I see him as a 1st team player for a teams such as Villa, Liverpool, Blackburn and similar who are somewhere in the middle of the table or have decent team, but not on a world class team as we are (or were )

He's a good player, but with almost 30 years and bad form I wouldn't like him here. Arsenal wouldn't sell him cheap and I rather that we play alot of money for a younger player who can play with us some more. Players like Arshavin lose their speed and agility with their age...and if we sign him in the summer like the rumours say, he'll be 30 and will probably play on left wing, so we'll have 2 left wingers over 30 years =.= Sanchez, Neymar, Lukaku much better options in my opinion. Young and can be sold much better.

Check this, we give them Kalou, get Luiz and then get Sanchez, but it won't happen, at least not 'till summer. But, this also means that Sturridge will get more chances

Getting a backup keeper is a pretty tough thing imo. If you buy a great GK then it's a shame that he warms the bench. If you grow a young keeper then he's prone to mistakes and you can easily lose a match because of some little mistake. Having an old keeper is pretty alright since he's experienced but he's days are coming to a close and he wants to play more. Damn I'm glad we have Cech

That looks cool on paper but Alex is injured, Carlo's job unsecure and he's a bit scared to play Bruma unless he has to. Now compare this to Arsenal and Wenger. Vermaelen is injured, Djourou is probably worse then Bruma though with some experience, Squillaci is oldish and Koscielny nothing special yet he sticks with them and has full confidence in these guys. That's why Arsenal's best players are all around 25 (Fabregas and Nasri 23!), and our best players all above 30 years old.

Well Paulo if you are leaving I wish you good luck. You weren't the best right back in the world but you were always there when needed and always gave out your best on the field and that's what fans appreciate the most.
