So I joined the league last week. Then I went to check my score and the league was not listed on my team page. I went to rejoin, and I got a message that on the fpl page that said "you are banned from this league". Would anyone care to explain why I'm apparently banned? Edit: I just read Steve's post from last week. I was unaware I had to state my team name on this forum. My team name is/was Deco & the Bunnymen.

After reading the posts in this thread, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who hates Bitcharito with such a passion. And oh yeah, I don't want the lil tosser at our club.
-
Most of the reports I've read have been the same.
-
Danny certainly is an extremely talented player. However, he is seriously lacking in the decision-making department. Hopefully, he can maintain some patience with being a part time player while he develops this crucial part of his game. It would benefit not only him, but the club as well. Unfortunately, I do see a petulant streak in him, and he might want to move on. Even worse, the word around the campfire is that some of our most hated rivals, Spuds and the Scousers to be precise, are starting to circle.

Wow, normally you don't see these type of threads until the leaves start changing. Anyway, I wouldn't say we're overated. It's early days yet. It is absolutely vital that we add some steel to our midfield, an alternative to Brana and Paolo "Pai Tempo" Ferreira at RB, and perhaps a Striker to provide some insurance for Nando.

Deluded comments about position, importance, and past accomplishments: He'll fit in very nicely at Spuds.

http://www.emirates247.com/sports/football/barca-plan-to-destroy-chelsea-in-transfer-window-2012-07-11-1.466793 I've read some things from this site before, and they really seem like they are trying to supplant goal.com as one of the worst rumor sites.
-
Can't really call him a traitor. He was sacked. He didn't leave of his own volition.
-
I think you are really overestimating Spuds' budget.
-
I'm beginning to think that Van Aanholt probably won't make it. He struggled to get any time on the pitch at Wigan, and his loan at Vitesse didn't go particularly well. Perhaps the club brass are thinking along the same lines.

107 F or 42 C here. Either way it sucks. We've had less than an inch of rain in the past month. I live in a National Forest and it feels like being in a tinder box. Could be worse though, I've some friends that live on the Front Range in Colorado. Oh well, I guess I'll just lie back and think of England.....
-
Drogba is definitely the exception, not the rule as far as the arc of a player abilities.
-
We've been hearing for months how Danny wants to quit due to lack of playing time and being played out wide when he does play. What makes absolutely no sense is that not a single destination mentioned by the dimwit journos would take care of these supposed grievances. Citeh- take a number, they are beyond spoiled for choice at CF and SS/AM in their 4-2-3-1 Liverpool and Le Arse- He would have to play a wide role in Rodgers 4-3-3 or Whinger's 4 2 3 1 The only destination that would make any sense, cringe, would be Spuds. And if they want him, it's going to cost them a king's ransom.
-
I would absolutely love it if we came in and easily surpassed Le Arse's offer of £12m. This seems like quite a low offer, and Giroud is worth more. Heaven knows we would offer better wages.
-
Elia just isn't good enough to start on a semi-regular basis. Maybe a signing for some depth, but I still don't think he's up to snuff. Sessegnon struggled mightily in a wide role. It wasn't until he was put in a central role that he truly began to shine.
-
Makes me look back on his time at Spuds. Hopefully, now we won't have to listen to him talk about how every player is a "fantastic player." One of my favorite comments from him was when they acquired Saha. He said that Rio Ferdinand told him that Saha was the best forward he ever played against.
-
True, but he shouldn't have tried to round Buffon. However, I don't think he was that bad. The media and some fans are scared to death that he regains some semblance of form because they'll no longer have a whipping boy. Especially the media. I have said it before, and I'll say it again: Most journos think Nando should score every time he touches the ball. That's not an exaggeration.
-
It's not just the amount of the transfer fee, it's the club that would receive it.
-
Apparently, according to the Sun (so who knows the veracity of this claim considering the source), KDB is to be loaned the Southampton for the coming season. I would like to see him loaned to a better side than a newly promoted club, but getting playing time in the PL is what matters most at this stage of his career.
-
Jose Bosingwa was Gregory Van der Wiel before Gregory Van der Wiel was Gregory Van der Wiel. Much rather have Isla or Azpilicueta, in that order.
-
So let me make sure I'm clear on this: We scouted a player for years, who in turn became the most desirable player on the transfer market. Only after everybody and their brother started talking about him, the Manc clubs started to sniff around. Then we actually signed him. Who are these people and what have they done with Chelsea's board?
-
I'm a big fan of Dembele. He's very versatile, strong in the tackle, a great passer, and can dribble. He'd be a cheaper and better alternative to Fellaini imo.
-
You realize, by feeding the troll, he's probably having a good laugh with his fellow Tims in the dole queue about how he wound up the lot of you.
-
All bias aside, we really make the most sense for him as far as wages, playing time, transfer fee, etc. Hopefully these rumors come to fruition.
-
Very bittersweet. Drogs was the most complete center forward of his era. No one had his combination of pace, technical ability, brute strength, and aerial prowess (both in attack and defense). The numerous moments of sheer elation he gave myself and many others whilst watching him in Chelsea Blue are something that shall always be treasured.
