  1. So, what was the point of this trip ? To have a bunch living deads ?
  2. I thought Malouda was rather good today. At least compared to our team's general level.
  3. That wasn't a penalty... Oh well, it's the payback for what happened last time we played them.
  4. We will really have to find a striker who is playing like a striker. That would be a start.
  5. I miss the Mourinho's "boring Chelsea"...
  6. Just NO. If he doesn't make at least four world class performances (by this, I mean like Drogba did against Valencia), then we have to give him the boot. We have no time to waste on a big flop, we have much more important things to fix.
  7. Fair enough. I won't try to argue that Barcelona players are saints, because some of their players are divers (or overdo things when falling), like Sergio Busquets, Danni Alvès, Pedro, Adriano and Masherano. But what I will argue, it's about this tag many people are putting on Barça, i.e. that they are cheaters and divers. While it is clear some of their players have the tendency to overdo when they fall on the ground, they aren't the only ones to do that. Indeed, Madrid have their share of divers and cheaters, like Ronaldo, Pepé, Di Maria, to mention few. And globally, more or less all the players playing in a latin country - or more or less all latin players - have the tendency to fall down quite easily. Don't get me wrong, I am not making a dig towards Latin culture, or latin people, no. But this is somehow just a part of their culture, for instance italians like to dive and cheat - this is a generalisation of course, but if I take this example, this is because I know what I am talking about. What I am trying to say there, it's that this is not only Barcelona players who are acting like this. And if we have this sterotype "Catalan = diver", this is because it is in the agenda of some media. Indeed, when people are talking about Barcelona, it seems that they either love it (and brag "it is the better clun in the world, blabla) or hate it (and say "it is a bunch of divers), it is either hate or love, hence we don't have unbiased opinion. I hope you get my point....?? But I don't buy this "Barça are being helped by the referees". Indeed, if the referees were really biased toward Barça, then Pepé wouldn't have played the game yesterday, because he would have been undergoing a five games ban +. Coentrao would have been suspended because of his bad and un-sportive move on Messi. Diarra would have been sent off during the game. And we shouldn't be too harsh on the referees of the Classico. Indeed, at the moment this is the biggest game in the world, this is the most televised game, this is the game the most important (because the winner will be said to be the best team in the world), plus it is a derby. Therefore, there's a lot of pressure, even more since Mourinho is at the helm of Madrid. You can feel it when you see the 22 players on the pitch. And there an unbelievable amount of divings and bad tackles, due to the importance of the game. I think we can't imagine what kind of pressure the referee has when 22 players keep surrounding you all the game to argue your decision, and when 80+ millions people whistle when your decision isn't in favor of the home side. I wouldn't like to be at his place... We forget that referees are human. So it's kinda normal if sometimes the ref forgets to sanction a bad tackle, or gives a yellow card too easily.
  8. Hazard doesn't have a buy-out clause. The only thing which has been said, it is that Lille wants €40m from his sale and that they don't want to sell him before the summer.
  9. You delinquent ! Do you plan to make a "conspiracy to commit copyright infringement" ?
  10. Do I come from another planet ? Because last time I checked, Pepe topped the whole Barcelona team when it comes to dive.
  11. I don't know if Mourinho will win a trophy this year, but what's for sure, he might destroy Spanish Nation Team.
  12. The second commentator on my stream is hilarious. He keeps saying "roh" "waouh", etc... like a kid ! Epic !
  13. Holly God, what a goal by Alvès
  14. Lmao. Like if they saved him out of charity. If they saved him and his family, that's only because he had some special skills, skills that they would use later. Basically, they only have seen him as a tool and saved him because he would have been of some utility for them. Hypocrites.
  15. At first, I was sure it was intentional... though , after watching from another angle, it seems he is only trying to stabilise himself to not to fall on the ground. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2DhXdjI1QQ
  16. Since when do you have contacts with DFCO (Dijon) ? I prefer to not speak about it... About what have you been motivated in Patrice Carteron's project ? I've been captivated by the club's working methods. I appreciate the type of football the team plays when trying to get hold of the ball. Patrice Carteron managed to find the right words to convince me of joining Dijon. You should easily integrate yourself in a team with many young players... I have been well welcomed by all the players and the staff members. It is well appreciated. I have never felt to be outcasted during the training sessions. I am well satisfied by my first days at Dijon. I was able to discover training sessions like I like them, i.e. with a lot of play with the ball. Which role have Florent Malouda and Didier Drogba played in your coming to Dijon ? When I told them that Dijon was interested by me, they adviced me to go there. Thus, I have put aside all the other possibilities I had. Quickly, my decision was to go to Dijon. In my mind, there weren't other choices. Why did you not said yes to bigger clubs ? Rumors were saying Marseille were interested as well... Was it a too much risky choice ? I didn't consider this possibility as a risk. I don't fear pressure. Marseille already has its starting eleven. I might have been usefull for them for a month, during the ACN, but after that Marseille would have recovered all their players... It would have been more hard to get a good playing time. Your « big prospect of French football » tag isn't too heavy to handle ? It doesn't bother me that we are labeling me like that. It doesn't put me any pressure. I would even say it is good to hear. I wish to show that I am worth all those praises. We shouldn't forget the fact I am still 20 years-old, I have still plenty of things to learn. When my time will come, I'll show to the whole world what I am able to. What are your attributes ? Let's say I am rather good technically. I have still a lots of things to work on. I'll do everything to be an absolute starter in my new team. These last years, I have lacked of playing time. To recover my genuine level, I have to play on a regular basis to be performing weeks in weeks out. I want to get back the feeling I had when younger. I want to play at the same level of my debuts. Your loans to Fulham and Bolton didn't work out as you could have wished. On what are you confident about now ? At Fulham, I have played but seldom as a starter (7 games in PL, one goal). I have improved myself a lot there. It still be a good experience for me. I have improved both in training sessions and off pitch. At Bolton (4 games, 0 goal), it wasn't as good... But I still have learned through watching games with Coyle. I do not consider this loan as a fail. I hope it will work at Dijon. I noticed that here, there weren't differences being made between players. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I apologise if my translation appears to be rough.
  17. ^ That's frustrating... Here what Patrice Carteton, the Dijon coach, said after the game : « He still has the room to gain a step upper in the physical level. He played for the team, and he has waited the right time to showcase his individual ability. He has scored a somptuous freekick. » « Overall, he has played right. He has been very generous (in his efforts) and, despite a swollen ankle, he has gritted his teeth to stay on the pitch. We can rely on him. »
  18. http://www.wat.tv/video/eurosport/dijon-istres-resume-4stlt_2f1o7_.html Is it working for non-French people now ?
  19. I can't find an other one... Sorry ! I'll keep checking the internet the forthcoming days if I find one, as I assume you're not the only one unable to see it.
  20. http://video.eurosport.fr/football/coupe-de-france/2011-2012/dijon-istres-resume_vid214730/video.shtml The goal is on a free kick.
  21. Don't you know ? Malouda is the ugly human being who didn't pass to Torres, and thus, because of the nasty French, the spaniard did a goalless one-goal half season at Chelsea.
  22. Are we seriously bidding on two wingers ? I refuse to believe it. Either Hazard or Willian rumor is false, if not both.
  23. Yep. These players are (rather "were") always moving. When they have the ball, they run into spaces to have find a good pass to pick and possibly to approach the opponent's box. When they don't have the ball, they are also running into spaces if there are some available, or are moving around to drive away themselves from the opposition players in order to be available to get the ball. They don't stand up like statues.
