Mean we saw Chels get their medals and went soon as got down the slopey bit sea of red! Or quick presenation Erm...I dont think we played that bad!! Werent to great defending at times and up front but wouldnt look at us and think 'yep we're fucked' and then look at Man U and go 'they'll win it' the way some people have.We were just a bit off at times.Started ok lol just couldnt finish chances and VDS was on pretty good form Today doesnt matter...next week is where it all begins...begin where we left off!
  10. Yeh!!!! I read that 'new Liverpool blah blah' they were playing against nobodies for christ sake. And the whole 'has he made a mistake yada yada' no offense to Joe but he was like that, started off well then got injured or invisable
  11. Blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson has pulled out of the England squad for Wednesday's friendly with Hungary and retired from international football. The 30-year-old played at the 2006 World Cup but had drifted off the scene until his recall for this game. "Only now have I been able to make this decision as previously I haven't been in contention for selection," he said. "I don't see myself as a number three or four keeper and find that role very frustrating." The former Leeds and Tottenham goalkeeper made his England debut in 2003 against Australia and won 41 caps, including playing in all five of England's games at the 2006 World Cup in Germany. But he paid the price for costly errors as England failed to reach Euro 2008, most famously failing to connect with a Gary Neville back pass which resulted in an own goal in the 2-0 defeat in Croatia. His last appearance for England was a 2-1 defeat against Russia in 2007, where he could only palm a long-range shot into Roman Pavlyuchenko's path to set up Russia's winning goal. Robinson was not selected by England for two years after that, and only earned a recall to the squad when David James was injured for the World Cup 2010 qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Andorra. Having fallen behind James, Joe Hart and Robert Green in the international pecking order, he was never a likely contender for a place in this year's World Cup party. He was named in England coach Fabio Capello's first squad since the disappointment of South Africa, but with the younger Joe Hart and Ben Foster more likely starters, he announced his decision. "I haven't had the opportunity of anything other than this [not being first choice] in recent years therefore I feel it in the best interest of myself and my club Blackburn Rovers that I concentrate solely on my club football." The Football Association says it has no plan to replace him in the squad. BBC Sport
  12. If Capello didnt turn up for their under 19s? whatever it was quater final or whatever no shock theres no Youth. After all that yap as well... Fingers crossed no injury And no Joe Cole....
  13. Nah doubt end up like the Robhio saga..mean for one thing Benfica, are willing to sell him to us! Dont think Madrid were ever gana let him come to us and were probably grateful for the shirt cock up so they had more ot an excuse
  14. We loose this..expect the doom and gloom of 'we wont win the title blah blah' We win however..be no doubt tipped to win everything lol.Win be a huge boost in confidence which seems we kinda need at the moment.A loss....1-0..2-1 be ok..something mental like 3-1 however...nah be shit!
  15. It is stupidly timed.Someone will end up injured and all will kick off but by then be to late damage done etc..fingers crossed it dont happen but bound to
  16. Looking forward to this..nice to start the season off with silver ware. After finsihing that way and over Man U as well.... But it we loose..hopfully be 1-0 then some stupid scoreline!!
  17. And at times last year we didnt have the best defence...and still won the double.Just need to see what went wrong etc and get it right if possible sunday but more imporantly for next week. And like said no one really have had a great pre season. And its what pre seasons there for etc,
  18. Meh what pre season about etc, finding out what doesnt work/need work.Still time to sort it out come Sunday...god thats come around quick!
  19. Guess better to have a bad pre season to see where changes need to be made etc then get to the start of the season then have problems.Gives Carlo more time to access things and all that jazz
  20. Same old England then lol..just in younger form!
  21. And he has proven he can perform under pressure. As seen against Milian etc.Yeh we lost but still seeing as doubt be even on the bench for that game.Ok Hilaro performed under pressure as well but can be a bit hmmm Hard to call. Both prone to crazy moments. But like said Turnball more the future etc
  22. Defintly!! 3 trophies..2 on pens..and us on the other hand say 04/05-09/10.3 we've done what,2 FA Cups,2 Carling Cups,2 Community Shield,3 Prem Titles 'And as for his whole 'Biggest club in England' crap seemed to forgot Man U exsisted then!
