  1. I actually like Rafa's work so far and what he has said. I am not happy seeing Robbie sacked and ex Liverpool manager who spoke bad things about us replacing him, but then again, if I was a manager, I pretty much would slate teams if that would help my team win. Obviously, nothing extreme, but something subtle like Rafa said... It will be really ugly of some people who say offensive things to him when part of them starts supporting him when (if) things start going our way. For me, he has a clean dossier, and I'll judge him from his day 1 at work. By not giving support without him actually doing anything bad is not something a true fan should do...
  2. Brilliant article and analysis @SeB, finally and article on English from you! Keep them coming mate
  3. 400 pages of same old crap, over and over again ...
  4. Picture is worth 1000 words Yet England seems to criticize and judge the most nations for racism ...
  5. I really like the fact that whenever I see him, speaking, walking, or reading his tweets/blogs - he seems so...well like one of us. A Chelsea fan who really loves the club. It's not something I feel often with players, but in this case with Mata, it's really strong. Really love the guy
  6. I would welcome him here for a reasonable fee, but not as a main option. As a backup striker he would do fine. His qualities are in his striker's instinct and finishing which he wouldn't lose as seasons go. It seems that neither Sturridge nor Torres have a bright future here, so I wouldn't be surprised if this transfer happened.
  7. Indeed, 1 Champions League, 3 league trophies, 4 FA Cups, 2 League Cups and 2 Community Shields in the last 7 years is a rather dull score for a football club of our stature... One would think some people here are supporting a mid-table club, not a current European Champion holding shitload of trophies in the club's cabinet. Not only that, but we have an owner who is pouring millions and millions and millions into the club hoping to make us the best and biggest club in the world. And not only that, but he fails to give up on that wish and does everything he believes in necessary to accomplish it...
  8. Dear mother of god. I...I....will stay silent until I see more from him. FFS CHELSEA.... Mental...I'm shocked...I wanna...punch someone in the face, multiple times with extreme force. FUCK! But come on lads, give him some support, he is our manager after all even though I hate the fat bugger...by not giving support without him actually doing anything bad for our club, we bring an awful plastic picture about us to other clubs... Dammit...
  9. Guys please...I understand your frustration, disappointment and anger, but he is still a Chelsea player who hasn't done that much against the club for hatred like this. Sure, there were some articles here and there, but you know how are media alike when it comes to us and Torres...I'm not saying you should be all loving him and supporting him, but he is still a Chelsea player. It hasn't worked out sadly for him and us I agree that it is time for him to leave, but I still support him whenever he is on the pitch because of the shirt he is in. I find it really really ugly when other teams don't support their players when things aren't doing well and I hate it to see it here.
  10. No need for Jovetic. As it was said above, we need a pure striker. Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Marin and Moses with the addition of Sturridge who can also be deployed as a second striker or on the wing. Where would you fit a young player who wants to play week and week out in there? That said, he is a brilliant player. I used to watch him regularly when he was at Partizan and the team that brings him will do a great piece of business....
  11. Omen my arse! When you constantly win trophies and sack managers that can happen
  12. Hazard? Really? Yeah, he scored the goal, but for me hasn't earned MOTM vote...in the 2nd half he seemed exhausted and unmotivated... Hail Cesar, a fullback which can actually cross and defend! My MOTM vote goes to him.
  13. Should've done better, but at least he is getting into positions and looking dangerous...something I cannot say for our other striker who seems to be afraid of scoring. I'm fully confident that if we give Sturridge 10% of the faith and support we gave to Torres he will use it well and start banging them in on a regular basis...
  14. We also have to take into consideration our fullbacks...both Ryan and Cesar are not experienced as Ash (best LB in the world) and Bran (probably best RB in the league) are, so not so impressive performances from pairing of Luiz and Cahill have been influenced by that too... For me, our defense looked best with Ivanovic-Luiz-Terry-Cole and by simple logic I would choose Terry and Luiz. When it comes to Luiz and Cahill, although I find them decent, they seem to be playing better with a player who is more of a leader and commander like Terry and probably Ivanovic. Not really sure since our defense looks insecure since the preseason...little amount of goals we conceded is a lie created by Petr Cech's pure awesomeness.
  15. I find it really difficult to judge RDM when he doesn't have a world class striker...lots of times we play well, crosses are there, passes are there and shots are there, but goals are not...goalkeepers also tend to have storming matches against us...if Sturridge scored today when he went 1on1 I'm pretty sure we would have won. There were also a few chances against Liverpool where we could've simply won the game and also killed it of early but yet again, we failed to find the back of the net... I won't blame Robbie for that because we know that he club wanted to bring another striker before this season. There were approaches for Higuain, Lewandowski, Cavani, Shurrle and Falcao, yet we didn't manage to bring anyone in probably due to the board refusing to let clubs pull our titties again which I applaud. I'm really anxious to see what will happen in January and who will lead our front line in the 2nd half of the season.
  16. It is good that this is happening. Board will finally realize we need a new big name striker that eats thunder and craps lighting Falcao.
  17. @RamiCFC9,@kellzfresh, @The Skipper, please, try not to post irrelevant things to the thread in order to avoid going off topic. I moved your posts here. There is one thing I really don't like about Chelsea - lack of hope to put some faith into someone/something. We buy young players, yet we don't give them a chance. We have a chance to have our own Guardiola who actually loves the club and is a legend here, yet our fans want a foreigner who, yes had shitload of success while at Barca, but he also had pretty much the best players available to him. He also had Messi. Lots of times when things weren't going Messi was there to bag 2-3 goals and smoothen things up...well guess what, we don't have Messi but Torres and players who are yet to reach their potential... Robbie ain't doing a bad job at all. Sure, there are decisions some fans wouldn't make, but this is his 1st real season with us. Look at the players he brought? Give him a chance to complete his team and then judge him. Have some faith in our own Ferrari :blue scalf:
  18. It felt so good to see him bang in that goal, and right away you could see the leadership was back as the team looked relaxed and composed...when I heard his scream...dammit I hope scan shows it's nothing too serious...
  19. The way I see it, Robert would be an ideal player for us. He can work well with out players in the build up but he can also act as a true number 9 with his rather good finishing. I would be really happy if we signed him and I wouldn't be surprised at all if we went for him. He is only 24.
  20. Damn Atletico Madrid fucked up my betting...
  21. Just chill buddy and wait 'till January...journos write bullshit about us on daily basis...
  22. Fuck mistakes he makes, we all make mistakes, but what I absolutely respect and love about him is his mindset and approach to the game. When he makes a mistake he does absolutely everything in his power to redeem himself to his teammates and fans. Not only that, but he clearly has the balls to step up when needed and with his recent rather good FK shots it shows he practices a lot. His penalties seem rather decent also. Good to have a person like him in the dressing room. I actually wouldn't be surprised at all if I see him as our captain in a few seasons. Oh and those Chelsea wristbands...brilliant!
  23. And the usual target man talk where he creates space for other players to exploit?
