The Community Shield, specially when there's an international competition taking place, has to be one of the most irrelevant football games in the world of this sport. We missed most of our main players (the main goalkeeper - no matter if it's gonna be Courtois or another, one central defender - Christensen, our best central midfielder - Kante, our best player - Hazard and our best striker - Giroud). There were some signs of the maybe overly discussed change of style, but it's clearly going to take a lot of time before we look as a compact and strong team, capable of playing fast spectacular football. People need to be patient. The worst thing that can happen is us missing out on the UCL spots once again, but it's not like we are so not used to it that we wouldn't accept a season of sacrifice. Sarri clearly needs time, even Guardiola needed it. But he also needs the board to back him on the market, just like Guardiola needed that too. We are unacceptably quiet there and will probably panic buy during the last few days of the window. I just hope we sign a decent keeper and we keep Kante and Hazard. Martial would be fantastic, as Pedro can only be a decent sub. Another CM would help, in order to have Fabregas warming the bench as he should. So, from where I'm standing, there's a lot of work to be done and we need to be very very patient and tolerant when it comes to the manager's work.

Not to mention that I do not see Neymar as a Tuchel kind of player. It just doesn't match.I'd rather see him playing for someone like Zidane or Ancelotti, someone who allows big superstars to impose their personality and ego. Tuchel is a more involved kind of manager, so I don't see him being compatible with Neymar, who also doesn't get along with most of the other PSG players. I'd sell him at the first given opportunity, but on the other hand I also wouldn't buy him. I think he's a toxic presence, no matter how great of a player he might be. Back to Hazard, I have a feeling that he will be leaving this summer, as well as Courtois.

If PSG lose Neymar, I think they should focus on giving Mbappe the role that he deserves, with Cavani as the other big guy. I think that would be the smart move from them.
-
Fair point. But still, they should know better than dissing the man on Twitter.
-
I don't think it matters what was the background issue and who's the one that's guilty. I just think it's a cuntish move to edit people out of photos or to like posts celebrating their sacking. It's stupid and goes to prove how childish these "professionals" are. They should show some respect and stop throwing lame ass shades on Twitter or Instagram.

What a cunt. Just like Willian when he edited Conte out of that picture. Childish brats, can't wait to see them leaving this club. I am sick and tired of their attitude. Grazie, Mister!

I wish Roman was this involved while Conte was making demands too.

We will need plenty of improvements if we want to compete against these guys:
-
Don't know how legit this guy is (Italian journalist), but he's saying that Jorginho and Sarri are joining Chelsea this afternoon.
-
This would be the transfer of the summer.

Look who's got standards! Bad for him as I reckon Craven Cottage is the world's most beautiful stadium.

I feel so dissapointed about the way the club chooses to treat the fans. I understand if maybe things are not in their control (Abramovich's visa etc), but it's almost pre-season, the World Cup is days away from being over and we have no news regarding the manager or new players. No confirmation of Conte, no signing, no Sarri, no news about Hazard or Courtois new contract, nothing. They could at least inform the public if there are any legal challenges for the club. They know how many fans are waiting to see something happening, yet they choose to keep quiet and allow the media speculate. I can only wish for more transparency.
-
Zouma's back? I don't think he'll stay, though.
-
I don't care who we sign at this point. I just want to see some movement!
-
The guy is 34 y.o., won the UCL, Europa League, accomplished his childhood dream of winning an European trophy with Atleti and now he's going to Japan to make some good money. He's probably only got 2-3 more years of football, so how is the demise of his career complete? Fall from grace? Really can't see it.
-
I've said this before and I'll say it again. ADL is a prick and it's a pain in the ass to have to do business with him. But it must be fantastic to have him on your side. I can only guess that Napoli fans adore him.
-
Luis Enrique's just been named Spain's new manager. At least we know one thing for sure: it's not going to be Enrique
-
It's too late to keep Conte. Would've been an option if it was announced immediately after the FA Cup final.
-
This club loves giving the journalists the chance to put food on their table. Otherwise, I cannot find any reason why nobody comes up and clears all the speculation. Or at least says something like "You will hear from us when something happens. At the moment, Antonio Conte is our manager and we'll let you know if that changes". They just shut up and let Twitter and the media make Chelsea look like this summer's clown.

I wouldn't sell Luiz or any player to Napoli for less than 70m. Fuck De Laurentiis.
