Good article, and I appreciate everything that Malouda has done for this club, especially in the 09/10 season. He was a beast then. And in my opinion, he should remain at the club for one more season, for the reasons that have been mentioned. He's not as good as he used to be, but his experience will no doubt be needed during the season.

Tbh I'm not sure whether that midfield would work with Ramires as CDM. I think that Lamps should still play there alongside Mikel. We need strength and leadership in midfield, and Lamps possesses these qualities.

We need a winger, Hulk in other words. How come you don't see the logic in buying him? Lewandowski is a centre forward, like Torres, so it's impossible to play with both at the same time, unless we want to play 4-4-2. I don't see the logic in your post to be honest. But if the club really want to buy another striker, then they should go after Falcao or Cavani, who imo are better than Lewandowski, which is why I prefer them to him when it comes to centre forwards.

He's a top striker and one of the best in the Bundesliga, but in the Premier League he could end up like Dzeko. I like him, but I'd rather have Hulk, Falcao or Cavani.

You can't really say that. He was rubbish until mid-March. Since RDM took over, he has scored 12 goals in less than 4 months for club and country, and he has been showing great signs of improvement. Next season he will score for fun.

I'd be quite pleased with a win by at least 2 goals difference, a Torres goal and a good performance from Hazard.

Is he any good at free kicks? Lampard hits the wall most of the time, and Luiz is poor at them. So it has to be either him or Mata.

And what worries me is that If Milan can beat us with their average squad, then we're going to get butt fucked by Falcao and co on the 31st of August. Cole seems quite friendly when he's off duty. On the pitch he's grumpy all the time, you hardly ever see him smiling. Determination maybe.

Sell: Turnbull, Benayoun and Kakuta. Loan out: De Bruyne, McEachran and Lukaku. I'm also for keeping Ferreira and Malouda, for the reasons already mentioned.

I'm surprised how Turnbull is still at this club, he's one of the worst goalkeepers in the league. Made my blood boil against Liverpool. Just get rid of him already. Hilario isn't much better than him either, so yeah, we do need a backup goalkeeper.

I can't believe how impatient some of our fans are. He has only played 3 games, and already scored once. What were you expecting? That he was going to score a hattrick in each game? Same with the rest of the team... it's only pre-season. Chill out.
