  1. In that case QPR 2-4 MK Dons Chelsea 0-1 QPR Chelsea 1-0 Man.Utd Man.Utd 2-1 Arsenal Bayern 0-2 Arsenal Bayern 1-0 Dortmund MK Dons > Dortmund
  2. No need to panic, our YC record at SB is outstanding.
  3. The sooner he stays at centre half full stop, the better.
  4. When it's a run in like this, for any part of the table, title, top four, relegation. When does the team with the "easiest" run in come out on top? I can't remember it ever happening. March 2010 every one was saying Arsenal's run in meant their win the title, Spurs should have been home and dry in 3rd last season with the run in they had. Those 2 have form for fucking up when their expected not to. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they both spunked points away this weekend.
  5. I do reckon CL qualification in this Europe should be shook up a bit, maybe a place to the winners of the FA Cup, Copa Del Rey etc etc etc. Not only will it give a chance for the "lesser" clubs to dream, it will also make teams take the domestic cups more seriously as imo it's criminal how underplayed they are. Although on the flip side say that rule was in place this year and Wigan won the FA, them in the CL would not be very pretty, i imagine.
  6. Yeh, which suggest's their are keepers out there. Would have been a class bit of business if we thought ahead and signed Tremmell on pre contract in January. Although having said that, if Lukaku goes on loan to Swansea, maybe we could bargain to try and get this guy on the cheap despite the fact he signed a new contract.
  7. We could use him as our very own John O Shea next season, can cover across the back and in midfield. Despite his early promise i can never see him making it as a first team regular here now, its frustrating i think he has the talent but he is far too nervous and error phrone, he strikes me as someone with little self confidence in his ability.
  8. Good shout, one of our priorities this summer should be a number 2 that will be happy not being first choice, but won't embarrase themself when they get the chance. Wayne Hennessy was a keeper i had my heart set on us signing until injuries fucked him up.
  9. Haven't spoken to him about Marin for a long time haha, i forget the German is even here half the time.
  10. If it was JT approaching his prime and Luiz in his twilight years then Hummels would be my preferred choice out of the two, but Hummels and Luiz (imo) will be an accident waiting to happen playing together. Where as Subotic should be able to pick up (with Luiz) where he left off with the German. One of my Chelsea supporting friends is one of them, didn't want us to sign Oscar because it would reduce Marin's game time
  11. But it might ruin Bruma development
  12. Is he still out off contract at Swansea in June? With Hilario and Turnbull out of contract (i assume they haven't been given a new one, i was away out of civilasation for 3months after all ) at the end of the season, i really think he would make a good and reliable number two for us, and finally won't have me panicking when Cech's injured/rested. EDIT: never mind, just found out he signed a new contract with Swansea until 2015 .
  13. So did Gotze, unless he sign's a new contract we would be a good position to get this guy at a relative low price. We can't let this opportunity slide, surely?
  14. Didn't know his contract ended next year, thought he was on long term (meaning we would have to pay through the nose for him). Sign him up, £12m should do it.
  15. To be fair to him he did end his Chelsea career on a high in the CL run, through sheer determination. Atleast he put effort in at times with us, QPR dont even get that Hopefully Torres can end a torrid Chelsea career on a high a similar way to what Bosingwa did and win us the EL.
  16. His defensive incompitence always over-weighed any attacking abilities he had, in the big games especially we were conceding many silly goals because of his terrible positioning and weak tackling, case in point Park's goal at Stamford Bridge in 2008. I don't mean to sound cynical, but him not being available for most of 2009/2010 won us the title. No way would we have got 6/6 against the big four if he played as much as one of them. It may be harsh calling him the worse player, but he is certainly the worst right back i have seen play for us (in nearly 20 years).
  17. I personally thought he was shit even in his first season defensively, his saving grace back then was that he was a little better going forward. After the 1-2 loss to Arsenal i was calling for Ferreira to come back in.
  18. Win the next 3 and 3rd is ours. We are like a team possessed at the moment and think we can do it.
  19. Going to vote Cahill MOTM today, thought he was outstanding and made a few vital tackles that prevented shots on goal. Was skeptical when he started but good decision by Rafa.
  20. in all honesty i think Fergie can pick who he wants. United have done their job this season, its not their fault others aint done theirs.
  21. Newcastle were an embarrisement, how the fuck did they finish above us last season?
  22. Too reckless, should play defensive midfield
  23. Moyes and Pellegrini don't have much trophies to their name, but that is where the comparison's end. Moyes has spent years in a low pressured job, yes he has done fantastic keeping them competitive every season but lets put it into perspective, Big Sam did the same at Bolton, if he stayed at Bolton to this day and carried on, would he be on that poll above? If Roy didn't ruin his reputation at Liverpool, would we be calling for him due to his miracle work at Fulham? Infact if Hughes stayed at Blackburn to this day we would almost certainly be calling for him too. Pellegrini has got shitloads of CL experience, he is the only manager to break the Madrid-Barca stranglehold in nearly a decade and at Madrid got them 96 points, he took on the biggest job in football and done well, he was very unlucky that he happened to go there at the same time one of the best teams off all time were at the peak of their powers. Pellegrini has proven he can handle a massive job, where as Moyes, hasn't.
