Poor try Lampard.
-
Just LOL Torres...
-
No wonders that Frimpong is from Arsenal... Though Cole is being poor, as usual..
-
Those suckers should move their fucking ass on the pitch instead of doing this.
-
You're the ugly duckling Ryan !
-
Well, I am sceptical. Had it been another formation than the 4-3-3, it could have been interesting, but if the official website is right, then it looks odd.. And I am not thrilled with the midfield, it is always the same negative one. I'll wait and see, though.
-
Subs: 23 Ross Turnbull, 20 Paulo Ferreira, 27 Sam Hutchinson, 34 Ryan Bertrand, 45 Nathaniel Chalobah, 20 Josh McEacharn, 18 Romelu Lukaku. So many young players on the bench... Not even one in the starting line-up, meh.
-
Injured, it seems.
-
A midfield composed of Lampard, Meireles, Ramires and Romeu... I get it, the creativity is a vague concept for our club.
-
It is not the team news, it is what it is the most likely. In general that's quite accurate.
-
According to SkySport : Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Ramires, Lampard, Meireles, Sturridge, Torres, Mata. Another draw then ?
-
I hope they had a bat party. After their pathtic performance, they don't deserve to have a good party.
-
I am afraid that this is the same situation than when Blackburn wins against United...
-
No, we are not. A team which possess : Strikers who can't score for their live ; A right back who can neither attack nor defend ; A midfield with zero creativity in it, nor technical players ; No wide men.... Can't win shit.

Pardon me for my french, and pardon me if I look condescending, but many of us here are too narrow minded and don't look at the big picture. A football club is a system where many things interact with each other. It isn't all due to the manager, or to the player. And there's an entity we are forgetting in this system, this is the board. As things stand today, the biggest culprit - and by far - for our lamentable state of form is Gourlay and co, or whatever their names, the people who are running our transfers for the four previous years. This isn't André's fault, nor Ancelotti's, nor Lampard's if our midfield is one of the most negative of the Premier League. No, it is the fault of the yes-men in Armani suit who have only bought defensive midfielders and didn't think it was necessary to bring a playmaker. It is them who have though for many years that a striker can play just as well on the wings. It is them who have been pleased with those overpaid deadwoods who do not give a shit. If we are in deep shit nowadays, this is because we are run by business-men more interested by organizing some tournament in Asia than buy the right players.
-
But there's a middle step between saying "we are good enough to win every thing" and "we are shit and we won't win anything", don't you think ?
-
Well obviously André Villas-Boas has to take his share of criticism. He isn't innocent for the situation we're in. The first thing we can criticize him for - which is clearly his biggest mistake - is his poor squad assessment and summer mercato. He was very naive to think the squad we had back then was good enough, to quote him, to compete for the four trophies. This mistake is clear as crystal, even him did recognize this by banning Alex and Anelka - two players who should have go in the summer - from the team, and by out-casting Kalou and Malouda. He didn't realize soon enough that some players were like cancer, and he failed to find a plan B to Modric. Here lies his first mistake. His second one, is that he doesn't impose him-self well enough, to my taste. He should be rougher with under-performing players. He should put them in the stand and play youngsters instead of them, just to make 'em understand they aren't permit to make what they want. And finally, I hope he stops with his "the team is good enough to play in four competitions", "our squad has immense talents", etc...

As the saying goes in French, you can't turn a donkey into a race horse. No one will turn Torres into a 30-goals-a-season player, no one will turn Meireles into the next Xavi, no one will turn Bosingwa into the new Dani Alvès, etc... Our team is filled with mid-table players.
-
Now we will be raped with the players' price tag. The whole world knows we are desperatly in need to get new players.
-
This is no time to axe again a new manager. There's something way more vital than that, i.e. buy a new whole team. If we sack him, it means that once again the manager will have no time to asses his team and all the deadwoods will stay at the club, like some of them have did for some years.
-
Our team is exploding. All the bad works accomplished during the four or five previous years in the mercato is starting to hit back at once this season. We have piled up the bad managements of the squad, year after year. André has inherited a bomb. This squad is way too negative. If both our board and André aren't able to target our real problems, and to fix them, then the future for us is quite dark.

This is the first time I stop watching a game. I can't take no more today. Pathetic.
-
Come on LDN. Not you. Sam certainly lacks match fitness.
-
For Jésus sake... BlueLion, please, censor the name "Torres".
