I think you're right that we do this more. Jose HAD instilled this argumentative streak in the player, but you know what? That's fine. As long as you only do it when you genuinely feel hard done by! And many times we have in the past, in this season, but clearly that's not what the players are doing if you look at the reaction to Ashley Cole's lenient booking against Spurs. I would suggest it is as much Grant not doing anything about it than worsening it. Malouda didn't do quite as badly as I expected, but he was still very ineffective. It was either him or SWP, and Shauny didn't cover himself in glory against Boro so Malouda was given the nod. It just goes to show we lack quality on the wings.
