Most football clubs don't think long term, they wing it really season by season, all teams in this league bar last seasons top 6 and maybe Everton and Saints have a lingering danger of relegation every season, the first thought from the managers is to make sure they stay clear of trouble and will play their best available team there and then. Look at Zouma last season, he didn't have much minutes at this time and was getting eased into his role at the club tactically and mentally and this season has played every game before tonight. Patience, his time will come if he carrys on like this.

They always do against us, Mourinho has used the same blueprint against Arsenal that Fergie and Carlo adopted back in the late 00s, be patient and wait for them to inevitably Cock up and it works almost every time.
