Happy for the clean sheet. The front 4 looked lost at times. Hazard had like 3 guys on him at all times yet everyone else just stands and watches. Get closer and link up with him. Hate to say it but Cole is shockingly bad in the build up. Considering Hazard is our LW, we need to get a left back who can actually link up with him. Schurrle worked hard and showed glimpses. KDB was poor. Lamps was horrible. Should never be playing on big matches. A point isn't the worst. But we could have had at this United team.

He said that before we got Willian. You'd have to think he realized Mata isn't cut out as a RW in his system and opted for Willian.

He'll be the first choice RW, without a doubt imo. Hazard is the first choice LW obviously. Mata and Oscar will play through the middle. KDB and Schurrle to provide cover for LW and RW. The biggest battle is undoubtedly for the CAM position as it's just hard to imagine one of Oscar and Mata to be left out of the starting lineup. Especially Mata. Willian - Mata - Hazard ST Willian - Oscar - Hazard ST Hazard on LW, Hazard lite on RW. Very exciting that's for sure.

Willian can play that role. And he actually has an end product to his dribbles. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Moses, and imo Willian is a luxury signing we didn't need but he's without doubt a massive improvement on Moses.

that's what I said in the Willian thread. If Willian comes I think there's a possibility for us to play with André as a false 9 or just as a striker. He has the tools to do both I just feel like he's going to take a while to adapt - as expected - but yeah, he could be moving more and more forward as time goes. To this day I'm still feeling sorry for the chip against Hull that was just above the goal. Poor thing. I want to believe Roman, Mou and the board actually have a plan other than demoralize and make Spurs look like idiots. No need for a false 9. I think he has the tools to become an out and out striker. He's got great shooting technique. Can dribble and a good first touch as well. Pace and a decent enough finish. And he's only 22. And most of all excellent movement as well.

You now have to give serious considerations to the possibility of Schurrle being turned into a striker. Jose did say we had a Plan B when asked about Willian. One would presume, that means Schurrle to be instead used as a striker to make room for Willian?

Imo, Chelsea + United best 11 would be: Cech Rafael Luiz Vidic Evra Ramires Carrick Mata Oscar Hazard RVP Azpi and Rafael is very close. Vidic is always injured, so I can see an argument for Ferdinand or Ivan
