They are different players, Muller is more movement and work rate than De Bruyne. That's not De Bruynes place at all, De Bruyne has far too much creativity to be placed there out wide, he needs to be playing centre also where he can kick a ball more effectively on his right foot.
-
KDB is similar to Oscar and Mata, I know not the same at all, but they are attacking creative type players. Schurrle is a different player, people aren't understand this at all, they are just too bothered about the price tag.
-
We haven't even played Madrid yet in the CL, so I wouldn't really worry about it, whereas domestically we are garaunteed to play against him at least twice, him with Liverpool anyway. More chance of us winning things if Liverpool are weaker so they aren't taking points off us.
-
What a stupid statement, oh so because Liverpool lose Suarez that means the whole league is going to be shit does it? We still have 5 other good teams, and Liverpool finish like 7th either way. I was happy QPR went out because they took points off us, regardless of what players they had, they where a pain in the arse and we clearly wern't good playing against them. Liverpool are the same, they take points off us every season now, we've failed to beat them in the league in the past 3 seasons, with 4 losses and 2 draws, that's pretty fucking shit. Just face it and quit arguing, because it's obvious anyway that the more we win the better, EPL is always going to be the best league with or without Luis Suarez or Gareth Bale, those players wont matter, we still have many top teams.
-
Winning the Europa League, but if you are insisting CL with that then no, I would obviously rather win the CL than Europa.
-
No, it's about winning. We EPL is already the best league and has been for a long time, yet EPL still doesn't get that recognition, the boring two team La Liga will always get it, along with there player of the year awards despite Bayern being the best team now currently. Either way it doesn't matter how strong this league is because either way it's not going to get that recognition because if it did, we would've been getting those awards and getting named the best along time ago. So instead of wanting other teams to become strong so the league isn't 'boring' I would actually like to see them tremble and we grow in strength so we can win more trophies.
-
Then that's just plain idiotic. The worse Liverpool become is better for us, lets face it you wouldn't be saying that if Liverpool actually became better than us, you just wouldn't.
-
You wouldn't be saying that when they are knocking us out of cup competitions and taking our place, should that be happening in the next 10 years. The best thing we can hope for us the destruction to most clubs so we an win as much things as possible.
-
You're right in an essence, they are not our problem, but they are part of it. The defence haven't been great but the team hasn't in general, our defensive work rate has been shite all together, we seem to leave huge space for our midfielders and we don't drop back when we need to, we are just attack attack attack. Oscar isn't as great defensively as some people think, yeah sure he is good at chasing the ball down, but that's only when he does do it. And that's actually pretty rare, he might do it once every game, not good enough. We need that one player chasing the ball all the time against certain teams. Certain teams need certain players to play against, Norwich aren't to confident at the back, so we stick Schurrle on so he can chase them down and allow more pressure, that's meaning they will hoof the ball up we have more chance of winning it back, and that's a vital step for us to winning the game.
-
Yeah lets just stick with our incredible unbalanced team.... jesus christ do some people on here even think? We conceded loads of goals last season because of lack of work rate, midfield was left exposed which left the defence exposed, the team wasn't working all at once. We already have too many Mata's and Hazards as it is. Someone like Schurrle will chase the ball and try and win every header, he has the right mentallity, all you people think about is 'Oh well Hazard is a better dribbler, uhm he isn't a better passer than Oscar'. FOR FUCK SAKE WE NEED DIFFERENT PLAYERS! our team is far too unbalanced, getting different players so they can do shifts down certain wings is a wise thing to do, because when we play the Mazacar we concede a lot of goals.
-
Then stop bringing up the same cases all the time, because all you're doing is undermining other peoples opinions. Of course you can't counter my arguement but whatever. Don't try to twist this around on me being a troll, because I'm far from it. You're the one being controversial sticking up for your estonian friend. Only reason you're not going into it is because I pretty much just put you in your place, you try to speak about me generalising people which I haven't done in the slightest, yet you're making remarks like that in other topics. So yeah don't use the politician shit on me and try to aim it onto an offtopic situation, you know what you are and you know what you've done, good bye.
-
generalisation? coming from the person who said immigration is europes number 1 problem because of the woolwich incident. I'm not having a dig at him, I'm putting him in his place, he's saying no ones opinion is valid just because they are not professionals like our board. What's even the point of opinions if he's going to bring up that case for the 50th time that the board are proffessionals we are just on the internet, it's been proven the board make mistakes, many mistakes, so therefor our opinions are valid. Not to mention I don't even support bluesmasters and rmpr's opinions, I want Schurrle here.
-
I don't care what anyone says he's actually a very overrated striker. He only takes on so many players because Liverpool allow him to have that freedom to do so, oh what you think players like Cavani and that can't already do that shit?. Maybe not in the same class but Suarez just gets that freedom he wont get anywhere else, I bet you any money if he went to Madrid or City he would be nowhere near as good. Not to mention he would have a lot more pressure and expectation, also competition, something he doesn't have at Liverpool, as he's the best there. 3rd best player my arse, not even in the top 10, did anyone see the United game? like watch it all, everytime he tried to take someone on he fucked it up and United ended up scoring two off his mistakes. That's all he does is gamble, yeah sure on match of the day he may look like Messi, but please tell me when match of the day is going to show how many times he loses the ball for trying to take on players? because 70 percent of the time he does.
-
@MetsajCFC, What's even the point being on a forum if you're going to downmine everyones opinion and just be like 'Oh well the board are professionals' This isn't the first time you try to play this neuteral view point of game, just like when the other team gets a penalty you always say 'yeah it's a penalty' just for the sake of being neuteral, even though it wasn't a penalty. It's clearly obvious the board has made mistakes in the past, clearly fucking obvious.
-
Can I just say Madrid fans have no class at all, they are literally telling him to fuck off and go ruin another team, yeah forget what Mourinho did for you, win you a title. I bet they don't do shit now he's gone and Barca win another 50 titles.
-
Supposed to be definite tonight, Soccer Memes posted a link, didn't read it mind, but I think it will get confirmed today, the sources are just going crazy.
-
Is that Irony i see!
-
If you want I'll just give you TC's most controversial award right now.
-
You should watch some games, he's actually a good player with a lot of work rate, I think we lack attackers who are good at work rate. The person you quoted earlier that Lampard guy who is german, no offence to him but I've never seen him say a good word about anyone, especially germans or any player from the bundesliga.
-
You're looking at it wrong, squad depth is vital as it comes, just because you think the player is 20 million doesn't mean his place isn't 20 million. Whatever helps with the team and doesn't let it become a consistent competition and rotational is worth it. Also if you've noticed, all them attackers you mentioned are all the same, Schurlle adds something different to his game.
-
WHAT A BUNCH OF PUSSIES! Sorry but you think dear old Roman is going to fear them bunch of twats? IS HE FUCK! We are Chelsea FC, get Mourinho in and give him the money and we will rebuild and beat City. They had a great team and done fuck all with it, they've spent more than we did when we first started and we still won a lot more. It's going to be hard no doubt, but we can do it, why fear them when we can simply just beat them? Nothings so simple but with faith in Mourinho and faith into the new side we can definitely put up a great fight.
-
Roy Hodgeson = AWFUL MANAGER We've been shit in every game he's managed, god knows how we have won so many games playing such boring and shit football.

In Premier League Player of the season : Gareth Bale (He has been unstoppable this season, he scores goals like you do on fifa every game, has to be him) Young player of the season : Romelu Lukaku (Great performance from him this season, scoring the goals and doing the job, I would of gave this to Benteke, but for me he was very poor mid season and he played almost every game there was, I think Lukaku has been better) Best transfer of the season : Van Persie (He won them the title and it's as simple as that, he won them a lot of points through to his spectacular goals, so he was probably the best buy this season) Worst transfer of the season : Shinji Kagawa (His injury was definitely unfortunate, but just like Marko Marin he had plenty of time when he came back from his injury, and he still never performed, only in the odd game. Only time will now tell if he was worth that money for Manchester United, but those Hazard comparisons where definitely silly to begin with) Best managerial appointment of the season : Laudrup (Won them a trophy, and they where very good in the league, good appointment) Worst managerial appointment of the season : Harry Redknapp (It was a difficult one this one, and Harry will no doubt do a better job next season, but this season Harry just couldn't do what was expected of him. Then again could anyone at QPR? it was just a disaster if anything. Goal of the season : Lowten (That goal for Villa was just superb in every single way, what a strike) Overachieving team of the season : West Brom (They've really overachieved in my opinion, they are a very good side but I can't see them doing that again, unless they get the right players of course) Underachieving club of the season : Man City (Yeah QPR and Newcastle, but City spent so much when they already had a world class team, yet they still managed to lose the title by so many points, crash out of CL group stages with only winning 1 point, lose the F.A Cup final against Wigan and crash out early in the Capital One Cup) Best match of the season : 5-5 West Brom v United (Sure last game of the season, but how many games go 5-5? fantastic, also to see Lukaku score a hattrick) Best moment of the season : Lampard breaking the record (Also not just that the style he did it, winning that vital game against Villa, what a fucking legend he is) Complaint of the season : The refereeing this season for us (Usually the refereeing has been just about even, bad and good with us, but how many games we have been fucked over is just unbelievable it really is. Like the Liverpool game 6 magic minutes, Clattenburg game, oh and the stupid Europa League penalties, which where all except for one soft as shit.) Oh and Luis Suarez (do I need to say something?)
-
I wanted us to sell him at the start of the season, but I don't now. Mainly because he's a character, he has won us games and even the Europa Cup, we need people like him in our team if we want to win the league, can't just keep getting rid of players. However I think we will sell him, wouldn't surprise me if we did anyway.
-
Can we change the thread title please, it's just stupid. We are going on about how Falcao chose all this for money rather than Championship glory, but maybe he is just happy playing his football and isn't too fussy to begin with. You also need to realise that if you're a mercenary it doesn't make you the fucking devil, footballers have short careers, once they're over that's it, you need to make as much money as you can in this game or otherwise you are going to regret it in the longterm. Not every player in the world can just go over to Sky Sports, then again with tools like Jamie Carragher and Jamie Redknapp maybe you can.
