  1. Indeed. I didn't bother to check since it was on Calcio Mercato and I thought they're rather reliable. Just had a look at Lukaku's instagram page and there's no such story.
  2. And Chelsea underperforming 'because of Alex Sandro'?
  3. 6 years since he joined the club. Champions League, Europa League, two Premier League trophies, one FA Cup, one League Cup. Well done, Captain!
  4. I feel like this is just a fake hype created by United, in order to allow them to go a little under the radar with the deal.
  5. Chelsea guy: "Hi West Ham guy, I'm contacting you regarding a possible loan of your player, Andy Carroll, to Chelsea." West Ham guy: "What? you're saying that you're from Chelsea and you want Carroll on loan? Get the feck outta here with this bollocks, I'm not in the mood for pranks. Where are you form? ClickHole? The Onion? They don't even deal with football, what's got into you? Piss off, we're trying to avoid relegation here lol" *hangs up the phone* Chelsea guy: "Hey, mate, it's me again. Please don't hang up, this is not a prank. We really want Andy on loan until May, I mean for real". West Ham guy: "All right mate, you want to play games? Take this: we will only leave Andy go on a permanent deal" *hangs up the phone again*
  6. Oh right. Forgot about that. I am confident that we can get a result there anyways. I mean look at the games. In the League, we clearly had the bigger chances, we should've won that game at the Emirates. And in the first leg, we should've also beaten them at the Bridge. We're clearly the better team and we just need to score. It just cannot go this bad forever. We have to start scoring at some point and I'm sure that that moment will come very soon. To be fair, despite the goal drought and despite the fact that a lot of people talk about a crisis at Chelsea, remember that we lost 0 games out of the last 10. 5 draws and 5 wins, I have to agree that it's not something to be super excited about, but still we're in a so-called crisis in which we're not actually losing games. This is our record for this season: 20-9-6. It's really not that bad. I mean we could've done better, but it's not that bad. People are overreacting.
  7. Yes, considering the context of the competitions. We'll trash Norwich on Wednesday at the Bridge and we can easily score on Emirates. 0-0 at home is always a decent result on the first leg. Remember that Barcelona Ovrebo kicked us out of the UCL after us drawing 0-0 on Nou Camp. 0-0 in the first leg, home, means that for every goal that you score away, your opponent needs to score two. 0-0 at home is the less harmful draw that you can get when it comes to playing two legs. I am confident that we'll go through in both of the competitions. Regarding UCL, there's still one month until the first leg of that double. A lot can change in the meantime. We won't be sucking forever, will we?
  8. That says a lot about the club's ambitions, though. Why would Courtois and Hazard extend their contracts, under these circumstances?
  9. I feel so frustrated seeing United pushing for him and us not doing a thing. We've done business with Arsenal before, there should be some strings to be pulled. Why aren't we even trying? The guy is world class potential and we could have him for 30-35 I guess. How big can his wages be?
  10. Fuck was that Moses... Worst performance since Conte took over. What a shame.
  11. Wasting so much time before taking this fk...
  12. I have a feeling that we will score after all
  13. Come on! This half cannot be as poor as the first one.
  14. Imagine when it will actually be Barcelona we’re playing against.
  15. Morata is nowhere. Not wide, not in the center of the box. What a waste of space. Maybe the Mourinho apologists were right and his stupid comments about Conte really were mind games. And they worked.
  16. Haha you should listen to the Romanian guys. One of them is a Spurs fan while the other supports United. The Spurs fan literally yelled “leave it!” when Vardy ruined that pass for Okzaki. They are Eurosport commentators, believe it or not.
  17. Wonder how many successful passes provided Fabregas and Hazard today. I have never seen them playing so poor. The whole midfield is a mess.
  18. Hazard and Fabregas have been shocking so far.
  19. It's not that it's hard or easy to manage. He's a phenomena because he makes people re-shape their clubs in order to fit his philosophy. It's exactly what he's been doing for City since 2015. His tenure at Bayern was a semi-failure because the club missed to do exactly that: they weren't flexible enough. It's a matter of compatibility. Give Guardiola Real Madrid and he won't be able to build a dinasty there. He needs a medium-big club (like City) and he'll turn the club into a great one. You might say that it's because of money and it probably is, but how many clubs didn't have a lot of cash in the same time and won nothing? I can think of a certain Real Madrid during his Barca times. He absolutely destroyed Real with all of their money, while his investments in transfers were only decent I'd say. @Chelsea4 - not change because Roman doesn't want to. And no one can force him. And even if he'd want to change something, it would take a lot of time to build a fresh identity (Chelsea are already established as one of Europe's finest - probably Guardiola wouldn't be as successful here as he's at City) and to find the right man for the job. Sarri's definitely not the one, as he doesn't win stuff. In my opinion, Roman will always think on short term. That's the way he sees it and this was proven many many times.
  20. Guardiola is a phenomena, he already built a dinasty at Barca before even signing for City. Sarri won fuck all with Napoli, with all due respect. Remember how Borussia used to play under Klopp? Liverpool brought him specially because of that. And look at where they are. If you had enough of Chelsea's management, you should try to have an objective look at how football is actually working. Man City signed Pep and built the whole club around him. Pep arrived at City in 2016, but the Pep project started one-two years earlier. Abramovich will never do that, as his philosophy and economic principles are slightly different. You can hate it, I certainly did a lot of times, but can't accuse the man of not being successful. Under Abramovich, Chelsea will never create a Pep project. We'll just keep changing managers like most of the clubs do. That's why I think Conte should be supported. He's doing good. He'll face the sack sooner or later and nobody can guarantee us that what comes next will actually be better than him.
