  1. Wow! What a goal. Amazing pass, amazing finish, despicable players.
  2. Ibra looks nervous, not a great start for him.
  3. Does anyone watch PSG often? How is Lucas doing there? He looks great.
  4. Also, I was extremely impressed with Hernanes during the international break with Brazil. Anyone know if he'd be available and for how much? He was like a better Dembele.
  5. Why would you think Real will let Varane go?
  6. 4-3-3 Cech/(Backup GK) Azpi/Bane - (CB)/Cahill - Luiz/Terry - Cole/PVA/Bert Ramires(Ball-winner) - Mikel/Romeu - Oscar (DLP) Mata/KDB - Ba/Lukaku - Hazard/Moses So at a minimum, we'll need a backup GK, a CB, a ball-winning midfielder and a proper centre-mid, preferably a deep lying playmaker. Backup GK - Buy someone homegrown, maybe Robert Green after QPR goes down. CB - Has to be someone who can partner Luiz from day one. Ball winning mid & centre-mid - We need two midfielders for sure. People keep throwing KDB in their midfield but he's way too aggressive of a passer and not good enough of a defender to be playing EPL level midfield, he should be first backup to all the attacking mid positions. I'd want Vidal for sure and a Moutinho/Cabaye whichever is cheaper (I'd prefer Moutinho). I'd love a striker and another winger but the above take priority, especially the midfield imo. In: Green - 2M? CB - 15-20M Vidal - 20M Cabaye/Moutinho - 20M Lukaku - Loan KDB - Loan PVA - Loan Out: Ferreira Malouda Yossi Essien Lamps Marin Torres Total spend of 60M or thereabouts with big wage cuts for sure.
  7. We needed to win at Southampton. Now I don't know if we can stay in the top 4. We have tough fixtures, thin squad and really not a good enough squad either. We're going to need a lot of help from Spurs or Arsenal if we wish to finish in the top 4. Really needed a win at Soton. God, no top 4 is going to be a big problem. No way in hell Mourinho comes, we ain't going to be able to sign anyone good and just the whole mentality at the club will deteriorate considerably.
  8. He was picked for the first team squad for the match tomorrow.
  9. Everyone sounds mad as hell but I couldn't be any happier. I'll be at the game, only 2 hour drive for me can't wait. Happiest I've been in a while.
  10. Still alot of time for our back 4 to screw this shit up lol.
  11. Full blame on the manager, I can understand resting your key players but we never looked like we could just buckle down and defend. Defence was shambles the whole match. Don't see how we win this now.
  12. Huh? Christensen has played full back throughout the entire competition lol.
  13. Southampton play good football but they also let others play and the way we've been playing as long as we don't concede stupid goals we should be able to grab a goal or two.
  14. Think he's too young to be loaned out. Unless we can trust the manager and the coaches of the team he's going to it's very risky. Sure he's good but being so young and still developing you don't want to throw him in an uncomfortable environment considering he's had some attitude problems. Keep him where he respects the people around him so he stays grounded.
  15. I'm ejaculating all over the place thinking about the next 8-10 years with Mata and Hazard. Chelsea did an amazing job getting these gems. You can find playmakers and dribblers everywhere but we have attacking mids who not only excel at what other attacking mids excel at but they have even better end products and are genuine goal threats. The better Hazard gets the better Mata will get, although Mata already has unbelievable off ball movement that he ends up escaping his markers and the defence even when the other team tries to mark him out of the game. This is why also I think we don't need to spend huge on a striker. A proper 9 who plays off the last man like Ba (horrible but made great runs) did opens up alot of space for the likes of Mata and Oscar. I do think we need to get one who has a good touch and can play quick 1-2 with Hazard.
  16. People are comparing us to Barca with Mata, Hazard and Oscar but these guys play like 10 times more direct than Barca. Yeah we like to keep possession but Mata is probably the most direct Spanish player imo, also why I think he doesn't get picked more for Spain as they prefer the tiki-taka which never made sense to me because they have no Messi.
  17. Cole needs some rest. He plays one 7-8/10 then a 5-6/10. Very inconsistent this season. We should play Bertrand more often, especially the Europa League and what not, keep Cole for the PL.
  18. This is what happens when you don't get a good run of games. You loose your touch and finesse Ba is making amazing runs, but the lack of regular gametime has thrown off his rhythm, no way he would have missed those chances at Newcastle.
  19. And a sexy ass you can't stop staring at.
  20. Well to be fair his goals have kept us in 2 competitions this year, without those and we'd be fighting for nothing right now.
  21. If he would have dislocated or fractured it, it woulda been almost impossible to go on. He just hyperextended it a little and strained it but considering his play style and how often he does that move, his ankles are probably strong enough to withstand that. Put some on ice on it after the match and he should be fine.
  22. You can tell though there's so much more there. We need a manager that will tell him to just be angry and go fuck shit up. Still seems timid sometimes. He's still very young, even though he's very mature for his age he still needs that guidance to get to that next level. It's always important to have a good manager but next season it's more important than any other year because I don't think in all of Chelsea's history will a manager have inherited such a talented squad.
  23. Most likely be given Arsenal captaincy next season and with the new contract he seems loyal to Arsenal. I would love him here though, not only is he a cracking player he's got that fight and determination in him that he'll always contend to be the best player on the team no matter which team you put him in. I have always been a big fan.
  24. Just shows that if he go to a high-line, high pressure game, he'll be amazing at it. I still think Cahill isn't a bad partner to him but they need a good run of games in this new style to understand each other's games.
