  1. it is positive, but it gotta be backed up by them not making terrible decisions and being the stereotypical american owner.
  2. and correct me if I am wrong here, cause translator + i havent actually spoken german for 15 years since I was forced to learn it at school... But that doesn't say anything about the deal being close to completed?
  3. I do not see this anywhere on Bild at all. But I do see Romano saying talks havent even started yet (but will soon)
  4. Not what I had hoped for. But eh, hope he does well.
  5. With that source, I am going to say yeah.... That isn't legit.
  6. It would be beautiful. Sadly I just don't think Kante will stay fit, but... I want to believe haha
  7. It's weird cause you have no idea what the manager landscape is like in the summer. But either way, plans can be made now, and the club could easily sign Nagelsmann or whoever on to start their job at the club from the summer.
  8. That is a weird assumption. Hell, some of the managers 'available now', might not even want to join mid season. Wouldn't surprise if Nagelsmann wants to wait. Why give it to him, if they're not convinced? What if he prefers to start a fresh in the summer?
  9. Lampard worst manager Chelsea have had? Lmao. Either you've been following football for 3 years max, or just clueless. He wasn't good, but he wasn't nearly as big a disaster as many makes him out to be. He even had a few big positives, like the amount of youngsters he managed to make first team regulars. Maybe a lot of that was forced due to the transfer ban, but it happened nevertheless. If this was a permanent option, I would be quite upset. But it isn't. He's an interim. Yeah, or that only the third and fourth option wants to.
  10. Makes sense as an interim manager I think. No rushed decisions, give the decision of next manager time. Also lets stop pretending Todd is making these decisions on his own.
  11. Enrique scares me. Surely big Todd isnt that dumb
  12. Sad to hear this, although I guess I have to admit the mess was getting to big. Good luck with whatever you do next.
  13. Good to see Koulibaly is still a fraud. Potter needs to stay
  14. Not sure how he is too nice to do that, when he literally did this with Aubameyang against City. It didn't work, but he did it. So nothing to do with niceness. Anyway I do absolutely believe he will turn this around if given the time. Just like Arteta did. I said this a week ago and two weeks ago as well, and I dont think I am changing my mind any time soon.
  15. The fuss is about squeezing the deal as much as they could, maybe even hope they could still convince him to stay until the summer window. They probably knew they weren't going to get 100m up front, but negotiations innit. Makes sense for a team like Benfica, that lives so hard off their transfers.
  16. Baby steps and all, but certainly another step in the right direction under Potter. I think it will be a bit of a rocky road still, but good performance all things considered.
  17. Real shame he didn't get a goal today, but I was thoroughly impressed. Not just quick, not just fast feet for dribling. No, also a very good vision for the players around him, and with a bit more luck could have had an assist. Never seen him before other than youtube highlights, where even Marko Marin looks good, so was very nice.
  18. It is very impressive. But I do think he has shown signs of aging (about time isnt it really?), and not always been up to his usually high standard. I would certainly not give him a 2 year deal.
  19. Yeah no, that's not happening. Thank God, Potter will get the time and make this a proper team.
  20. Very early days, but Badiashile looks like a very nice improvement. Hopefully Thiago Silva can keep this level then, or Fofana can come in and do well next to him when fit.
  21. Without ever having watched Mudryk play, it feels a bit scary to spend that much on a guy who played so little pro football, at the age of 22. Hoping my fears are put to shame, but feels a bit... Scary.
  22. No. He needs to stay and overhaul this disaster of a squad, and I believe he will get the time to do that.
