  1. Thanks, good to see you again Muzchap! There is a lot more to this in business terms that people don't know about. Could be monthly installments indeed, not just 80 million straight up in cash. However Spurs are stupid if they are taking some form of deal such as that, if they sell bale they need a big cash injection quick.
  2. Aye, but it's not there ability what's the problem, they are so injury prone it's incredible, Gibbs just can't have a full season, Sagna has been sidelined for 6 months 3 times in the past 3 seasons, that's just unbelievable. With Spurs getting Soldado aswell, Arsenal fans must really be shitting themselves, Spurs in my opinion have a better side than Arsenal do at the moment.
  3. I think they've paid off all there loan debts. They've made a lot of money over the past seasons, and the fans are not satisfied as Wenger is not signing players. However he did bid 40 million for Suarez, so he is willing to spend over 15 million for once. Arsenal really do need to strengthen there squad if they want to be in top 4 next season, they need a right back and left back for starters.
  4. Hmmm that's strange, because I would now currently say Ferguson is out of the picture
  5. Premier League will definitely be there main focus, they don't have time to put effort into otehr competitions. Spurs are signing players and splashing the cash, could get 80 million for Bale. Liverpool are even signing players, and offering 20 million for some. United are ahead of them, and us and City are very far ahead of them. Arsenal haven't signed anyone except a 19 year old french striker.
  6. You can always nominate me for my great performances last month
  7. You can't predict penalties, no one can. You can't predict which way the keeper will go, or the taker, so it doesn't matter. Hazard plays a great penalty to the right side, the keepers will always have a feeling that he's going to go left, it's the way it is and it's the way it's always worked. I don't think even we can understand, but if he's converting 9/10 of his penalties, who can really complain.
  8. He's far from a poacher, does anyone forget his poor finishing at all? Yes he has scored many goals but from many fucking chances, first day of the season and the pundits where saying his converstion rate was shocking, when they lost 3-0 to westbrom and suarez missed about 4 clear oppertunities. He's a complete forward i guess, he is a good player but very overrated, people have it in there heads that he is one of the best in the Premier League... He is not. Even now at the age he is I would take Van Persie over him, Suarez is very overrated, just watch if he moves to a new team he will not have that freedom he gets at Liverpool where he is the main man and looked upon by all the youngsters.
  9. But even then he's playing more number 10 role as in directly behind the striker, he's not in the Paulinho role.
  10. A slight injury and not too much to show so far. I really don't care if he doesn't shine right now. Let him do his work in the season. For the past pre seasons our best players have been Yossi Benayoun to Marko Marin, so pre season performances really don't concern me as of now. Schurrle will do well I know he will, he's a great individual to have in the team and offers a lot to the team rather than just plain out attack, something different we needed and we've now finally got it.
  11. To be honest I'm not bothered anymore, I've been wanting Mikel gone for a very long time, and I've started many arguements on this thread. But all in all this ones up to Jose, if Mikel is going to play he will play, I'm going to trust Mourinho on this.
  12. Essien is a very good option to have, Mourinho likes him and he used him in many ways at Madrid. It's also good to have some of the old guard back and bringing the experience and personallity, Essien has always been a great profesional, good to see him back.
  13. Because he doesn't play in midfield, he's been shifted out wide, so how can he have the abillity to the main man when he's in an additional position rather than the spine?
  14. Most overrated player in the Premier League, even more so than Bale. He's a player who has been offered the freedom to constantly try and take players on. Of course match of the day will show him taking on them players, they are going to show the highlights. Anyone seen the United game where Liverpool lost 2-0? just take that as an example, where he lost the ball about 20 times trying to take everyone on. I would love to see him get all that freedom and confidence in him at Real Madrid, think of all the pressure what will be on him when some poor team buys him for 50 million.
  15. Not judging this off pre season but we still need one more midfielder and a striker and we should be set to go. I'm not hoping for anything if our 3 strikers are Lukaku, Ba and Torres Ba is a good forward but he's a squad player, Lukaku is young and still can't take on complete responsibillity regardless of how good he was at West Brom and Torres, need i say more? Get a forward who will improve our game, most preferable a team playing forward who will work hard and can link with our football and has a good first touch. Then a midfielder who is an experienced passer on the ball and puts hefty shifts in, and I think we will have a bright season.
  16. Mata is a great player and our best at the moment. When I mean limited I mean compared to Oscar. Oscar has potential to be a central midfielder, or a classy number 10. Oscar is no push over, he can run games and always gets involved. Mata however will always get on the scoresheet yes, but in those games when we where playing bad two seasons ago he couldn't do anything, of course there is the debate of being burned out. I just think Oscar has a lot more to offer, althogh I do think Mata will always be the best at what he does, Oscar will always do that more for the team and will always be consistently good. I'm not saying Mata doesn't drag the team because he does, but when we need to fight and have more manpower, Oscar comes in handy a lot more.
  17. Well Bale has always been overhyped from the media since the very start. He had two great games against Inter Milan and he was even on the news about it. He is a great player no doubt about it, but he hasn't done as much as Ronaldo did by his age. He's also very injury prone, he picks up about 4 injuries per season. Bale has had one good season, I can bet any money next season he wouldn't score all those goals again if he stayed at Spurs. 80 million is way overpriced, however if Real Madrid want him then they will have to meet the agreements, so fair enough.
  18. Tremendous player, he will be one of the best in 4 years time I know he will. Just wondering where Mourinho will play him, I think he will start playing him and De Bruyne deeper rather than on the wings. Mata maybe the best in terms of attack, but Oscar isn't as limited as Mata, Oscar can run games and always make himself available and much less vulnerable, he pretty much has everything in his locker.
  19. I don't hate trees, even though that might not make much sense. I just hate those fucking leaves, the little bastards,.
  20. I just hate tree leaves, but I describe them as the sections of the forum, they become confusing after awhile, sorry I just thought I'd share. I have problems identifying things like that, I like to name them tree leaves, true bitches they are.
  21. Really is unbelievable, how dare people insult others on the internet. This must be directed at the leaf of the forum, that's the only thing I know who completely lied.
  22. Madrid is an incredibly hard job, lets face it he got Ronaldo firing, and he wont do that every again I can promise you that, 47 goals in the league was it? That won't happen again. He also won you the title, one La Liga in 3 years when you have the best team in the world playing in your league, yeah also another hard thing to do. Just be greatful and remember your up against Barcelona, who from now will probably win all the rest of the titles for the upcoming years. I know for a fact you Madrid fans will regret saying those things you did to Mourinho. He is not the right man for the job? who the fuck ever has been for Madrid?.
  23. You know you could of just said that English players are leaving and there's not many more to get. Josh McEachran, Nathaniel Chalobah & Ryan Bertrand I think Bertrand is a good player but he probably wont ever be a starter, I would like to keep him though. Oh and Loftus Cheek still has a lot to prove, so don't be so definite of that just because of one post season game. McEachran is a good player but he has loads of time, he really does lack determination that's right, but in the aspect of passing and vision, we simply can't miss out on him. Middlesbrough was a bad loan move in the end, the team itself is just that shit it wouldn't help anybody. I was just thinking has any loan move ever worked there? that Alex Nimley who was very talented went to Middlesbrough and didn't score one goal, he's a striker by the way and plays for Man City. Sammy Ameobi went there, had one good game then did fuck all else. Lots of people have lost faith in McEachran, it doesn't matter, McEachran ot of the most has a lot more time on his hands, all he has to do for me is to mature and get more experience as it goes on. If we can get him better loans he could be a well established player, because either way I don't see Josh becoming a player for Chelsea untill he's 24 anyway. I wouldn't exactly worry about the English side of things, new stars come and go, I bet in the next three years or so we will be wanting some good english players who we haven't even listed today.
