  1. Which will 99.9% be no one.
  2. Green won't be number 2.
  3. Even if Sane actively wanted to come here, it would literally be an impossible transfer for 1 billion different reasons.
  4. Funny thing is he was amazing pre 2010 WC (produced some of the best keeper displays in PL history during West Hams great escape in 2007) and i was desperate for him to replace Cudicini as back up in 2009. However as far as present day goes this is weird, he's not PL quality these days even as a #3.
  5. Hazard isn't a great finisher, him being "more selfish" would be counter productive.
  6. Surely his top level career will be over if it happens again? I think United will fall to 5th/6th but i can't see them diving like we did, it would be hilarious though.
  7. City will be tough to catch this season regardless of if we fix those issue's, without meaning to sound like a Liverpool fan this year is about building and the next one challenging. You could also argue it worked in the long run, got a couple of stuffing's but it was clear City were heading in a positive direction and the rest of us were always in trouble once he got the athletic fullbacks and decent keeper. I would trade a couple of ego dent's for similar progress if im honest.
  8. If Sarri has a similar first season to Pep I won't be complaining, I would say it was Bravo and the fullbacks that stopped him challenging us or at the very least Spurs in his first year, not his tactics.
  9. Im a little frustrated Mount hasn't stayed tbh, I reckon he could have seriously staked a claim for a place.
  10. His defensive record at Napoli was very good, I cba to check for sure but I think his concession records were 32,39 and 29. He's not a Brendan mark two that's for sure.
  11. Bats touch is even worse. As much as im losing faith in Morata, he atleast does the basics in terms of movement, with Bats we are down to ten unless he has a 1 on 1 ten or less yards out.
  12. Early days and I know it's just a friendly, but very promising signs so far.
  13. Because we don't tend to plump for players who have flopped at their current club and/or have wages we can't compete with.
  14. Wouldn't surprise me to see him as the direct cover for Kante and Jorginho for a season which i wouldn't actually mind, he did a solid but unspectacular job as a squad player upto January last season and has the basics needed for a Sarri system.
  15. I would say it's worth the risk keeping him and potentially selling him for peanuts next summer for two reasons. 1. There's every chance he will enjoy it enough under Sarri and change his mind DDG style. 2. But if he is still intent on leaving come next summer we should touch wood have a good enough attacking philosophy implemented to minimize the loss as much as humanly possible.
  16. We played poor vs Watford and won late on, but i feel the West Ham game we were in total control and conceded from the only serious attack West Ham set up.
  17. I thought the first few games were fine, West Ham, Burnley and Swansea (despite drawing) were probably our best displays for 18 months (although granted not up against much competition). Liverpool and Arsenal were a bit of a reality check but i still felt confident we would flat track bully our way to top four. Ultimately, the reality was so much better.
  18. It will probably take time to nail Sarriball on a consistent basis but im hoping we see the fruits of his labour here and there straight away. Look at when Liverpool appointed Klopp, came in during the season and within weeks smashed City at The Ethiad.
  19. He might do, but so do we. Even with Conte causing toxic clouds through the whole club we took it to the last day. Also Emery's league record at Sevilla was a series of constant underachievement finishing outside top four with squads that should be making it, the Europa kept bailing him out. As it stands the only position Spurs kick our arse in is striker, while we do them with keeper (admittedly that could not be the case for long). The general feeling around WHL is it the squad are coming to the end of their cycle and they need quality injection fast, something they don't look like getting. The second half of the season for them was pretty much a mirror imagine of our second half in 14/15 (thankgod we didn't have Pep's City to face), performances getting worse but results still there for now, they are seriously outperforming the XG goal metre which isn't sustainable. I doubt they will plunge to 16th like we did but i reckon they will be a damp squib and we will have to have a seriously shit season to finish below them. If Sarri can get his ideas across quickly (and we don't lose Hazard) we should be finishing top four, admittedly the title is out of reach this time round however.
  20. Arsenal's signing are bang average and Emerys league record is wank, weren't you banging on about how Arsenal were going to catch us after Auba's signing and guess what? They didn't get close to doing so. Spurs look likely to lose their best defender, sign Jack Grealish and start the season with Sissoko and Winks as CM, Terryfying. As for United, Jose season three enough said. I'll grant you that City and Liverpool will be tough to catch in the short term but the other three? Have a day off, that's just typical "were shit and our rivals are amaze balls" syndrome.
  21. We are better than Arsenal, United have the famous Jose season 3 coming up and Spurs are currently having a transfer window that makes our 2015 one look amazing. I think we will finish 3rd.
  22. They never seem to mention that other clubs namely Arsenal and post Fergie United have shown the perils of standing by managers after their tenure is evidently broken, infact given how we were evidently prepared to let Antonio see out his contract had Sarri been unatainable we are showing worrying signs of heading in that direction aswell.
  23. Unless he gets made manager i can't see him leaving until he gets an offer he can't refuse ala Jody Morris. Now he's here there always be a role of him similar to how Eddie Newton and Cudicini have been kept on.
  24. There's probably a sleep programe set up by the club to minimize the effect of jetlag. I flew to Australia and back last year and it took me just a day to beat jet lag and adapt to the new timezones on both occasions, when i went Central America i didn't even need time. If i can beat it off my own back im sure the club will be able to help the players do likewise. It's not as awful as people make out.
  25. Ive said for years getting him to focus on shooting more would be counter productive as he's not a great finisher. While it would get him a few more goals and more credit from the hipsters, im certain it would make him a lesser player.
