I agree with this mostly. I didn't necessarily think tuchel would be a bad fit, just relaying what others said. I had my concerns but they weren't huge. It's clearly been a brilliant fit so far.

A lot of people were skeptical because of the bust ups he has had at every single club he's been at. He seemed a bit arrogant and combative with the clubs hierarchy which is never a good idea with the Chelsea board.
-
Tuchel said he doesn't need surgery, and hopes he will only be out 2 weeks. Good news considering the pain he was in.

Genuine question: How has lukaku improved while at inter? Like what characteristics, etc. I haven't watched him much since at Man U, so I'm not thrilled about this at all. But I think he'll be hungry to prove everyone wrong and he'll get my full support.

I think it will be like the arsenal game where it's on the 5th stand app, but you have to pay.

Does anyone know where I can watch the game now? Is there a place with the recording? Or something that I can stream?

The funny thing, they are also by far our 2 most frustrating players in possession. Both lose the ball when they shouldn't or find the wrong pass often (kante esp) that disrupts transition momentum. It's so annoying. Not trying to take anything away from them, there's no perfect player. And I love them both. Absolutely brilliant players. But they are certainly limited. I think that's one of the reasons azpi is underappreciated at times. There's no flash or silky smoothness.

Anybody have a good stream? All the ones I've found are lagging bad

I think havertz will get the start. Werner is nailed on. So maybe werner - mount - havertz Or werner -havertz - puli if he wants to rest mount like he did werner. I'd also love for Reece to start playing some at rcb. Not necessarily this fixture but he's obviously capable and would provide an additional attacking threat.

Why does it have to be one or the other? It's not black and white. They're totally different players. Fab was much more of risk taker, brilliant creativity, long pass specialist. But he didn't control the tempo like jorginho does. He ran the show often but in a much different way. He was a decisive player who biggest impacts were often directly involved with goals. Jorginho is a person who dictates tempo much more, keeps things flowing, creates a ton of space for teammates, but offers shorter passes. He is a player who's impact is often not directly involved with goals, but overall play. You can appreciate both. I do. And I say that even though I wish gilmour would play more often over jorgi. No doubt jorgi has been brilliant since TT has taken over.

He's 21. He left his home 6 months ago (which has talked about how hard that is--he's clearly a homebody and this has been difficult). He had covid with some strong symptoms. He hasn't gotten his confidence back yet. He's been poor (especially last couple of weeks), but he's gonna be a top player. Talent has oozed through at times and he's a hard worker. It'll come. I have no worries about him. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I agree that I wish we would have kept him. Great squad player. But the last part about our only CM with goalscoring threat...what about mount? And even havertz to a degree. I won't count RLC cause it seems he's leaving. I think we are light on goal threats from there, but he's not the only one. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Yes, it's accurate if I'm remembering the interview right. To clarify, he wasn't talking about alonso giving himself a mountain to climb to get in to the team or something like that. He meant that when you make mistakes like we did for the goals, you are making a mountain for yourself to climb to get a result in the game. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I wish Ampadu would be played at CB. I think it's the only position he has the potential to be top class. I don't see him as a DM/CM. But can see him possibly doing really well at CB. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Ha my apologies. I didn't read it very well. Skimmed and focused on the line up. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I must say, that's obviously not realistic. That's 8 new top level starters...that's ridiculous in one window. And honestly not healthy for a squad as a whole. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

This is common in a lot of transfers. You negotiate without ever submitting an offer. Once you negotiate to a point of agreement, then you make the offer... That's why clubs can say they haven't received any formal offers for players, but still be deep in to negotiations. It's especially common when clubs know the player wants to leave, which is the case here. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Worried about Kova and the Achilles. He injured it earlier in the season and now again. As we know, these injuries are no joke.... I'm hoping it just got stepped on and that it's not related to the previous injury Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

The partnership that James and CHO were making on the right was reallyyyyy good until CHO and Reece got injured. I think CHO is still dangerous on the right. Maybe not quite his best, but still tons of potential. I think the whole LW vs RW thing is overrated. Most top wingers can do both easily (there are some obvious exceptions) Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I actually like chilwell a lot. He has a massive engine, gets up and down constantly. He also has this bit of arrogance on the ball that I love (for example, Reece James has it even more so). He's quality and thoughtful going forward. He isn't looking to just get to byline and cross aimlessly, but early crosses and passes across the box, trying to pick people out. And that sort of helpful in building out of the back too. He definitely has a lot of room for improvement, esp defensively. I don't think he's as poor as people make him out to be though. I would just say very average defensively. Not worth close to 80 mil. But he would improve us massively. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
