I don't believe anything reported. I'd prefer to wait for Conte press conference or statement before geting into conclusions for how long a player will be sidelined.

I really hope it's not serious, otherwise it will be really hard for the team.

It seems like Mr Ancelotti can't cope with the dressing room after 1-2 seasons. Players are losing faith in him and are turning up against him, one of the worst things that could happen in a dressing room. And we, Chelsea fans, know that very well. Carlo is an amazing coach and have achieved a lot, I'm gonna be always thankful for his job in Chelsea, in his 1st season the players were producing some exciting football with lots of goals and eventually managed to get a double. And in the next season in felt like he lost the plot in the dressing room... I think the best for him would be to get back to Italy. I'm sure in Milan he will be treated with a lot of respect and he can manage them for more than 2 seasons.

What is wrong with this guy? It's like 3rd or 4th game in arow where he is completely useless, he makes so many mistakes and can't even pass in 2 meters to save his life...

I think the mindset before the start of the game was wrong for us. It looked like Conte wanted to do one of Mou's type of matches and get a 0-0 draw. We were afraid to attack and to create something, really, really cautious whole game and still we made a lot of mistakes. I hate when we sit back and try to take a draw, especially when it is on Stamford Bridge, it looks so illogical. I think Conte f8cked up this match completely after bringing Willian for Morata, that was probably the decision that ended the game completely. I hope Conte learned his lesson after that match and won't ever again go into game with the same mindset, it's just wrong. 8 lost points in home games so far, nothing to be proud of, the boys should improve a lot if they want to fight for the top 3 this season.

Without target man it will really hard till the end, can't really understand why Conte bring Willian in for ST, especially when Willian is so poor. We need some miracle, I can't really see how we can score. Hazard is always against 2-3 city players and no one around him to help. We need more players in m city half, Pedro might actually make a difference with his fresh legs in the second half. Hope for he best KTBFFH!

The team needs fresh legs for this one, Drinkwater would've been useful here, what a shame he is injured right now. I'd like to see 3-5-2 again, but will be big gamble to start again with the same midfield, especially starting Cesc again. I just can't understand why this match is not played on Sunday, one extra day would've been really good for our players after they trip to Spain. So, I believe Conte will start with 3-4-3 with Kante and Baka in mid and Hazard-Morata and Pedro up front. Christensen for Luiz and maybe Rudiger for Cahill. It will be interesting to see if Conte thinks Zappacosta is ready to face strong opposition like city and start him. I believe the condition of the players will take a big role in the final result. Let's hope for another good performance from our boys on Stamford Bridge and hopefully a massive win against one of the contenders for the title this year.

Alonso isn't one of the best wing-backs but he definitely is playing better than I expected when he joined. He is good in the air, have good technique, can cross properly and has really decent left foot, also a serious treat for the opposition from free kick. But it's easy to see how he is lacking pace and is often beaten 1v1, defensively he struggles against some good players and that's why I was hoping Chelsea can bring Alex Sandro who will be upgrade on him and our left-back position would've looked a lot stronger with him.

Really happy with the result. I'm really happy with Morata's hat-trick too! Great away support as always! Was so nice to hear all the noise in Britannia Stadium coming from the away stand.

This tackle was so horrible... I'm 100% sure that if it was Chelsea player against Stoke one, he would definitely be shown the red. Cahill and Luiz tackles looks like nothing compared to this one, but they were directly sent out. F8ck FA.

Don't get excited about Cahill being dropped, he is resting for Atletico and City just as Hazard

Would really love to see more of him on the pitch, I'm impressed of his composure and determination at his age and playing your 1st game for Chelsea just after a few months you joined them. Hope he has the opportunity to play some more 1st team games.

Bakayoko must start, won't mind mid 3 of him Kante and Cesc if up in front are Hazard with Morata, but it's more likely to see 3-4-3 with Willian. Will be tough match for sure, RLC had a good impact last time at this stadium and Cahill bring us the 3 points Don't mind how, just win the 3 points.

Not really, If he manage to reach CL final or 1/2 final with the likes of Alonso and Moses/Zappacosta, I'd say he has done it completely. But you can see how these players and not only, improved a lot under Conte and won him the PL title. Something Ferguson was doing at united, winning PL for fun with the likes of Carrick, Brown, Evans, Park, Fletcher(the list is really big!).

Seems like so long time ago when Chelsea were trashing arsenal, especially at the Bridge, now - last 3 games, 2 lost and 1 draw. But arsenal definitely played better than the match against pool, but that was because of our weak mid in the 1st half and they were a lot better in defence than the game vs pool. If Pedro managed to score that in the 1st half, I believe we would've won the match, big miss and feels more like 2 dropped points at home, rather than 1 point won. And it's even worse that we lose Luiz for 3 games after his no-brainer tackle. Hope the team gets on the winning way next week.

David Luiz career in a nutshell... Just when I was thinking how solid he was today and is definitely MOTM for me, he makes this horrible no point tackle and sees the red. It's direct, so he is missing 3 games.(Does someone knows if the match in mickey mouse cup will be counted on his suspension?) Personally I don't believe this is a red card, but the way he jumped and knowing we are Chelsea, it was obvious that he will be sent off. Stupid, stupid tackle after such a great performance from him...

Morata still thinks he is playing for Real and is in Spain, he needs to understand this type of physical battles won't win him a foul. He better stay stong and try to stay on feet.

Hope he stays away from the starting line up against arsenal.

Solid performance from him, it's nice to know we have him as back-up and is ready to play on high level. He is also the future, Luiz is 30 years old, if Andreas has enough patience I can see him being vital player for Chelsea in the coming years.

What a cracker.... Amazing run and even more amazing shot for his goal. I love this goal. And when you think it's his 1st start for Chelsea He had a good match, but let's say the opposition didn't require a lot.

Don't underestimate this team, they go through Copenhagen to react this stage and are usually doing well in Europe League. We must start strong in CL, that's why we should be concentrated at max and I think Conte knows that better than anyone else, also our players should be motivated that they will play in CL once again after a year. I'd like to see Christensen in the starting eleven, but I'm not too sure that will happen. Zappacosta might start, if there was Alonso's back-up, he would've started as well, but Kenedy is not a player I'd trust in CL. Musonda might come in if we lead comfortably in the last 20-15 minutes of the game, coming for Hazard for instance. I believe Willian will start this match. I've missed these CL nights, can't wait to watch them again, I hope Chelsea can start strong and solid this year in it and win the 1st match.

6/10 transfer window imo. Conte made such a good season that I would expect the board to try harder and bring him at least plan B targets, not plan F like Zappacosta. I was hoping for new LWB and RWB who would be improvement over current players, now we have Zappa and Moses who are on the same level and only Alonso on LWB and when you see how much games the team has only in September and you can realise that the board didn't do well. The depth in CBs is more than enough imo, it's probably the only position where Conte can make a lot of rotation, unfortunately for him CB is not a position that requires a lot of rotation 4 midfielders look okay when you think that we had only 1 fit in the second game of the season I'm actually happy with our choices for CM, yeah Drinkwater might be underwhelming for such kind of money, but is a HG and gives us good and experienced option on the bench. Hazard, Pedro, Willian and Musondo sound okay for AM, of course we need a bit of luck to keep all of them injury free through the season and hope Musonda can step up in some matches and make an impact for the team. Morata and Bats only sounds a bit risky, it's Alvaro's 1st season in England so it might be difficult for him and also might be not ready to play full 90 minutes yet as he was mostly used as a sub in Real. Bats didn't show anything good since his pre-season match against Arsenal. The boy needs to clear his mind, because I believe he will get far more opportunities this season, if he doesn't take his chances, he might leave even in January if Chelsea find new striker. I was hoping the board to bring world class players who can bring the club to another level and fight for CL and PL this year, can't see this happening now though, again we have to rely on Conte's magic to turn avarage players to world class ones.
