his camp for this one. -
