  1. This isn't about Rafa, this isn't about Torres, this isn't about x or y. I just can't understand how the fuck these so well payed men can be such twats sometimes. They earn in a month more than my father does in lots of years, but they don't show any dedication to what they do. They don't show any respect at all to the people who support them and pay to go see them playing. I accept the fact that our team can't win everytime, but playing like you don't give a shit about the man who pays you, the manager and the fans is something that I just can't understand. It's just ridiculous. What we saw tonight was just disgusting and absolutely shameful for a club like Chelsea.
  2. When said what I said about his attitude I was referring to the way he was treating his team mates ON THE FIELD. He wasted tons of opportunities because of his selfishness. I think I've said this before. There's my real critique of Sturridge as a footballer. Happy now?
  3. And I said that maybe I know him, but that doesn't make it true. It's irrelevant what he says to the media, just like those rumours about him are irrelevant. The only criteria that we should judge him about is what he's done on the field for Chelsea. And what he realized is not enough to make me regret him. I'm sorry, but that's the truth. It's not like we sold Messi. We sold a player that could prove to be good for a mediocre team like today's Liverpool.
  4. Maybe I know him! The point is that it doesn't matter what he says in a press conference or an interview. Obviously he would never say something that could harm his situation at Liverpool.
  5. Bummer! I was expecting him to say "Of course I've always been bitching around about playing on the wing and of course I'm going to do the same here!".
  6. I've just watched Liverpool's 2008-2009 Season Review just to see again how they were playing under Benitez and how was Torres back then. He wasn't that different. Yes, maybe his pace and confidence are not at such high level anymore, but they're not too low neither. On the other hand, his style and movement were exactly the same. Even the positioning was similar. He provided a lot of crosses from the wing that season. I came to the conclusion that either the service provided by our midfielders is too poor, either we lack speed (Liverpool were a very fast team that season, they were counter-attacking as the book says), either his playing style just doesn't match Chelsea's. Call me captain obvious, but the thing is that I'm not so sure anymore that it is only HIS problem. I'm not even sure if it is anyone's problem. Maybe he just can't work with Chelsea's playing style. It's not impossible. Regarding Liverpool under Rafa, the must important thing I've noticed is that they had spirit back then. A lot of late winners and a lot of spectacular turns. They really were a team that everyone should've been afraid of and I can't remember another period like that since Benitez left Anfield. I think he really is a good manager. That being said, I just hope he'll beat United 4-1 at the Old Trafford again.
  7. I am so glad I was wrong when I said that we won't win this game. Congratulations to all the Chelsea players and to the staff. Thank you for making hour holidays happier!
  8. Maybe, but I just can't explain how the hell can they play like they're on ecstasy and our players move like they're hungover. I don't think there's another team in the league we play this bad against. It's just everytime the same story, the same scenario.
  9. As expected, we won't win today. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with Chelsea everytime we're going to Goodison.
  10. Always a tough game against Everton. I'm not so optimistic about this, but who knows?
  11. I think his main attitude issue isn't necessary that arrogance you were talking about, but his selfishness. Some people seem to have forgotten too easily how many goal opportunities he wasted just because he didn't want to pass the ball.
  12. Moscow The 2009 semifinal Those interviews with Drogba after he left
  13. As I recall, Chelsea wanted Villa way before Torres came here. I personally agree with this transfer move, but this shouldn't be the only addition to our attack this winter. It's way too risky.
  14. Taking away all of his credit as a manager just because we don't like him as a man seems a little unfair to me. Rafa has done good so far. Not perfect, but good. And, to be honest, I think he's a very good manager for the Premier League and he is a decent solution on long-term in case Mou doesn't come back soon.
  15. Merry Christmas, chaps and lasses! Have a good one!
  16. Not that I'm his biggest fan or something, but that miss was not following a great service provided by the midfielders. It was a cross from Azpilicueta (I think), which Fernando tried but didn't manage to touch. The ball deflected from a Corinthians defender right back at Torres and he failed to score. In my opinion, that is the only thing Torres should be criticized for, the finish itself, but we can't say that the service was there. Because the service that day was absolutely disastrous. About today, I gotta be fair and I admit tha I really enjoyed his goal and I think that he is doing clearly better lately.
  17. Let me just grab my other other pair of glasses, maybe with those on I will be able to see where is the name Torres written in my post. I said it before, Torres is not the man for us either. We need someone great. We need someone like Drogba. I hope Lukaku will be ready soon. Until then, Falcao could be what we need. I assume that there is actually someone ready to replace Daniel, since we'll let him go. It's not like Roman needs the money Liverpool will pay for the lad.
  18. Exactly. He is a great athlete, but his attitude is so poor and that will always be a stop for him. I find it really hard to believe that Danny will ever manage to change that attitude. It's not too late for him, but not too early either. He is 23. Almost all of the world's greatest strikers were on fire at this level of age. He isn't even playing.
  19. It's a good deal for him, for Liverpool AND for us. He is a decent player, but he hasn't got what it takes to become a great one. We need someone great.
  20. If Chelsea qualifies and steaua Bucharest does that too, then I'll finally get to watch Chelsea live. Considering the fact that I hate steaua more than everything else, I think this will be a win-win situation for me. Anyway, we should try to win this competition. It's a trophy that will give us the chance to play for another (the SuperCup)
