Willian has been a bit shackled playing on the right. He doesn't really have the option of coming inside on his stronger foot and facing the play; moving inside gives him the space and the option of going either way which makes him different threat.

Sorry but that's nonsense. Cuadrado looks about 5'10 or 5'11 and is very athletic / dynamic. There are far smaller players with less athletic builds doing well in this league. Cuadrado just needs to adapt.

That is laughable for somebody who is supposed to help build our play, create chances etc. And that's mostly simple passes he's getting wrong since he can't do anything really creative or incisive. It's no wonder we struggle against the Villa's of this world when we have somebody like Oscar in a crucial part of the field.

Well the attackers are asked to do the defender's job so it works both ways. The problem is we have some attackers that can't attack and some defenders that can't defend.

This is not the Mourinho that used to make great subs/change to shape etc. He's completely lost that ability since returning to the club for whatever reason.

To be fair to Willian, we didn't have Costa or Fabregas then, and you can add Cuadrado into the mix now as well. I think Willian is a better complimentary player than Oscar because he does the basics better, something which was crystal clear in yesterday's game. Fabregas - Matic Cuadrado - Willian - Hazard Costa Interesting to see how that works.

I know, and that's why I clarified exactly why Aguero was the toughest test of his career - he's a completely different kind of test: Aguero represents a unique challenge with that combination.

Amazing to think that Zouma still qualifies as an U21 player for next season as well - something which gives us some flexibility with the squad. Playing against Aguero was the biggest test of his career so far; he has never played against an opponent that quick, technically gifted and tricky before and he coped with it brilliantly. Future captain.
