If he can improve his finishing and try to be more direct sometimes, we could have our own Messi
-
I wouldn't say so. He will probably join us in a season or two after a few loans. His progress will be monitored and hopefully he won't waste his talent and time on the bench. What I can also say about Lazar is that he is a great lad. Calm, composed and down to earth. A nice guy to have around ...
-
Mou prefers Benzema because he is involved more in the team play. Words has been out for some time that Gonzalo isn't happy about not playing regularly...
-
Hm...bit difficult to describe...he can play in all forward positions, but as a lone striker not yet. The player he reminds me a lot of is Messi. Don't take this the wrong way, it's just the way he runs, looks and the style of dribbling he uses. And yeah, similar to Piazon, but with more pace I think. If Lazar can take the step up in the league and improve his finishing, but can develop into quite a player really, he has bags of talent. And actually, he comes from the place where my mother comes from too

There is an interview with Lazar I translated few pages ago. In it, he says he's a Chelsea fan and that he enjoyed watching Zola as a kid. I will keep you informed on his situation, Partizan's manager will have a press conference soon in which he'll have to answer on Markovic. As for Markovic's recent games, When Grant came last january his form dropped and he stopped producing level of performances he did under Stanojevic (previous manager). As Grant was sacked and Vermezovic brought (current manager) he started doing it again after overcoming an injury and he is now among the key players in the squad despite being 18. There were rumors before that we signed him which was denied from both sides, but with Partizan's current financial situation, I won't be surprised at all if he already been sold. I believe he should stay at Partizan for another season and then go on to Holland to continue his development before coming here. Mentally he is nowhere ready for Chelsea and physically not yet ready for England. He also needs to sort out his finishing which can get get messy from time to time. He had a chance against Inter to win us the game, but he fucked it up. Anyway, more updates to come

Hah I started thinking, he has a chance to surpass them and then I remembered...
-
If I remember, he hasn't taken a single penalty for Liverpool? Except one in some cup and missed it?
-
I said it just as we brought him. I don't like the guy. There was a lot of fire between us and Liverpool in the past, and any normal Chelsea fan doesn't have warm feelings towards Rafa... That said, he is our coach now. More importantly, he still hasn't done anything in order for us to slate his sorry ass like obsessed monkeys... For me, he has a clean dossier and the way he fills it is the way I'll support him. So far, he has done a good job. First 3 games were really difficult, Man City, then 2 London derbies, and we all know that in those, our opponents are ready to die on the pitch even for a point. He strengthened the defense, which, let's face it, hasn't been good at all under Robbie this season. Torres also started scoring which can only be a good thing. It either means we can raise his price and evaluation or keep him and get Lukaku back without spending anything. What I also noticed, is that we managed to play around the box much more then before. Under Robbie, it seemed that a big part of our possession was around the center of midfield and our defense... Robbie is still one of my favorite people in world of football though. I'm still sad to see him go after everything for what he has done, but I am not the kind of person to cry over the spilt milk, but to clean it up and continue going forward. He is gone, and we as fans have done our part in making it known to him that we love him and appreciate him for what he has done for us. His name will always be said with a smile at SB and he will always be remembered as the man who made something impossible happen in order to give his club the toughest and most valuable competition trophy in European football. We are Chelsea supporters and Benitez is a current manager. On to Tokio...

I won't get carried away. As a matter of fact, he played a bit above average to me in both games excluding the fact that he scored, and the most important thing - that he had the balls to step up and take his 1st penalty in England if I am right? Keep it up lad. I watched some highlights from when he was at Atletico...damn his pace has perished

Congrats to our new MOTM, @Rmpr!! -
Looking at it now... David Luiz. He is charismatic, he has leadership and he doesn't give up. When he makes a mistake, he gives 150% afterwards in order to compensate it. He has the balls to step up and his recent PKs and FKs show that he practices a lot. With Rafa and his tougher defense, I expect him to step his game up since he won't be exposed as much as before. After him, I would say Cahill and Ivanovic, but I just find David much more suitable for it.

Now when I think of it... Carlo's 2nd season started going downhill after Lamps got injured (those 2 fucking weeks)...he came back and we ended up 2nd in the league. AVB's season started going downhill as he started benching Lampard and reducing his role in the team...later on, Lamps returned to the lineup and captained us to the CL trophy. This season started well with him playing some great football, especially some passes, but he got injured and now we are on a bad run again. Good to have him back. I do hope though that fans will understand that he may be out of form and won't be able to perform as we expect. It wouldn't be nice that he starts receiving criticism and be labeled as scrapegoat for our potential bad results ...

I like that "Calm your shit down, I'm here" face
-
Well that's brilliant! xD Us kicking them out of Europe again would be priceless. Even worth more then going through the group stage It would scar the twats for life
-
Mikel suspended isn't that bad. It will give Oriol a good run of games which will show to the board if he's ready to be given a bigger role or we need another DM. I hope he does well, he was good against Nords. His long balls (not those balls you perverts ) have helped the team a lot in attack speed. It is something I don't see Mikel do often and something Ramires doesn't do at all.
-
Oh I do hope we managed to use him in some kind of a deal or get at least some money for him with an adequate replacement...can't withstand all this crap talk around Torres...he is back, he misses, he will never be the same, Torres this, Torres that, Torres dive...bla bla bla bla bla.....bla Even his two goals have been clumsy...but goals are goals, I don't care if he scorers them with his right tit if he scores them... No troll face needed
-
Just watched the match cuz I couldn't make it last night. Nicely done by the lads and good to see the whole team working like a unit and playing their thing for 90mins. Shame we're out, but shit happens. Let's focus now on pushing for the title and having a good run in FA and CCup. Whole team did well, but Hazard was just brilliant. Hazardous. Nice to see Torres get a good game and I hope he keeps improving because we need all the help we can get. Oriol did well as a deep playmaker, his long passing was rather good. On to the next game....

Not sure if trolling or serious
-
We'll he's Hulk, he goes where he wants and says what he wants
-
If someone told me 4 years ago that Chelsea will have Torres who will say he wants to stay 4 more years and win many more trophies and that I would be disappointed to hear it - I would laugh in his face

I wasn't active so I won't vote, but I'm really happy to see people struggling to choose 1 person to nominate -
I am hoping that he will finally settle down somewhere because I don't see him going to either Germany or France so all that remains is England. If he does settle down, I don't see why he couldn't do well long term here. For his previous jobs, he was still out there to prove everyone he is the best, but now his point has well been taken. And doing what you wrote with the approach our dear owner has...good fucking luck.
