  1. 4 strikers is alot for any team, also teams who playes with two upfront. You will see that at least 1 of the strikers in each team (City and United) will want to leave in the summer or even January. Dzeko, Balotelli, those players needs to play bigger parts in any team, and Hernandez shouldnt be a 4th striker. In the end they'll had enough of sitting on the bench. It cant stay like this forever and imo its unhealty for the team. Real Madrid who playes with one striker has two in their squad, and its like that for about two or three seasons. imo two is enough for a team who playes with one upfront. Three strikers only if the 3rd is very young or someone who's in the end of his career, otherwise the player wouldnt want to stay if he sees he wont get to be the first or second choise.
  2. So i read more about this "release clause" thing, and while some sources say its 65m euros, the meaning of this release clause is that we only need to pay it and Athletico can do nothing. It sounds too simple, but thats the deal. Will we splash this money in January? only Roman knows.. i have no idea.
  3. Yes we got to bring a CDM in january, we cant rely on Romeu. My suggestion is Etienne Capoue, is a beast.
  4. Is it true he has a £46m release clause? does it mean we could pay that and thats it- he's ours? never understood this shit..
  5. He's out of this world... just scored an amazing brace for Colombia. He's doing everything perfect when he's in the box... probably one of the best strikers we've seen in the last few years. And off course Daily Mail with their bs: http://www.dailymail...o=feeds-newsxml Still sure he wont move in January.
  6. But we are talking about January, and "Loic Remy or Falcao" is realy not the question to ask. if you dont belive what Atletico's general manager said (that they wont sell him in Jan for sure), than you probably gonna be very disappointed. There is no point for them to sell in the middle of the season, none, its not even like the player wants to move in january (like Torres did). Atletico could get the same amount of money in the summer, even more. And i dont agree that we need to get only the players who known has the best. Thats a stupid idea. Squad players are important, and Real and Barca get those players also. And those players can prove they are better than what you thought. If you belive to the rummurs, RDM did want him in the summer.
  7. It's not about looking at players it's about watching football. If you didn't saw much of Remy, why you're talking about him? I personally do watch the French league so I know Remy and I think he can be a good fit for us. And what players are "right" in your opinion?
  8. Im pretty sure that 90% of the posters in this page didnt see much of Remy. Correct me if im wrong.
  9. But overall he scored 20 goals in 42 games, for a side that finished 10th in Ligue 1. This is very good. This season he's benched because he got injured and Gignac got his place, and for now he's doing good. If Sturridge wont succeed in the next few monts I think Remy will be a great adittion to the squad. but most of you wouldnt, as you still think Falcao in January is possible. When we'll start talking about real candidates (again, for me its in case Sturridge wont deliver, or Torres will be very bad), i think Remy is one of the best options, and i think he'll fits into our game.
  10. André Ayew is a winger, definitely not what we need.
  11. Atletico Madrid will not part with Radamel Falcao in January, but have hinted that they could be persuaded to cash-in on the highly-rated striker next summer. "€60 million for Falcao would solve all the economic problems at Atletico," general manager Gil Marin told COPE Radio. "I can say for sure, though, that he will stay with us until the end of the season. Not only will he stay, but so will all the players that the coach wants to stay. "We will fight to perform a miracle which is what we are doing with what we have available. "In Europe there are 50 clubs with more income than we have. If we were to sell Falcao for €60 million then that would cover our debts." "If Atletico do not qualify for the Champions League or cannot afford to meet his wage demands then I do not think that Real Madrid could afford him either," he continued. "We have to do impossible things and take risks so that the fans can have the team that they want. It is difficult to maintain." http://www1.skysport...-Radamel-Falcao
  12. Actually their back up for Nasri and Silva is very poor, considering how deep they are in strikers, full backs and midfielders. You dont always need more than one AM back up if you play with two in your line up, but Sinclair is nowhere near the highest level. but thats the player they wanted so...
  13. I read that he went to this game for Malaga's Isco, not for Falcao.
  14. I haven't read what he said about the "History" thing, if he did say it like that than its stupid by him, but i cant blame him for what he said about our management and our owner himself. Now things are going well, but back then we all hated Roman's decision. The guy got hurt by the club, rightly so.
  15. realy? didnt heard of those... like what?
  16. So... why exactly you are all hating AVB now? because i remember pretty good that almost all of us went crazy when he got sacked. Is it because he went to Spurs? thats kind a childish. He only been here for 7-8 months, and its a good job for him. Or is it because he benched Lampard? again, i remember 90% of the forum agreeing with this move and seeing it as a 'brave' move back then. ahmhypocritesahm.
  17. Source? i realy dont think they will go for him, its too ridiculous as they already have 4 top class strikers, whice is too much already.
  18. But WHY would they sell him in January? what's the rush?
  19. Simple questions for you guys: 1. Is he better than Torres? 2. Is he good enough to be a starting striker for us? I know we havent seen enough of him as a striker, but your thoughts... I think its a healthier topic than Falcao/Cavani.... as they wont come in january. we need to know that.
  20. Wow, couldnt disagree more. Its the last thing i want in Chelsea, a player that will look like he's playing in a different team. I can honestly say that i dont want Ronaldo here even if we can get him for free (and i dont hate him or something, rate him very much). But, i do agree that he can be a bit more selfish. Shoot more, taking players on a bit more..
  21. Off topic- just looked at our next 10 matches after this one... and its very scary. Shakhtar x2, Man United x2, Tottenham Away, Liverpool, Juventus away, Man City. Other two are Swansea away (tough as well), and WBA away. Good thing is that our next 10 games after those are very 'easy' compare to this.
  22. I dont have a real problem with it, but i dont understand why this is one of the 'hottest' topics in the forum when we're in october?
  23. haha i love ashely... and it will be perfect if he'll fuck them up and retire. just hope the club change is way and offer him a decent cotract. i can see him flying to Madrid or Paris... they will both offer him the same money and on at least 2 years. we should close this quick.
  24. Realy hope Sturridge will start this one, any chance you think?
