i feel right now the mentality at the club is to win, win and keep winning titles, championships ... in that mode i dont see young players getting more chances unless they do something very different, like the loanees playing exceptional to force them into the playing 11. eg Sturridges and the Kakutas. More over Carlo is not grooming him as a playmaker but as a defensive midfield which again doesnt really make sense because Essien is the best in there who can be backed by Ramiers anytime who can play ever where. I have always felt the need that we need a playmaker/creative midfielder and maybe Josh is suited to it to the core but i dont see him making first team for a few season now (i wish i m wrong). Other thing we would be going into the market because Roman now wouldnt settle for a second place at this moment after spending so much only on new players. I would love to see Josh going out on loan within the Premier league and not anywhere else where he can get more game time or rather starts to harness his skill (he is got loads of potential to be warming the bench). And in a way it would be a test of his potential to show that he belong in the 11 and also if he has a good season i m sure he gets drafted into the playing after a season which otherwise mite take a few. So right now would to see Josh as a playmaker but i dont think it is happening at the moment, we would be going into the market to get one

Like: Ever since i started watching Club football since the millennium (after i got a cable TV at home), i liked Arsenal because of the name and the way they played. Slowly i realized there was too much arrogance in them and the same time i was watching other teams specially the Blues, thought they always played like real good and being a team player that i m, i thought they really play like a team and gel very well on the field. Their effect only grew more and more and haven't seen back after that. And it was a good choice Dislikes: United is a decent side but i hate the fans one as there are too many glory hunters and again very arrogant players. Same with Arsenal. I dont have any hates for Liverpool, for me they are just another side who can hurts u when/where it matters the most.

Ramiers : from a unknown to a star .... for growth that he has shown and now is slowly becoming a solid starter in that 11.

I believe there is a huge thing made out that we could win the title from here on because of the victories we had. I dont see we winning the EPL this year (if we do nothing like it) because of the way we played from Oct to Jan (we dont deserve it) secondly it is difficult to catch up United as they have something which no other team has on a consistent basis which is grit determination and luck, best example would be the last Boltan game. I would reckon best bet would be a close 2nd position which should be a good result provided we keep playing with a belief. Champions league i do think we stand a chance because of the knockouts now.

Nope ... not that i m not an optimistic ... but even if we win all our games we still have to depend on other to fail which is not how i like. We can surely play the role of spoilers though ... After last nite win 3rd position looks set now should look for 2nd.

Lampard brace rekindles faint title hopes

Very Lucky that we won .... Yes a win is a win, never the less! But this not kind of performance we are used to seeing from Chelsea. Sloppy lot of time. High for me: was change in formation and the 3rd goal, superb interplay glimpse of what we did at the start. Nothing else. Ohhh the header from Captain Courageous I m not sure if u guys saw but there is no smoothness in our game, very less 1-to-1 and most of time we tend to break our advancement by passing it behind and start again and do the same thing ... M i the only one to feel it ? -
Bitter Ferguson frustrated by brilliant Blues

not sure if you guys saw this ... but it is just awesome -
Luiz! Luiz..Luiz! Luiz..Luiz! Luiz..Luiz! And a STAR is Born! :tophat: :tophat: :tophat: :tophat: Hats off to Carlo for getting such another awesome talent to the Bridge!

I hope it is not Untied because they have a pathetic squad this season and are being lucky all the time. If they win, it would be slap on everyone's face which would refer: 1. we can win with Oldies. why cant u? 2. We can with this fringe team, what abt u? I wish City wins it (I just cant stand Wenger standing with that crooked smile along with the trophy :champions:, it is damn scary would have nightmares )

Why Chelsea can still win the league!

I dont want to be negative about this but the reality is we are not in a shot. With the way we played on Sunday we should ensure that we finish into top 3 because Liverpool, Spurs and Sunderland are all breathing down over neck. I hate to say but Arsenal and City have better chances to take the cup (i m assuming United would go into a blip and lose a couple more). Arsenal has got most of the easier fixtures while City would just take advantage of the fight that is happening if they can be consistent. For us FA is all that is, though Champions league is tough not impossible. -
Good post mate ... Would still say it was a scrappy win but a Win nevertheless. We still are not tight in our defense bizzare at times. Have to say that Anekla yest was brilliant in the free role and he has made me eat my words, Hats off Anekla. Please start using Ramiers more rather then Mikel i dont think Mikel is good enough to earn a start. The only one i m worried is Drogba he is just not there, totally lost into his Malaria. The Torres factor has got everyone going and i m hoping it would only get better in the days to come. Good job Guys, keep it up.
-
Not sure what would be the outcome of this Torres saga but one thing i m sure, this saga must surely have got the Uniteds fans worried and they would all be praying that this doesnt happen ... Drogba + Torres = lethal! specially when we got to play United twice
-
Not sure how much truth is there in this but if we want Torres i dont think this is bad deal ... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1351802/Fernando-Torres-join-Chelsea-50m-Anelka-rejoin-Liverpool.html

I dont quite agree with u mate ... He is only 27, adapted to the English game and his best is yet to come .. Yes he is troubled with injuries off late but proper guidance could help him over come it (Messi is a great example) .... Torres has a brilliant one touch and finish that very less in the world have ... Imagine Drogba starting with Torres .... LETHAL! But having said that i know Liverpool wouldn't sell him specially now with Daglish as their manager ....
-
I agree ... Wasnt great scrappy play lot of time, a better team could have killed us ... But a win is a win and i guess we would take anything that comes our way, glad we finally got an away win after such long .... We have some tough games coming up next and i hope that we take this run into the matches ahead ....

Would be a Decent buy actually ... though not at the level of Chelsea but would surely be better than having Ferrara in the CB. He is a no nonsense old fashioned defender so it should be a decent buy in Jan plus playing in the League is an added bonus.
